  1. A question for you: if I preorder a June set, when Lego will send it to me?
  2. What a fantastic scene you created. I really like it I love everything but especially the treasure island on the left and two caves on the right.
  3. Well, I suppose that all three characters can be random witch and wizards. Even the one that seem Scrimgeour.
  4. Now we only miss a Leaky Cauldron where to put them
  5. I suppose (and hope) they think these charachters would fit better in a future minifigure series.
  6. Yes... but at the moment I can't remember any other character that would fit with the minifig. Could she be a witch that doesn't appear in movies?
  7. Not sure about the witch, could she be Doris Crockford?
  8. And the wizard on the left could be Scrimgeour
  9. Maybe the wizard with hat is Dedalus Diggle?
  10. I really like hearing (or reading) how everyone shapes his own Harry Potter canon. . I have never heard about Magic Railroad film until now, but your add seems so interesting to me. Hope to see your Hogsmeade station after August
  11. Nice building, but... [Just a little joke] ... what's the sense of having a waiting room for a train that depart from Hogsmeade only two times a year? I suppose the train would be already on the platform and no one would have to wait Returnig serious... Maybe I would make more pointed and slender the roof at the ends (left and right), like you can see in this image
  12. Image of HRH+Hagrid BrickHeadz is also on Instagram (simply look for #legoleak).
  13. Nice, but I prefer the other one, with sand green tail piece.
  14. In this lazy week, without new leaks and while I was preparing some orders on BrickLink and Lego for some projects I'm working on, I decided to play a little with Stud.io. When we didn't know what the 250$ August set would have been, some suggesteded it could have been Hogwarts Quidditch Pitch. So I've tryed to build this set, starting from Lego 75956_Quidditch-Match set. Hogwarts Quidditch Pitch [All]_2 by Brick Matit, su Flickr I kept the original set Hooped Goal Posts and Scoring Area and I also kept the original set towers structure. But I enlarged and raised up the towers, added four black and white towers for professors and hosts and six stands and created two scoreboard. On one side, into entral towers I put two tilting walls as players entrying points (on this side one could put two outside lockers room, one for each team). Final model dimensions are, well, very important : 2330 parts; 60,4 cm width, 44 cm length, 23cm heigth. I'm not sure wheter and when I'm going to build it with bricks, at the moment I miss a lot of pieces and I'm busy with other projects . Here other images https://www.flickr.com/photos/192611055@N03/albums/72157719023395437/with/51134217207/ Let me know what you think!
  15. Yeah, Lego uses legs length in a very creative way
  16. In my opinion, less likely and logic than giving us Penelope and completing all human petrified/attacked characters in CoS: Justin, Nick, Colin, Ginny and Penelope in Cos, Hermione in Myrtle's Bathroom. By the way, keeping the same height would have rule out also Cho, cause she's one year older than Harry, so third year and middle legs I think they simply wanted to add a Ravenclaw robe and Luna is probably the most known, important and appreciated Ravenclaw charachter. Surely more than Penelope. Not that putting Luna changed my opinion over the set. And I will create my own Penelope with no problem .
  17. Wow, you worked hard, but what a great result! I'm so happy to read you're finding out a way to appreciate this wave and building your own Hogwarts I hope other will find inspiration from your layout. In my case, not having so much space, I will simply build two Hogwarts, each on a different shelf But I have to say again, great, great work!
  18. In Italy, on Amazon, you can preorder Cos and Hogsmeade, but in a Sammarinese (not Italy, but, well, not really so distant ) online retail I bought from in the past you can preorder also Fluffy and Bathroom.
  19. I bought the book some time ago and I really prefer this Tom Riddle. I don't like the CoS Riddle, nor his face nor his outfit, mainly the lower part.
  20. When thinking about sets (or scenes) we are still missing, it's fantastic how, a part the respect of movie canon material and market considerations, the only limit is Lego designers' fantasy and creativity. I mean, yesterday I was thinking about OOP and I imagined a set that I've never think about before: Fred and George's departure (or escape) from Hogwarts. Lego could create a 4 charachter set (Fred and George, Umbridge and Filch), not necessarly with a somehow recognizable exterior or interior part, with some falling bricks or similar... something with Flying lesson set dimension. Not that I believe they will do this or that it would be a fantastic, unskippable set ... just to say how many things they could do to keep this theme somehow an evergreen.
  21. That's exactly my point (well I hope it was clear from my comment , I'm not sure ). That's the reason cause I continue hoping for a unicorn .
  22. I don't think DH is completely child-unfriendly, but yes some scenes (and not only from DH) can be seen as child-unfriendly. Try considering Malfoy Manor... in this location we had three main events: Deatheaters meeting, with Burbage killed and eaten by Nagini; Bellatrix torturing Hermione; Bellatrix killing Dobby (ok, he doesn't proper die here). Well, not proper child-frienldy scenes So would Lego produce Malfoy Manor set? Who knows? Probably they won't produce Malfoy Manor, but not only for what happened inside. They produced The Rise of Voldemort set, didn't they? In this scene Voldemort use Crucio on Harry, but Lego doesn't seem to have problem with it (but this scene maybe is less dark than those in Malfoy Manor). But DH is also Wedding, Tent, Lovegood Home, Sneak into the Ministry, Gringotts Excape, Last Duel. And I don't find this scenes so dark. So, if Lego want (and why they shouldn't?) they could easily produce some DH sets.
  23. This isn't the first time I've read on this forum that some scenes are too much dark for Lego to be produced (I remember this when I wished an unicorn in a Detention in the Forest set). Is it a real strategy? I mean, it would be really strange for me, considering that all Harry Potter movies, in my italian DVD collection (I've just controlled), are marked as "Movie for All" (so without age restriction). Unfortunately I can't remember wheter they had age restriction when first appeared in cinemas.
  24. I think that Lego separated Fawkes set cause this is not an anniversary set, but it continues last year Hedwig set; maybe we will have some other brickbuilt creature next years. Same reason for keeping H&H set separated from anniversary sets: Lego bets and hopes this set will sell well so they would easily continue the next year with Ron (and Dumbledore/Voldemort/...).
  25. Talking about LEGOs, saying that new castle sections are connectable to the prior 18-20 sets is, in my opinion, a small lie I mean, put two holes and two pins at the right height and you could say the same for a Star Wars set and a City one. This new style is really different from the old one. And that doesn't mean you can't put them together with satisfation. In my opinion, Lego took advantage of the 20th anniversary as a breaking point in the theme, using it as a new starting point. I'm not saying it's not legit! Lego, by the way, is an enterprise and so it will keep alive the Harry Potter theme (and license) as long as it will be profitable, it will try all legit strategies to broaden the buyers audience (with new type of set, like brickbuilt megafigures , art sets, reboot/remake) and try to make all of them somehow happy. I haven't a crystal ball (or I'm using Sybill's one), but I think in the next years (if this year sets will sell well and the theme will go on for other 3/4 years) we will see new style sets (so more focused on interior and with a more playable space) from PS, CS, PoA, GF, OF (Winged Keys Room and Final Challenge, Durmstrang Ship, Fred and George escape, Ministry of Magic battle...), beside to new not playable sets (Ron Megafigure), remakes (Hagrid's Hut, Hogwarts Express, Quidditch Pitch...) and some HPB or DH sets (Hog's Head, DH Tent, Gringotts escape...). My 2 cents, of course
