  1. Ok, keep calm, but... ... do you think Promobricks image is taken from this scene?
  2. Yeah, that's what I imagine when thinking about an Escape with the motorbike set.
  3. I'm not a DH expert, preferring the first part of the serie, but I think that some interesting stuff could be done: 1) I know this would be complicated, due to how Hagrid minifigure is, but Escape with the motorbike could be a nice little set (without Hedwig, so no killing) 2) Wedding at The Burrow, difficult mostly due to the amount of minifigures and pieces that you have to put inside, but you can make it simpler with only the Wedding Pavilion; 3) Incursion at the Ministery; 4) Godric's Hollow Cemetery; 5) Snatchers' attack to the Tent; 6) Gringott; even just the underground scene with the dragon; 7) Final battle in the courtyard; Just the first ideas I can think about while eating
  4. I think you've perfectly hit the main arguments about the DH issue or, at least, my arguments. All revolves around what Harry Potter LEGO team wants/likes to produce and thinks could satisfy who the main target consumer is (or they imagine is or they want it to be). Another point: even avoiding DH and with their main focus on PS, CoS and PoA they would have material for another full cycle without real remakes (apart the somehow oviously inevitables like Great Hall). I think that it would be really interesting knowing what length of the new cycle they are working on (3 years as the previous one?). Me the same. Basically too little for too much (money), considering my interests, needs and other expenditure.
  5. Talking about Quidditch uniform, I would really appreciate in the future a way to have Ravenclaw uniform, with blue cape, in good quantity and at an acceptable price. Unfortunately, I don't see LEGO produce a Quidditch Match with Ravenclaw, Rowena's players doesn't even appear in the movie (I'm not a Ravenclaw but I cry anyway ). So there are only two possibilietes left: a pack, like the student's one, or a book, like the Cedric's one you suggested. Luckily Amazon in Italy sold (and sell even now) the German version of the book at a good price (4,85€). Unfortunately there's a 3-copies-limit. You have to do at least 3 order for a complete team. Now I have 7 Hufflepuff Quidditch uniform and 7 books in a language I don't understand . It's time for learn German!
  6. Is it here that I've read that tomorrow could be a good full moon day for some news? Hopely this time Lupin has taken his potion ! Disclaimer: there's no hidden message in my comment, only small hopes. Finger crossed (LEGO will make me learning to cross not only every hands fingers but feet fingers too ) And March is arriving! Will you go full with new sets? I'm going to wait some interesting occasion, even just double VIPs points. My priority will be Hospital Wing (finally Madam Pomfrey!); I will wait more, probably, for Hogwarts Moments, while I'm not really convinced about the Trunk, need to think about it, even considering future expenditures.
  7. It's nice to hear you again and see your new update Hogwarts is taking form and coming alive more and more with any new video! As for the courtyard details, benches could be a really simple add, mainly in the outside part; and minifigures, obviosuly. In the OotP Game in courtyards you can play Gobstone (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (PS3, X360, PC, Wii) 100% Gobstones Championship! - YouTube), maybe you can add students in the corner of the garden playing it (I think Gobstone could simply be coloured Plate, Round 1x1). Maybe for the inside part you can try to add some lights: wall torches built with telescope (64644) and plume (64647)? I fear there's no enough space to put some of the big stone braziers that there are next to the Great Hall door, but maybe you can build a minimal version that occupy only 2x2 studs and put it at the corners. See you soon, have fun and take your time
  8. I've just received a similar message about an order of the 1st of February. It's surprinsing because I didn't even expect something before the first half of March . And they're message has no sense at all! They say: "We were unable to ship your order with the usual speed" ... oh, well, my former order was placed on 12th of December and sent with the usual speed on the 25th of January "Our team did everything possible... B&P takes approximately 5-6 weeks" ... yeah, i know, so why are you texting me when passed only 10 days after i placed my order? I suppose this is a standard message they're sending to nearly everyone. Isn't it?
  9. So, in a few days we're going to have minimal description of summer sets, aren't we? Have I understood well?
  10. I would wait to know if the contradiction applies to HP theme and, most important, how
  11. We must not forget, though, that in 2020 regular sets were based on OotP (Room of Requirement and Forbidden Forest) and HBP (Astronomy Tower and Attack on the Burrow), but there was also the CoS 4 Privet Drive. So, I would not be shocked in seeing a wave based on PoA and GoF, but with a set from PS or CoS. Talking about Hagrid's Hut remake, in my opinion more and more possible the more time passes (in this new reboot of the series we haven't had regular Hagrid untill now, just the gold one, and in 2021 he appears only in the very expensive Diagon Alley set), there are not so few scenes that LEGO could represented: - PS: Birth of Norbert(a) (Dragon Egg/Baby Norbert + Fang with Hagrid, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco); - CoS: Hagrid's arrest (Hagrid, Dumbledore, Caramell, Lucius, Harry and Ron + Fang + a little outside part with spiders); - PoA: Buckbeak's Rescue (a pure remake of the 2020 set); - OotP Hagrid confronts with Umbridge (Hagrid, Umbridge, Harry, Ron, Hermione) - HBP: The last memory (Harry, Hagrid, Slughorn + Fang + Aragog) - HPB: Attack on Hagrid's Hut (Hagrid, Harry, Draco, Bellatrix, Snape and a Deatheater); I don't remember other main scenes with Hagrid's Hut (but it's a long time since I watched the movies the last time) and I'm not saying all of these scenes are equally likely (I would eliminate the pure remake, for example) or equally enjoyable, but there's material at least for 5 Hagrid's Hut sets .
  12. My personal squirrel hunt has just ended (I hope so ), at least for the red one (6384077), but black (6384078) and grey (6390506) one are less important for me. It's available in Italy, at least for now, considering that yesterday was available only from 10 to 11 o'clock in the morning. Unluckily no dark orange horse (6370297), so I bought a second sand yellow one (6343565) but I managed to purchase the turtle (6386219) and some sheeps (6342625) plus some other minor pieces. Sometimes looking for pieces on B&P can be exhausting, especially when you see on BrickLink stores with hundreds or thousand of sheeps and dozens of squirrel. Unluckily I also have to work and I have only little spare time for chasing squirrels
  13. Yeah, very very Lockhart :D
  14. It’s bewitched to look like the sky outside. I read about it in Hogwarts: A History. Finally, with the roof, Hogwarts students, professors and staff will be able to have their meals without the soups being diluted by the rain and their clothes becoming soaked So beautiful the view from the Corridor to the Entrance Hall window. I suppose you will put the Architect Statue below the window. Very good
  15. Lockhart portrait... a must in Hogwarts during CoS. I remember a secret room in Flitwick Skurgify Challenge with a Lockhart portrait. And me and my brother used to ask each other for what strange case Flitwick hid a Lockhart portrait in there. Very nice!
  16. I don't know if this is the right place to write my questions: 1) I've just received a message from LEGO saying they had problems with my last payment. They suggest me to see my order status online and contact the customer care service. But my order status says "Shipped" and all of the pieces I purchaed have "Shipped" as a status. Have you ever front this situation? 2) I'm preparing a new order with some pieces I'm interesting in. Now, some of them are "Out of Stock", what would happened if I purchase them? Will LEGO remove them from my order? Thanks
  17. I don't remember if I had already said it, but I think you really managed to catch the vibe of those PC games and transfigure it in LEGO form. Great work Even if latter PC games are more movie faithful (too much, if yuo ask me), I preferred and still prefer the earlier ones, particularly PS and CoS. I find them more magic and surprising .
  18. I don't know if this could give relief to someone, but my B&P order status has just changed to Shipped. I paid the order on 12th of December.
  19. “Oh, and keep an eye on the staircases. They like to change...” Nice to see your building update again. I think you're doing a really great work. Oh, well, I knew that the Grand Staircase Tower was big, but I didn't imagine sooooooooo big . A challenging challenge! I can't wait to see how you'll build it, but take your time!
  20. Very, very nice. Interesting how you realised the flask. Your making me growing the desire of pulling the game out of the cupboard and playing it again! Flipendo!
  21. It was Marcos Bessa, answering a question on Instagram last year in April. "The “grated” plate is cheaper and allows me as a designer to include other details in the model instead of having to pay more for a regular plate that would do basically the same job".
  22. For what we've seen until now, I wouldn't bet on LEGO remaking these sets. In this new reboot, we have only two major locations that are remakes of the previous edition: Great Hall, that appears in the Great Hall 2018 set and in the Chamber of Secrets 2021 set; Infirmary and Clock Tower that appear in the Clock Tower 2019 set and in the Infirmary 2022 set. But in neither case LEGO has remade the same scene, just the same location. Said that, I think that you should also consider the availability of these sets in the secondary market. If you want them, it wouldn't be nice if LEGO didn't make them and you couldn't buy them. Just my two cents.
  23. It's always a pleasure to see your progress in this building. In the end, I suppose you could put a statue depicting you near the Hogwarts architect one . If building with LEGO is a lot about fantasy and considering fantasy is at home in Hogwarts, why don't use fantasy to fill all the empty places within the well recognizable Hogwarts architecture? A long sentence just to say that I like that you personalised Hogwarts adding Jafar and his hideout. It's a nice easter egg... is he plotting to take the control of the school or is he just the new alchemy professor ? I wish you a happy new year and a good time building with LEGO .
  24. Well, this a reason to use grilles instead than baseplate, but this doesn't appear to be the reason for LEGO to use them as you can read in this message from the old thread.
