  1. A masterpiece of LEGO civil engineering and design! Really well done!
  2. Not to mention what the Love Potion basically is.
  3. I had not a real choice cause I had already bought Grimmauld Place (at the moment only half built) and Thestral carriage in June, in order to get the Forest Hideout GWP. And having decided that Sirius escape doesn't not worth his price, I bought Dumbledore Office and Shrieking Shack.
  4. Just to keep every HP custom MOC in this thread, I put here the link to my Hogwarts Library MOC. [MOC] Hogwarts Library - LEGO Licensed - Eurobricks Forums Cheers
  5. Very, very nice And I also appreciate a lot your Battle of 7 Potter building, your modular Hogsmeade Village and all your funny vignettes. I particularly enjoyed your custom goat and Dobby, a model elf for S.P.E.W. .
  6. Thanks @drewdotexe and yes, my main references fom this MOC were PS and CoS movies and PC games. For example the central scene (left table with Ernie MacMillan talking with other Hufflepuff students about Dark Harry and right table with Ginny studying) is taken from CoS movie. While on the right you have a scene taken from PS: the Rescricted Section with Harry under his Invisible Cloack. @uPawelek you make me blush with your strong appreciation for my Library! Thank you very much. I have no doubt that HP1 PC game vibe is very strong in you and I'm so happy you appreciate it so much. That's something I will never cease to be amazed by: when, in the end, after a long time passed imagining, projecting, buying pieces, wait for them to arrive and mark the ones you have and the ones you miss, building... .. in the end you have your MOC in front of you and you feel happy and satisfied. It's like having find a treasure, having build a treasure
  7. This time getting the GWP was immediate: I made my order just one or to minutes after midnight and the Staircase GWP and Polybag appeared immediately in the cart (the last time with 40567_Forest Hideout I had two wait more than an hour to be sure of having get the GWP ). I bought Dumbledore's Office and the Shrieking Shack Now I just miss the Ministry of Magic (but unfortunately I will have no time to enjoy all the sets until middle August ) In the end I decided to not buy the Hogwarts Express (too expensive, but I can't wait to see how it looks like), the Hungarian Horntail (not my cup of tea) and Sirius Rescue (in my opinion too few pieces for too much money and, in general, a set with no interesting things for me to justify the price). Have a nice day and if you'd like pass here [MOC] Hogwarts Library - LEGO Licensed - Eurobricks Forums and give me your opinion on my Hogwarts Library MOC.
  8. Thanks @ZeLuiz08 and @Feuer Zug for your comments!
  9. IMG_3896 by Brick Matit, su Flickr Waiting for the arriving of the official Madam Pince, from 76402_Dumbledore's Office set that I've not bought yet, my custom Madam Pince is pleased to welcome you into her own kingdom: the Hogwarts Library. This project is my own tribute to the Hogwarts Library. As for the appearance, rooms built and scenes depicted I got clues here and there, but my main references come from the Philosopher Stone and Chamber of Secrets movies and from Philosopher Stone PC game. All the rest is up to my imagination! What I wanted to achieve was created something that could evoke the magical atmosphere of the first Harry Potter sets from 2001 and 2002, but that could match well with the modern sets. I must say I'm really satisfied. This MOC has more than 3.000 pieces and every section is fully removable. IMG_3909 by Brick Matit, su Flickr Tell me what you think and if you manage to recognise every reference! On my Flickr page you can find much more images.
  10. Not sure if this can help you... I've made my order some minutes after midnight even if the Forest Hideout GWP wasn't in my bag (ok, not the most intelligent thing to do, I admit). In the mail I received with the order confirmation the GWP is in. I hope there will not be problems. Try at your own risk
  11. @ZeLuiz08 I find your improvements really interesting. A very good work!
  12. @uPawelek Your buildings are always so inspired One can immediately see your passion for HP PC games. Your small parts are really good Well done!
  13. Finally some life in the castle (besides Jafar hidden in the basement ). The courtyard scene with Trelawney is a good choice (I don't really remember other main interesting scenes taking place in this location ). Maybe with some other minifigures would be better. Funny the different characters in the cloister. I don't think it's too crowded. For the Entrance Hall I would suggest you the "Soporific Cakes" scene from Chamber of Secrets, with Harry and Ron hidden behind the architect's stuatue and Crabbe and Goyle. In the Great Hall I think that a good scene would be the Harry Sorting Ceremony.
  14. Very nice and lovely the fact you put the original paintings :) This is a very good work. I really like it. Rain in Yaxley office is really well done and I appreciate details in your MOC.
  15. Really, why they would? I mean, if we imagine that LEGO had produced Gringotts last year, why a completist collector or a fan shouldn't buy Grimmauld Place or the Ministry of Magic this year? In my opinion this would be totally senseless! In the same way, how not having a Gringotts set could affect people in buying set they don't like or don't want?
  16. Just considering the most prominent scenes in the saga, I would say PS or DHII: when the journey began and when it ended. Out of curiosity, @Seaber do you remember all the scenes from the movie? I hardly remember what I ate yesterday, but that's me
  17. Oh my... I've been busy for the last four days and obviously I missed the official release and now I have tons of messages to read! Starting with the last news (later, maybe, I will have time to share my first impressions with new sets). For what I understand we have a not surely reliable leaker saying the 470$ set is Hogwarts Express + Station and the very reliable @Falconfan1414 saying we won't have Gringott. So, at the moment, we could expect no Gringott this year. And that's all I was between those who believed a 470$ train could be possible (and I still believe it could be possible), but hey even a broken clock is right twice a day If this rumour will be confirmed, I will most likely pass. It would be interesting, however, imagining the rumour is true, thinking about how the set could be and what characters could appear. Really, if LEGO had decided to do something special I wouldn't exclude the 19 years later scene.
  18. A very nice and inspired MOC! Pleasant and with fine details like the white rabbit camouflaged in the snow near the tree or the white bird over the forest creature on the right (this is a Woodling, I suppose). I really like it and the lines of text you wrote to accompany it!
  19. Wow, very interesting table. Considering customization possibilities, I would say the most important missing characters are Kreacher, Fang and Rita Skeeter, plus inflated Marge. The other characters could be made, in an acceptable way, with existing part I suppose (of course, I would be happy seeing them made by LEGO ). Looking at my custom minifigures I still miss Narcissa, Fang, Rita, Kreacher, Marge, Helena Ravenclaw and Winky.
  20. Yes, no idea is my own idea too ... that's why I made the question
  21. Changing topic, whenever we talks about the 120$ set, I read about GoF suggestions (like Durmstrang Ship) or OoP suggestions (like Grimmauld Place). But supposing the 120$ set is a HBP or DH one and it isn't Gringotts, there's something else you can imagine for this set?
  22. I've seen this rumour on Instragram... from the same that said the 470$ set is "76205 Gringott with white Dragon and one other shop". But 76205 is already a set (Gargantos Showdown), so I wouldn't believe him.
  23. That's a bomb news... ... if it's the case, people that complains cause LEGO don't give us DH sets ... can start complaining cause LEGO give us only one DH set! And there is also a bet regarding DH set, even if I don't remember very well... But I see that @THELEGOBATMAN remember it very very well
  24. You managed to come up with a very beautiful model!
