I need time to collect ideas . For now I will say Lego Harry Potter 76433 - 579 Pieces - $69.99 Hog's Head Lego Harry Potter 76435 - 1732 Pieces - $199.99 Survey Burrow with less pieces? This year there wasn't a supposed Knight Bus voice? Lego Harry Potter 76440 - 1229 Pieces - $139.99 It's likely the new main castle section. I would say Hogwarts Great Hall and Grand Staicase Tower.

The survey, if I remember well, had the porpuse to match supposed sets to prices customers would have been willing to pay. Maybe, looking at survey results, they had to reduce price and so even pieces.

My 3 favourite sets for 2023 were: 1) 2nd Task, what a remake. I can't say anything bad about this set. 2) Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, apart for the meaningless post office. A good way to make more affordable a colourful and playful location with Fred and George, two appreciate characters. 3) Gringot Ts Bank , even if it was a bit delusional for me, cause I would have prefered a different set, with only the upper side of the bank, but LEGO went with an adult collector set with the so adult black box, so I understand why they produced both upper and lower side of the bank. Not a failure set, in the end, but not in my . Average sets RoR and The Battle of Hogwarts. At the bottom of my list Hogwarts Banners, not so interesting considering their price, and the new Hogwarts Express, in my opinion too kiddish. And I hate the fact they don't produced a quidditch Cho in line with past quidditch outfit. I like capes and I would have appreciated a full ravenclaw team with blue capes. I like the fact they try to both satisfy long term collectors, with new locations, characters and variants and mould, and new entrie kids and collectors. Happy new year to everyone!

Castle Owlery and Boathouse sets are adviced on LEGO.com as "the first in an upcoming series of modular sets (sold separately) that connect to create the most detailed LEGO® brick-built Hogwarts™ Castle scene ever". So they're not intended to be paired with the 2021-2023 Hogwarts castle, but with a new Hogwarts dispay. And considering the Great Hall is a central and iconic location in Hogwarts we can easily assume we'll see a new one sooner rather than later. I don't know when the Great Hall actually sold, wtih Chamber of Secrets, will end its life, but I wouldn't be surprsied to see a new Great Hall in 2024 summer.

Portraits inclusion in the new wave of sets make me think that maybe LEGO is going to create (or already created) a proper space in which hang them, like the Gryffindor Dormitory GWP for Wizard Cards. And considering that LEGO describe Owlery and Boat House as the first sets in an "upcoming series of modular sets (sold separately) that connect to create the most detailed LEGO® brick-built Hogwarts™ Castle scene ever" I think that a future new Great Hall could be paired with Grand Staircase Tower (both of course essential in a most detailed Hogwarts).

I think you did a very good job. No more Gringot TS Bank have a good building time! When I built Diagon Alley with my brother we spent a week on it. By the way, there's a reason for that horrible sticker? I've thought that maybe there's a margin of error in the printing, so the letters have to be some millimeters away from the edge and this create the empy space. Anyway, I haven't bought the set yet, but I hope to manage to obtain a good result when building mine.

Well, just as ideas, I think there's space for other sets as @BrickBob Studpants suggested. Considering buildings, in the long time I think Great Hall with Gran Staircase Tower and Grimmauld Place could received the D2C treatment. A set I'd like to see is a Leaky Cauldron compatible with Diagon Alley, with the entrance to the Magic World and a section of street from the Muggle World. Unfortunately, considering that Diagon Alley could reach its end of life in 2024 (I don't remember where I've read it) and the new possible Diagon Alley style (last WWW shop set), I don't see so likely.

In general, not all current Harry Potter LEGO fans, both kids or adult, was necessarily fan when the former Hagrid's Hut was on sale. And the former set retired in 2021. Supposing Harry Potter is an evergreen theme, it's unavoidable have remakes. And Hagrid and his hut are, in my opinion, iconic enough to be proposed again. LEGO until now have done a good job, in my opinion, in covering the theme, and with no pure remakes (same location with same scene and carachters depicted). In any case, for the future, LEGO can't simply work only for people who are into the theme since 2018. I think that we could see not so far from today a new Great Hall (just a guess, not a leak ) Secondly, and I know it can seen as like as splitting hair, the new hut should be the Philosopher Stone building (and Chamber of Secrets) and it's not the same as the Prisoner of Azkaban one. The scene depicted may not be considered mind-blowing, but it will have Fang (never done before) and Norbert (last appearance in 2010). Who knows, maybe LEGO will give us also new outfits variants for Hagrid, Harry, Ron and Hermione. And Fang has not so many places in which it could appears apart Hagrid's Hut and Forbidden Forest scenes (maybe in future we may see Fang again in a Aragog's Lair set, but it would be another remake, or Forbidden Forest Detention set). Personal considerations: Hagrid's hut was my first Harry Potter set in 2001 and I played a lot with my sister and brother. Hagrid, furthermore, is one of my favourite carachters in the books and movies and his hut one of my favourite locations. I appreciate the fact that other fans can have their Hagrid's Hut. This set give me positive vibes. Of course, the fact of buying it or not will depends on the final result. In the end, it all depends on how everyone approach the theme, what one looks for in a set and so on. These are just my two cents

My list is not so different from yours. 7) Sorting Hat I'm not interest in set meant only to be exposed or similar, so Sorting Hat is my least favorite set of the wave. While I saw some people commenting positively, imagining that other sets from that famous survey will come in future, I don't think that the fact Sorting Hat is being produced strongly affectes in some way the others. Of course, I'm ready to be surprised with a Medieval Village remake and The Burrow, but at the moment I keep my expectation very low. 6) Privet Drive Sign with Hedwig Same considerations as the former point, but with a plus: this set could be a good gift in the future for my sister. So I'll probably end up buying it. 5) Flying Ford Anglia Already having three Ford Anglia (2001, 2018 and 2020) I'm not so interest in this set, but I've read too much negative comments on it. [General thoughts you can skip ON] Of course, people that collect (nearly) everything about LEGO Harry Potter since 2018, like me, would had prefer something else. But it's not the end of the world. It seems to me that Harry Potter is a good selling theme for LEGO and I don't see them putting an end to it. In a long term, remakes are unavoidable and some sets will be nearly always be remade in some shape (Great Hall, Hagrid's Hut, Hogwarts Express...). Untill now, in my opinion, LEGO has managed to produced interesting sets, even some remakes, and I hope they will continue on this path. [General thoughts you can skip off OFF] My thought on this set: - It's a low price set and, in my opinion, it's a good thing. Not everything with a LEGO mark on it has to stay behind an high price barrier. - Kids (at least me as a kid) and some adults too have enough fantasy to play and be satisfied with this set. Ford Anglia is a car, obviously, but for a Harry Potter fan is not just a car, but a funny and important lore element in Chamber of Secrets. - Ford Anglia could be easily paired as a set (and as a gift) with Hogwarts Express, Hagrid's Hut and an hypotetical The Burrow set too. - LEGO could put in it a specific outfit variants for Harry and Ron and these could be reused in the hypotetical The Burrow set too. Probably I won't buy it for me, but maybe as a gift. 4 & 3) Owlery and Boat House/Arrival at Hogwarts are interesting choiches but self-explaning enough :) Boat House matches well with Philosopher Stone flavour we can taste in summer 2023 and march 2024 (Hogwarts Express, Hagrid's Hut, Sorting Hat, Privet Drive Sign with Hedwig, partially even Gringotts) and, in general, first three years at Hogwarts (Flying Ford Anglia, Dobby, Expecto Patronum, Forbidden Forest). Minifigures won't be so interesting, but I'd like to see the general appeareance of the set. As for the Owlery, I expect a bunch of owl in different colour and shape. I remember only the Cho & Harry scene located in there in the 4th movie. Nice they put Filch, taken from the 5th book scene with Cho & Harry. 2) Forbidden Forest: Magical Creatures is really intriguing. The reference should be the Care of Magical Creatures lesson from Prisoner of Azkaban. I didn't buy Sirius Escape set with the Buckbeak variant (the only regular set I missed since 2018) and likely that variant will be in this new set. I can't wait to see this set. Will they put a different colour hippogriff with Buckbeak (I don't remember whatt colour is in the 3 book the creature Ron and Hermione work with)? Or the leakers know only that there will be a hippogrif and assume it's Buckbeak? I really don't know what to expectate... exciting. 1) Hagrids Hut should be the main dish and I strongly hope so. There's so much for me in this set! A lot of good memories... Hagrid's Hut was my first Harry Potter set: a Christmas gift for me, my sister and little brother with Hogwarts Express and Final Challenge in 2001. In last two years I bought on Bricklink all sets that I had missed in 2001 and 2002 (and there were a lot), but a special link with my first sets is always here! And, finally, Fang! I've expect it since 2001. And Norbert! Having a new Hagrid variant would be cool (in that scene he wears an apron) as well as trio outfits variants.

I've just seen a rumour on IG (mtdbricks) suggesting that one of the 2024 March set would be Hagrid's Hut remake. Fingers crossed for finally having Fang. And I'd like a new version of Hagrid. Not many scenes possible, if I remember well the movie: - Norbert birth, with Hagrid, trio and Malfoy; - Hagrid's arrest, with Hagrid, Harry and Ron, Fudge, Lucius and Dumbledore; - Aragog funeral, with Hagrid, Harry and Slughorn; Unless they went with a pure remake of the past Hagrid's Hut set with Buckbeak's Rescue.

I'm going to buy the Hogwarts Express and Hogsmeade Station and the Thestral Carriage. I've seen a rumour on IG (mtdbricks) that one of the march 2024 sets woulb be a Ford Anglia remake.

The GWP 40598.Gringotts Dungeon appeared on LEGO site. The threshold should be 130€ of Harry Potter products (this in the last Promobricks article I've read). If this would be the case, I will postpone Gringotts set purchase waiting for a better occasion and buying something else.

The Brickmerge text says 3 vaults, so it would rule out all the main books and movies vaults (Philospher Stone's, Harry's and Bellatrix's vaults). In the book Harry sees also the Weasley's vault, in Chamber of Secrets, but this is nearly empty, so it wouldn't be a good GWP; and is just cited Sirius' vault in Prisoner of Azkaban. Anyway, is it confirmed that the GWP is a vault or is Gringott's related?

Not putting Lestrange vault in a Deathly Hallows based Gringotts would mean an incomplete set on his own. I suppose the GWP vault would more likely be one from the Philosopher's Stone book/movie.

It's impossible to say from just a single set, but I think that's could be an idea. Anyway I don't think they will produced the same locations as the Diagon Alley set, but I wouldn't rule out new sets to complete a different an smaller Diagon Alley display. Imagining this case, I would say that Leaky Cauldron, Ollivander's, Borgin and Burkes and Gringotts could be the chosen locations.
