  1. Fireman Sam very progressive show inter racial couple, single mom,...female firefighter... Back on topic...good theory on sign posts in reverse we got the garage then the tow truck so maybe there is something there maybe a campground next year to go with the camper?
  2. To be fair the only sets that piece appears in are all made for little kids just getting out of Duplo and into real Lego
  3. As long as the line continues, I can see them releasing a mini modular set every couple of years as soon as there's enough to make a street. As soon as a fourth corner building is released i think we'll see another set.
  4. Very interesting, I'd like to see your whole chart. I'm fine with all the city figs, because thats pretty much all I build.
  5. Just got mine super excited for the build
  6. I use an app on my android phone called lego scans. seems to work pretty well for me the pictures are mostly all clear and crisp.
  7. So I just looked at the new pictures from the New York Toyfair, and I have to say the new city sets are great. My only issue is that nothing really wows me and makes me need to run out and by it. The cargo plane and coast guard ship are probably the closest. I really like that Advent calander though that is a must buy for me and the boys for christmas.
  8. Okay I guess no one wants to answer...Yes to gas pumps!! The stock in the store looks fantastic as usual.
  9. ...maybe you should sit down... All kidding aside I would make the Taj Mahal, so I wouldn't have to shell out upwards of $2000 to get it for my girlfriend. I love her just not quite that much...
  10. Leela cracked corn and bender is great take that you stupid corn!
  11. I think it's the biggest non story I've seen in a long time.
  12. o0o0o0o0o0o Love the door. Considered using something like that on my fire station. Your buildings are always fantastic, can't wait to see more.
  13. As a gigantic Futurama fan, I'd have to say the only thing that's missing are some owls roaming the sidewalks. Calculon and the Slurm truck are great details.
  14. I'm not really concerned with buying two 10233's, I know think okay maybe I'll get two... . What I'm really concerned with is the extra cost of powering it. I think 10218 might win out due to cost. 21010 is so pretty though.
  15. LT, I love your little shops, you're always able to pack in so little details on the shelves, can't wait to see the surprise!
  16. So with the tax returns coming I'll have a little extra money left over and I'm going to spend it on what else, Lego! I'm down to three choices, the Horizon Express, Pet Shop, or Robie House. Pet Shop would look great with my Fire Brigade and is probably be discontinued soon. The Horizon Express would get me back into Lego trains. The Robie House I'm just in love with and all the dark red would help with my fire station pipe dream MOC that I've been planning for months. So here's my options, what do I buy? Is the extra cost of track and motors worth the extra money for the Horizon Express? Is the Pet Shop as beautiful as it loos in pictures? Is the Robie House worth it as a display piece that may end up just being dismantled for the lovely dark red bricks and tiles? Tell me oh wise Eurobricks community which should I buy? I would get the Fire Brigade, it was also my first modular and it looks fantastic. Full disclosure, I'm a fire buff so I'm a little biased.
  17. Great use if the tape printed tile for the tank!
  18. I'm a delivery dispatcher for a mail order pharmacy (Omnicare) that provides medication to various nursing homes and Rehab facilities in eastern and central Massachusetts. I'm currently trying to get on the fire department, but it's not looking so hot at the moment.
  19. That's pretty much exactly why I don't use them anymore.
  20. I tried Ziploc bags and I wasn't happy with it. The only thing was it didn't take as much space as my new boxes. I might try a combination or both for when I start the storage phase. Sorting is a blast though
  21. I'd go with option 3 would look like a nice big city headquarters. Don't forget a mechanics bay to fix the broken down trucks. Our ladder company is almost 20 years old and we always have to use the spare truck;)
  22. I'm so stealing that design for the atm:)
  23. I used to date a girl from Wellesley, seen that tower many times looks great!
  24. The monorail looks fantastic probably my favorite so far
  25. Yeah it's pretty ambitious, I've finished all the basic stuff (bricks, slopes, tiles, plates) just recently and I came to roughly 13000 parts. I'm moving to wedges, printed pieces and translucents next. The crazy parts is going to be the minifig accessories and whatnot. I'll try and post a screenshot of my sheet soon.
