I saw the new cement truck, tow truck, octan truck, and helicopter arrest at the Lego store near my house yesterday (Burlington, MA)

A truck stop is my is my unicorn, about 5 years ago i rebuilt 6346, 6348, and, 6335 and I've wanted to make a truck stop for them but it just hasn't gotten off the ground. a whole new divers theme would be fantastic! I'd love to see new city type research boats and shipwrecks. Although I still think that's a tough theme because you need 2 levels of play (underwater and above) I'd love to see a re-release of this set: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6543-1 in the current city scale.

I like this idea should save me some money to get a full set. Where can I buy a full box? The Lego store near my house told me their policy was only to sell individual bags (I can buy as many as I can but they wouldn't sell me a whole box)

Just out of curiosity, why no digital entries?

Love that train!!

Looks good thought it would be about 2 studs longer but it looks really well done. Now can I undress the tiger? (continuing Barbie girl not sexual harassment)
-
Can I undress you everywhere?

Very similar to what I was thinking lt can't wait to see it in the flesh...errr plastic

Wow just wow the renderings must take as long as building in this metropolis you have

I don't know how they do it in the land of oz but here in the states most public works trucks have a trailer with a compressor unit normally pulled by a small dump truck like this http://ts4.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.4650376696564023&pid=15.1&H=160&W=160

That's what I was thinking hover over the tag and see what its for.

That roof is awesome! I'm not familiar with the source material, but it looks great, the mech almost looks cute. And kind of reminds me of the mechs from the T.V show Falling Skies

Hey no problem It's those little things I love in the details, who would have thought it wasn't done because there's no compressor? Can't wait to see more, if I had some to spare I'd paypal you some cash just to see the finished product take form.

Hello all, Especially staff, whom this is directed to, I have 2 quick questions. 1) Is there a way to tell what the various tags mean under the usernames? The ones with text are fairly obvious i.e "moc expert" but some I can't even figure out what they possibly mean i.e . I'm asking on sheer curiosity not looking for any for myself. 2) I seem to remember that in the profiles you were able to see your posts per day, but I can't seem to find it since the update. Is it gone or can I just not find it?

Just noticed theres a typo on that booklet, 4432 is actually the garbage truck, and 4433 is the dirt bike transporter.

Looking good as always LT, for some reason I really like the jackhammer in the last picture.

Looks really good, can;t wait to see what else you have up your sleeve for this. Love the chairs, so simple and no question what they are. I'm also a sucker for swim up bars...both in Lego and in real life . I love seeing how people create swimmers in water with taking the arms off and using just legs to create the illusion of a diver, you really hit the mark on that one!

Like LT said great mish mash of parts to create something that looks very uniform. The setting of the house looks like such a stereotypical computer geek. Love it! Is that a snake escaping from the yellow cabinet?

MOC : 4 stud wide vehicles using 2012 Lego Shell Polybag parts
tomdobs55 replied to paanjang16's topic in LEGO Town
Great mods "paanjang" Really love seeing 4 wide cars making a comeback. It's nice to see "regular" cars and not specialized vehicles like police, fire and construction, really livens up a town. -
Wow! That's really all I can say...okay I can say more. Just saw the airport for the first time then stumbled on this topic, and I must say amazing. My favorite part has to be the fact that you remember Lego is meant for play, with playability being a big factor in your layout. I can't wait to see finished pics. Your photography is great by the way.

Adults not allowed! - LEGOLand Discovery Centres
tomdobs55 replied to happymark's topic in General LEGO Discussion
many of the children-focused places around Boston have a similar policy. -
I agree with this one especially when these "slick" tires are on PAB at my local stores, but the dolly is nice can't have too many but it would be nice to see it in another color
