  1. Very well done, looks just like the computer I had growing up. How did you make the monitor?
  2. I think it's not so much that the fire sets are bad its just an over saturation of them, along with police. But hey they know what little boys want. My son for instance wants all of them solely because it's fire. I personally like the new station house. As to the torsos and minifigs in general i want a black torso with a bunker gear pattern and black helmets, and white helmets for chief (it's what we wear on my department). Still don't like the motorcycle though. Reason for edit: looking back at the post saw wayyy too many errors, barely made sense.
  3. Yep looks nice. Simple and effective, my 2 favorite things when it comes to MOCs
  4. LT, you are everywhere! I like the truck a lot, I can see the inspiration from the new garbage truck. I'd love to MOC mine a little and make some sort of dump truck but my son won't let me (I'm 26 and my 4 year old bosses me around...ahh parenting). Anyway the addition of the tool chest looks wonderful. I'll check out the trailer in the other topic.
  5. Oh my god!! I am floored by this! It's downright incredible. I don't even know where to start. The coastguard HQ looks stunning, is there an interior? The way you extended the marina is great I love the double doors and the added door in the back. Creating a set of stairs to make the cafe actually accessible (to minifigs at least) is a great idea and very well done. I love the towels, shower, and sand castles on the beach. Extending the marina to the pavement looks phenomenal!! The addition of a rental space for jet skis and whatnot is very creative. Honestly I thought you were crazy and wasting time and bricks (and money) doing the 1x1 rounds on the water, but the effect seems well worth the effort! I think that small (large?) detail is my favorite part. Absolutely stunning, I can't wait to see what else is to come. WOW! Just wow.
  6. Yeah I've never seen anything like it either, I'm loving the excavator after seeing the Flickr stuff, I don't know what it is but I'm just loving it. It looks great with the unimog you have. I love your snow trucks too.
  7. Not crazy about the tipper, a little boring if you ask me, but the Excavator is very well done. I like the tracks a lot.
  8. Wow I haven't looked much into friends yet looks like some great moc stuff in those sets. I like the 1x2's because I feel like everything is 2x2 tiles for floors its refreshing to see something different
  9. Absolutely stunning :Hoexbroe" what a great interior! I really like that you used 1x2 tiles on the floor, looks unique. What is that yellow piece on the counter that looks like a cupcake or muffin wrapper?
  10. Cute, simple and effective. Looks authentic too!
  11. I can try that unfortunately thw only camera I have is on my phone (HTC evo 3d) but I can try to put all the known colors I have and try a picture that way. Thanks for the replies it's a big help.
  12. Well then nice to know. Seems like a european thing, never seem them in the states, but we like our motorcycles to go fast and be loud...none of this utility stuff
  13. I'm confused as to the fire bike. I have never heard of a motorcycle being used on the fire department here in the United States, and I've been around the fire department my whole life. Maybe it's a European/Asian thing?
  14. Very nice little townhouse I love when interiors have a story/action in them. The toilet was very clever.
  15. How does Lego Identify colors on the bricks? I have a blue 1x4 plate and on the underside is the model number. (3710) There's also 2 other numbers, in this case 2 and 58. Does anyone know what the numbers stand for? I looked them up on the official color guide on bricklink but they don't match. I'm cataloging all my bricks in a spreadsheet and want to use the colors from bricklink, but I'm not familiar with the differences between the sand blue, light blue, and just regular blue. Also the grays (bluish gray, dark bluish gray, old gray, new gray, yadda yadda yadda) Pictures attached for reference. If someone could tell me what the mystery color is and where to find what color a piece is i would be very greatful!
  16. I know its not Lego, I'm not sure if this is the right place but I need some help. I have a ton of these black plates in various sizes (2x2, 2x4, 2x6, 1x2, 1x6, etc) and I want to know what set they're from. If i remember correctly, they were in a set that was a big stealth fighter or bomber. It had missiles and a pilot and was from sometime in the 90's. A Google search is turning up nothing. I want to know what set it was so I can figure out roughly how many pieces I'm going to run into. I think its Mega Bloks but I'm not sure, there's no markings on them whatsoever. Pictures added for reference. EDIT: giant pictures....also couldn't find the missiles (swore I saw one earlier) but they were white and about 6 studs long with 2 studs on top. If this is the wrong place, my bad please move and whatnot.
  17. Love it! The brick technique is amazing, I'd love to steal it. If you could post some close ups of it or describe how you did it I would love to use it for a MOC I'm working on right now.
  18. Where's the Brattleboro Museum? Maybe the other stuff with your plaza will be up to par, and worth the trip if it's far.
  19. Cute pretty in pink flowers on the roof look good
  20. I still don't know how I feel about friends yet, but this MOC is amazing! The landscape is just...WOW!... I love the camera too, so simple but unique at the same time.
  21. wow that is amazing! I love the designs of the the trees. Those small details along with the bench and light is very impressive.
  22. For some reason the car bugs me. I don't know what it is but something just seems "off" about it, it seems too long. But overall I like the set. I do like the glider, something different in a Lego airport.
  23. they're all fantastic! I wish I had entered but I was too busy sorting . Anyway... gid617 1 point dr_spock_888 1 point CorneliusMurdock 1 point
  24. so much chrome... really well done. I love the rear wheels and how well it seems to fit as a minifig scale truck. Looks very authentic. Great work.
