Teroch-class Mandalorian Cruiser (ship concept by FractalSponge)
Stuartn replied to JorstadDesigns's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow! There's so much to absorb, so many great details, its a wonderful build. Although I am not familiar with the in-universe ship, this being the first time hearing of it, it looks amazing and a great job getting an interior into such a differently shaped ship.- 24 replies

Train stuff on Ideas getting approved? Forget it!
Stuartn replied to Tube Map Central's topic in LEGO Train Tech
The Santa Fe (and a couple of carriage sets) was released in the early 2000s, but I think it may have been rereleased. The Great Northern was an Ideas submission in a similar (but updated) style to the Santa Fe that achieved support, but unfortunately it didn't pass review. -
42139 - All-terrain Vehicle
Stuartn replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Just finished building mine, I have to say, it is a great little set, to be honest I didn't have the greatest expectations for it but it is quite a nice model and is aesthetically better than I expected, and slightly bigger too. I am going to do some of the modifications proposed in this thread, especially to the chainsaw component. -

Anyone noticed how those figures are in front of an 18+ box, it could be nothing but it seems strange. On another note: this is absolutely incredibly brilliantly amazingly superbly spectacularly greatly wonderfully good. If this is true this will be a great addition to the SW line. -
Thank you. A figbarf is a collection of usually customised or modified figures. The term was originally used by AFOLs who become sick of seeing many MOCs primarily consisting of custom or generic figures, and therefore the term fig-barf come about, a portmanteau of minifigure and 'barf' (meaning vomit due to the unwanted proliferation of these MOCs). However the term become prominent as a regular MOCing term as it was picked up by AFOLs and used as a descriptive term

Hi all, Something I have noticed about Lego - and figbarfing in particular - is how most attention on minifigures is constrained to Star Wars, castle and other licensed or action themes. There are few Lego City/Town figbarfs. So, I decided to rectify this by building them myself. Here is the first grouping: Postage workers, with a modified Lego City mail plane. Thank you for viewing. If these are popular, there will be more in weeks to come.

How many variations for the Lego box worldwide?
Stuartn replied to ks6349's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The US box has name, ID number, parts, age rating, and some other numbers I think, whereas traditionally the EU/Asia-Pacific box has just the age rating and ID number. I have noticed that the Australian boxes now have set names etc. so I don’t know whether this has occurred overseas too. -

I am surprised there is no pre-order for the N1 which is on the Australian site, I would have expected the US site to have it as it normally does. -

$100.00 for the N1. Now you have to be kidding me. For 412 pieces, that's 24 cents a piece. I get PPP ratio isn't always accurate but when the TIE fighter has 20 more pieces, an equal number of new figures and cost $30 dollars less, something is seriously wrong. That said, I need that wedge plate piece to complete my inthert's N1, and this is its first appearance in fully LBG I believe, and there are some other useful parts. And the price is better than the Grievous starfighter. The Boba Fett's throne room isn't that bad though. Hopefully it gets the usual markdowns at other retailers. -

My guess is the new droid is going to only be used in the N1 and statue, and maybe the advent calendar, it must be remembered that the D-0 mould wasn’t used in other sets, and the most I’d expect is it to be included in a sandcrawler in a couple of years. -

Just as I predicted: commander Cody is splattered over pictures of the ATTE rumour on IG. . . I can’t wait for this to start up again -

No, it’s about the fallen order droid figure in the statue set -

I agree as well, many AT STs are oversized, I doubt the official set will be much to look at but even if there is a new part or technique which can be beneficial for MOCing it could be worthwhile -

I am hoping its an LAATc version, but that's further speculation and wishlisting on my part. I am just looking forward to it being a regular gunship and seeing it not include Commander Cody or some other clone. That hasn't been said yet, but I bet it will get brought up more seriously somewhere else. -

I've often wondered whether the friends minidoll could be used, but that is very speculative and there'd be a new head mould regardless. -

These sets sounds great, though I am surprised at all the AotC sets, my wallet will be very miserable if this wave pans out. I really hope these set rumours are true. -
Lego have made many Maersk sets for years, and for decades before the train, I think there partnership is driven by the fact they are the two most famous companies in Denmark, and I assume it is mutually beneficial like all IP partnerships.

The Palace is not bad, though not as good as I'd hoped, the throne is nice but the building looks to square and I am a bit confused with the turkey leg on a spit behind the throne, it makes me worry there is no back or exterior on the building -

SB00601 AR-PROJECT (MOC AT-RT 501 version UCS)
Stuartn replied to StarBricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very nicely done, as always, really like the clone trooper, your very good at building brick-built figures. -
Out of curiosity, don’t you have to answer the question what does AFOL stand for to join EB? I thought that was the mechanism incorporated into joining EB to ensure that real people (not computer algorithms) are filling out the form, or does the question vary. I may be confusing this with other websites though.

Well that just made my Lego day worse. 50 dollars for 160 pieces!! That's 31c a piece. They're not dreaming, they're delusional (though I appreciate the Castle reference). The Lego City Fun at the Beach is $49.99, but is $39.99 at Kmart, same goes for some Mario sets too, hopefully the Dark Trooper set follows this pattern. $10 more than Americans isn't too insulting. -

There seems to be a difference in the belt printing on the torso. The cruiser version has compartments on the belt while the new one has a plain black band. A grille is also visible on the first while it is left out on the second. Its unfortunate especially if you already had the cruiser version.
