  1. I thought I'd build something while waiting for my E-Wing parts. I don't intend to build this IRL any time soon, but I've not seen many Lego versions of the Starviper, so I decided to see how it would turn out. So I present possibly the most awkwardly shaped ship in Star Wars. :P And a reference. If I ever get around to building it for real, I'll be sure to bump this. :) New version with instructions. https://studio.bricklink.com/v2/build/model.page?idModel=6733
  2. NEW Models will appear in replies later in this thread Models in this thread: RAZOR CREST RIOT MAR'S STARFIGHTER NEW REPUBLIC PRISON SHIP OUTLAND TIE FIGHTER IMPERIAL DROPSHIP JUGGERNAUGHT TREXLER MARAUDER COBB VANTH'S SPEEDER 546-CLASS CRUISER (ARQUITENS) RAZOR CREST Hello everybody I thought I would take a short break from building stuff from the animated series and build something “real”. Also what better way to celebrate the launch of the first live action Star Wars TV series than by building something out of LEGO?! Unfortunately being in the UK I might have to wait to actually watch it. ☹ Anyway I present my MINI version of the Mando’s starship ‘The Razor Crest’. And I must say I am really pleased with how this little model turned out. I am especially pleased with how the engines have turned out. At first I was not sure how to attach them and keep them at the right level but in the end I settled on the minifigure neck brackets. The engines themselves are built around a 1x1 brick with studs on the sides and the two ends of the engines are connected with a 4L Bar. I also think those grey ingot pieces give the shape perfectly. The ship also goes from 1 stud wide to 2 and back again so I could use those new triangle tiles for the rear ramp section. I have also made the usual ‘Planets’ style display with the new Mandalorian minifigure. I could go on but I will let the model speak for itself. Let me know what you think. Jon PS. Is it just me or does this ship remind anyone else of the ‘Serenity’ from Firefly?
  3. The Gauntlet was a Kom'rk-class fighter/transport owned by the former Mandalorian splinter-faction leader turned bounty hunter Pre Vizsla. Designed and constructed by the Mandalorian starship manufacturing corporation, MandalMotors, the Gauntlet took its name from the Basic language translation of the Mando'a word, Kom'rk. Equipped with powerful engines and twin laser cannons, Gauntlet fulfilled dual roles as a troop transport and starfighter, and was maintained by Vizsla— former leader of the Mandalorian splinter-group known as the Death Watch—as his personal transport during the galaxy-spanning Clone Wars. It was later owned by his son, who used it in bounty hunting during the Galactic Civil War era. The Gauntlet was a Kom'rk-class fighter/transport, and like the smaller models of the Kom'rk-class, measured 52.3 meters in length. Gauntlet possessed broad, angular, rotating wings the rotated to an upright landing position when grounded. The starship was also equipped with dual, forward-facing laser cannons located at the nose of the main body, and powerful engines that made Gauntlet one of the fastest troop transports in the galaxy. (not canon) owner info: After being proclaimed dead (Pre Vizsla faked his death at the hands of Darth Maul), and losing his title of leader of Death Watch to the Sith lord, Pre Vizsla escaped Mandalore on his ship, the Gauntlet. He fled to parts unknown, and had his ship repainted into a rusted colors of browns, grays, and black. Pre Vizsla held out for the rest of the Clone Wars on the desert world of Tatooine, hiding his ship in the bustling space-port of Mos Esiley at Docking Bay 93. It was around this time he found himself a wife, one of the refugees from the further out in the Outer Rim sieges. Her name has never been recorded as she died in child birth, but their son has: Par Vizsla. Around the time of rise of the Empire, the father went into business of bounty hunting, and Pre made sure to teach his son the importance of their shared Mandalorian heritage. When Pre died of old age around 3 years Before the Battle of Yavin ( or 3-BBY for short), Par Vizsla took his father's ship and armor and began bounty hunting full-time. He took this profession as a sort of challenge against Boba Fett, the "top dog" of the bounty hunting world, and another Mandalorian-armor wearing hunter. Their rivalry would go on for some time, until Boba was "accidentally" eaten by the Sarlacc. Par Vizsla then had to fight off several new threats to his "top Mandalorian" status, until finally being lost in the deep core chasing a bounty and was then termed MIA around the time of the Battle for Jakku.... though what truly happened to him and his ship will never fully be known. After all, he was chasing the Millennium Falcon! The cockpit seats two figures, one pilot / owner, and one bounty in handcuffs. The cargo area folds up, (and down) and can store a single crate. The ship, while landed, has the two side arms fold upwards 90 degrees. Builders notes: This model is a color-changed and slightly modified version of set 9525 (Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter). I liked the model, but not the color scheme, so I changed it to match one of the figures in the new Mandalorian battle pack (set 75267), who is going to pilot this ship. I removed the ability for the ship's cockpit to turn 90 degrees sideways while flying as I didn't like how it looked. The landing function still operates as intended, though. The story I wrote that goes with this model is 100% my own fan fiction. It has been inspired by the Clone Wars TV show and other bits of info from the Star Wars Wikipedia about various topics. Most (but not all) of the ship's info is straight from the Gauntlet's page on that wiki. (This model should be built in real life next year, hopefully by mid-March.)
  4. Over a month of design and here it is: The Razor Crest from The Mandalorian Series! Currently I have finished the virtual version, I checked many connections on real bricks. Building this vehicle was one of the most difficult things I did. Mapping the shape required many non-standard connections and inventing more and more strange solutions. Razor currently contains 2040 parts, including a display stand and landing gears. I also built an interior, many things open up. This is not the final version yet, some details, such as the painting may change. The full announcement will be available in a few days on my YouTube - Edge of Bricks! What do you think about this project? :)
  5. *Your entry has earned 6 XP* From the report of Atlas: Torak, after helping him on Kir, has asked i chase a lead for him to Krownest as the Imperils he was chasing separate. Gladly, I follow the information to Krownest which in turn brings me to a bar. In one corner I notice the Imperials are here before me and seem to be ushered to a backroom. As I follow, unnoticed, i'm lead to a basement where two troops are removing their armour to blend in more seemlessly. However, they're using a small rail to flee to some hideout! As their apparent leader moves to the bottom of the stair well I make my attack! Knocking his drink to the floor I hit him with enough force to make sure he won't be getting up anytime whilst using my wristblaster towards the troops running for the tunnel Poodu! One troop got away from me! After checking the two imperial's are going to be causing no further issue, I examine the abandoned troop armour as my comlink begins to shrill "Torak, opportune timing, i've taken care of your imperials though one got away down a rail line - don't worry, i'll get them - i'm on the hunt now. Odd thing, they had some strange yellow fist marking..." "It's as I feared, these were also troops loyal to Pyerce" "But he's-" "Back, Yes. Follow the troop you lost, he may lead you to more Pyerce loyalists - Stop them, at all costs" With that, the call ends and I follow the tracks into the tunnel...
  6. "This is the way." This is my MOC of the Razor Crest from The Mandalorian. Features opening cockpit, opening side and rear doors.
  7. Hi! Today I want to show you my new diorama MOC from The Mandalorian series! MOC contains probably 3000 parts. Main details: - Main gate, - two buildings, - main street - a lot of details The construction took about 2 months, I did 4 orders with Bricklink, now I have much more parts which will facilitate the construction of next projects! :) What do you think about this MOC? :) More details on my YouTube channel - Edge of Bricks:
  8. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* Olen was searching the plains of Azure for an old imperial bunker. Supposedly, since news had reached them of the defeat at Jakku, a small squadron of storm troopers had holed up underground with supplies and credits Olen's employer dearly wanted. So far the imps had eluded him. Luckily for him, his new bike wasn't quiet. It drew the attention of the imps who made the mistake of thinking they had a chance...
  9. I decided to give a try to build my own version of the Razor Crest during the quarantine, but using my own bricks. Due to limited availability it had to be a micro version, but I'm happy how it turned out. I tried to incorporate some play features as well (doors open, kind of landing gear, "interior" or at least hollow space) and keep it as smooth as possible. I'm proud of the sloped cabin, the most difficult part by far. I hope you liked it. Regards, PaulPrime
  10. Hi! New MOC design is ready, another vehicle from the Mandalorian series, this time something for the glory of the Empire: Trexler Marauder (supposedly worth a lot of money on the black market according to Mythrol) Main features: - 1002 parts, - minifig scale, - openable door, - cabin with seats and panels, - you can detach the entire roof to get inside, - at the back of the vehicle is the turret operator station. I will build the project next year. In a few days, the full presentation will appear on my YouTube - Edge of Bricks. PDF Instructions will be available in January Now I'm taking the next MOC from the series ...
  11. Hi! Some time ago I finished building my AT-ST Raider. I liked the project very much, I thought it would be a good idea to build some diorama... RAIDER ON THE EDGE project has started :) MOC refers to the 4th episode "The Sanctuary" of The Mandalorian series, The main theme will be the battle between Mando and Cara Dune against the AT-ST Raider and Klatooinians. Currently, I already have a diorama outline, there are little lakes and first details. I order parts all the time, a lot of olive green and dark tan bricks. If you want see more, check my youtube:
  12. AT-ST RAIDER- 864 parts!- Minifig Scale! This is the second AT-ST I have designed, the previous version was First Order AT-ST. The new design is the Imperial version, but with a completely different style. AT-ST Raider appeared in The Mandalorian series, Episode 4 "Sanctuary". The AT-ST Raider is an old, badly damaged machine that was repaired by The Klatooinian. A few bricks will still be changed - currently I don't have red macaroni parts, as soon as they appear on Bricklink in my local stores, I will order them. I think a very cool option is that I used almost all stickers from the official 75254 set! the feet are the exception This is another MOC from The Mandalorian series, but not the last!
  13. *Your entry has earned 11 XP* It is a lawless time. Following the defeat of the Empire at the Battle of Jakku, former Imperial governor Moff Pyerce struggles to keep hold of his territories. Wishing to bring back the glory days, he rules several star systems with an iron fist. Pyerce's faction invades the distant mining planet of Bonadan on a mission to exploit the planet's precious minerals and puts a blockade around the planet. The Mandalorian Clan Eldar, breaks through the blockade and split up to secure strategic locations on the surface. In this group, hired assassin Jani Price, descendant of Mandalore of old, fights for those who have been oppressed by the Empire, and the Republic before it. However, on this mission she has other plans... Word reached her through holo-transmission from the galactic underworld that notorious war criminal Ambun Refkra has been hired by Pyerce to lead a legion of his troops. Jani arrives to settle an old score, and collect the bounty on Refrka's head...
  14. Lego should do collectible mini figures for Star Wars. They would be great for The Mandalorian or other Star Wars. Do you agree. You can have your say right here.
  15. *Your entry has earned 10 XP* Excerpt from Cdr. Bannon’s log: I’m puzzled by the narrow minds of high ranking ex-imperials who lay claims to imperial property and feel the need to establish their petty kingdoms and sanctuaries. This should be a time to stand together. Since they will not unite and cannot be reasoned with we will bring them to justice. Intelligence reports that a previously forgotten imperial outpost on Hoth is being raided by ex-imperial scavengers. Since Reaper Squad is unavailable, this is the perfect task to test the mettle of our newly reborn Imperial Super Commando unit. The task is direct: Search and Destroy! Show no mercy... Send a message... Loud and clear... Stealing Imperial property will not be tolerated... And of course... Leave a witness alive... /// Oh my... I think I lost it a bit with this challenge. It's just - blood and gore works really well in the white snow... Anyways... A really fun way to work with some mandos kicking megablocks! Let me know what you like and dislike...
  16. *Your entry has earned 8 XP* Ch.1 Mando's On The Hunt It was a simple bounty puck. Just another bail jumper hiding out on Arcan IV, or so Var had suspected. Turns out the bounty had been dealing with an empire cell and Var had just interrupted their secret meeting. Before he knew it, Var was neck deep against an army of stormtroopers. "Drop the blaster. It’s over, we have you surrounded", the stormtrooper shouted. "I’m not so sure about that", Var replied as he reached over to his belt and quickly grabbed a thermal detonator. He knew he would not be able to escape the explosion but Var had no other choice. He resigned himself when suddenly blaster shots came firing from the rear. They all look up to the sight of another mandalorian swooping in from behind, completely catching the stormtroopers off guard. Var sees his opportunity. One mandalorian is enough to turn the tide, but two mandalorians and the battle is won. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey guys, I decided to expand my prior build now that I have re-familiarized myself with my bricks. I wanted to go for a more industrial, rusted look. Tell me what you guys think. Also I would like to make this my official submission to the Mandalorian challenge. Edit: I have swapped out the original photo with an improved one, so you should be able to see the build much better now.
  17. An At-ST Raider Moc inspired by the recent MOC's created by Lewis Kiwi and previously LDD Model Maker. This is my first Moc created through the Studio program, overall I enjoyed it although it doesn't compare to building with solid bricks. Any Feedback would be Appreciated. Here are two more renders of the model https://drive.google.com/file/d/1o4Z9pesWccasCvVjQHrvW2flYdxDUGDw/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iGkU4qVU8x-u8tRJGNj5tBkmtWDcHXa6/view?usp=sharing
  18. Nal Hutta was a hot, swampy planet located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories that was the homeworld of the Hutt species. The planet was a haven for the criminal elements of the galaxy. We can find here also Bounty Hunter Enclaves, such as this one here. My build to celebrate May 4th. This is my first Star Wars MOC, wanted to build something with my new Mandos. C&C welcome! Sorry for the background, I took them in my store.
  19. "Brothers and Sisters; "We're done hiding. "Some say the galaxy doesn't need us any more; that the Empire did everyone a favour with its conquest of Mandalore. They say that a warrior culture has no place in a galaxy that's had enough of war. "But I say this; there will always be a place among the stars for those who are willing to fight for it. Those who aren't prepared to let someone else deny their right to exist. "So if you've got the guts to wear the armour, I say you've earned the right to be a Mandalorian. It doesn't matter who you are; where you came from; born or made. If you're willing to stand against the storm with your head held high, Clan Eldar will stand beside you." Some members of Clan Eldar were fortunate enough to escape by fleeing their homes - a hard act for any Mandalorian. These disparate groups managed to keep in touch and, now that the Empire has fallen, are tentatively making contact again. Soldiers Clan Eldar consisted of Mandalorian warriors that donned Mandalorian armour with black, dark green, and orange color. Nonetheless, Members of Clan Eldar, and their allies, wear a wide range of different-coloured armour, and some wear no armour at all. Times have not been kind to the Clan, and many new members still need to earn their armour. Clan Eldar does not expect its members to follow The Way. Removal of your helmet does not make you any less Mandalorian. Giving up does.
  20. Hi, I know that there are a lot of LEGO versions of the new Star Wars star, the Kid (aka Baby Yoda), but after watching the show, I needed to build my own version. I hope you like it. He can move the ears, the mouth and the arms. Thank you.
  21. Hi! Stay home they said so... this is my new MOC design! Imperial Troop Transport New project ready - this time the Imperial machine, which unexpectedly appeared on the Mandalorian series! The vehicle currently consists of equal 1003 bricks, although it always changes during construction. Inside we have an interior for 2 drivers, 6 stormtroopers on the side, inside an additional 8 or 10 depending on whether we take equipment on board. The roof will be removable, the ramp and hatch open, plus a revolving cannon. The PDF Instructions will be available in April! Full Preview on my Youtube - Edge of Bricks, link below
  22. This is an alternative build using The Mandalorian Razor Crest set 75292. For this model You can build the Havoc marauder from the tv series Bad Batch. Instructions at Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-80074/A_Great_Builder/bad-batchs-havoc-marauder-75292-c-model/#details
  23. My entry is a recreation of the concept art for the final scene of season 1 of The Mandalorian where Moff Gideon emerges from his crashed TIE Fighter with the Darksaber. While the final scene ended up looking very similar, there are still some key differences. For starters, the setting is during daylight, not sunset, and the TIE Fighter appears to be heavier damaged Also, the hole that Gideon cut into the hull with the Darksaber is missing and the Jawas are still in the shot as he stands atop his ship. This is likely because in the concept art the fighter seems to have crashed right side up instead of upside down, meaning that the hatch on top isn't obstructed, giving Gideon no reason to cut his way out of the cockpit and scare the Jawas off. What I really like about this concept art is how Gideon has a much more dynamic pose with his cape and the smoke behind him flowing in the wind. Reference:
  24. UPDATED VERSION on the 24/04/2021 IMG_5503 by R Y, on Flickr IMG_5505 by R Y, on Flickr I started off with building up the Cobb Vanth speeder using pieces of the 75299 set, based on the guide from reddit user stocky13, very smart use of inverted pieces to create the core of the speeder. The new Round 3 x 3 x 2 with Recessed Center and Axle Hole makes a great engine intake with the Bar with light cover. 25. Hi all! my new project is ready: Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighterreferring to the final episode of Season 2 of The Mandalorian. I wanted the X-Wing in my collection, but the 75301 is average for me, and the 75218 is already very expensive. This is my MOC/MOD based on a set of 75218 and a bit of a 75301. I think the design from Lego (75218) is very good, so I just wanted to improve a few things and build it from easy available elements. The full presentation is now available on my youtube channel - EDGE OF BRICKS PDF Instructions is available: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-76703/EDGE OF BRICKS/xwing-fighter/#details
