  1. Have you tried placing a nail through a baseplate yet? Unless you heated the nail I would be concerned that you could end up damaging the baseplate, though I haven't tried so it could work perfectly well, though as @dr_spock pointed out they could be inconvenient. Double sided tape or glue should be sufficient to hold the baseplates especially if they are all secured together well and the track is firmly connected, and the train shouldn't cause too much movement unless it crashed or hit a buffer at full speed. In terms of securing track to baseplates, there are many track geometry resources which can show where curved track aligns with baseplate studs, though even placing just a layer of tiles underneath for aesthetics and support should be enough with just the ends of the straight ends of the curves attached to the baseplate for R40 curves. Regardless I look forward to seeing more of the end result.
  2. *Your entry has earned 4XP* PREVIOUSLY https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/189032-m11-nubia-cs-the-beginning/ PART 2 CorSec's Director General of Security and Intelligence stood across from the Lieutenant General in a Nubian Briefing room. In front of him was a very obsolete mapping table, upon which models of Corellian and enemy vehicles and troopers had to be moved by hand. Had they not heard of Holotables in these parts? What a backwater. Nevertheless, Director Gen. Sio Antilles listened to the delightfully wacky story the old military commander recited. The young commander had little time for fairy stories, especially those from someone not technically his superior. Though he owed it to whichever bureaucrat had organised his voyage on a luxury Nubian shuttle, and orders were orders. Besides, he could think of worse ways to spend the next couple of weeks than looking for some supposed kid-wizard on a relatively peaceful planet. Overall I am happy with how this build has turned out, thank you for viewing and feedback is welcomed.
  3. *Your entry has earned 3XP* Part 1 Lt. Gen. Raymus Senesca approached the hooded figure with caution. Only some mere hours earlier his military intelligence units had intercepted a transmission that they were obviously meant to see. It come from an anonymous sender who claimed to be from a Force Sensitive order, and asked only for assistance with ensuring the safety of a person CorSec territorial limits. The General should have passed this information down the chain of command so it could eventually find its way into the hands of the CorSec Intelligence department, but that would not only be slow and cumbersome, but also risk the information leaking to another party. Besides, Senesca did not want his name attached to a report about space-magicians, without him being able to at least partially verify the story. So he decided to meet with the sender, at a peculiar location: the Nubian Museum of Contemporary Antiquities. The General attempted to stoke a conversation with the man before an interesting art installation, but the cloaked figure cut to the chase. 'Sir, I am a representative of a Force Sensitive order, rebuilding in the Western Reaches. We have sensed the presence of a potential foundling upon this planet, but a peculiar society formerly in association with the Empire also seeks this person'. Senesca was hardly delighted with the circumstances, bright light shone in his face which obscured his view of the cloaked man. But - succinctly - he pressed on; 'continue'. 'As fellow supporters of the New Republic and the light, we seek your assistance to find this person before they do'. The General agreed, though he hardly new what he had gotten himself into, and whether he could convince his superiors. The mysterious figure turned and left, leaving the General wondering just who he was. 'He couldn't be, could he?' Thank you for viewing this little MOC, the artwork was surprisingly difficult to construct, but eventually came together well, comments and feedback always welcome.
  4. I really like the design of the space station, lots of great details all around
  5. Thank you I can certainly see where you're coming from, and I agree they are disproportionately small, and the grey building especially is somewhat undersized.
  6. Great work, the whole display is brilliant but the executive shuttle really steals the show: extremely well designed vehicle. Nice texture and greebling on the tower too.
  7. *Your entry has earned 6 XP* Despite the nuisance posed by Imperial and CorSec troops squabbling over control of Bellassa, its industry, often centred around its vast forests continue. Here a lumberjack droid assists in chopping down a pine tree, under the watchful gaze of its supervisor. Thank you for viewing, like always, and feedback is welcome and appreciated.
  8. Thank you, I am glad that the pun in the name was noticed. Thank you, it took some refining and I am happy with the end result.
  9. Thank you, its a scarf piece from Ninjago, https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=24504&idColor=11
  10. Thank you, the RO tank is a great source of inspiration.
  11. *Your entry has earned 6 XP* As CorSec mounts a determined resistance on Bellassa, IMPERIAL forces move forward, deploying Imperial Security Bureau troops to secure key information and intelligence assets, like this communications outpost. Detail shot of main building. Thank you for viewing, as always, comments and feedback welcome. I am happy with how the building come out, while it is only small I feel it has presence and I am happy with the level of detail and techniques packed in.
  12. *Your entry has earned 7 XP* Continuing to push back against Imperial armoured divisions, CORSEC has now entered the fight to secure Bellassa. A CorSec technician leads a K1-class anti-personnel droid on a patrol along an unsecured Bellassa street. They pass an anti-aircraft bunker and cautiously check a side-street before reaching a small temple. K1-L3R an anti-personnel droid: Thank you for viewing, comments and feedback are welcome. Like my previous build I have aimed to create a small scene. This is slightly more technical due to teh droid which took some refining, and due to the techniques used on the temple, though I am very happy with composition and the overall designs used.
  13. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* As Imperial troops continue to de-stabilise Bellassa, the planets only substantive military force, the Bellassa CITIZEN'S EXPEDITIONARY MILITIA FORCE, has been activated to provide resources for teh counter-offensive, in tandem with CorSec reinforcements. Here, a small CEMF fireteam patrol a telecommunications outpost, previously occupied by Imperials. Thank you for viewing, comments and feedback are welcome, I have aimed to construct a small vignette, while still being able to incorporate some advanced landscaping techniques, and I am rather happy with the end result.
  14. Great build, the chima wolf head piece is genius employment of the piece, and great detail overall
  15. Incredible build, there is a lot of great details, such as the door, the windows, the river technique and of course the overall proportions and design are great.
  16. Nice build, good shaping and I like the concept. The frigates and blockade runner are very nicely done also. Is this intended to be an interdictor for your faction?
  17. *Your entry has earned 8XP* As the Imperial military machine sweeps into Bellassa, the CorSec FRONTIER FORCE is despatched to re-establish order upon the ravaged planet. In the planet's green zone, CorSec operatives create a headquarters from which to coordinate their counter-offensive. A CorSec Security and Intelligence operative stands guard in front of the former administrative palace, to guard against insurgents and Imperial sympathisers. Additional details below: While I did have an interior built for this entry, I was never truly happy with it, so I am deciding to let the exterior of the building, and the landscaping, which I am quite satisfied with, stand for itself, and a separate interior build will be posted later. Comments and feedback are welcome, and thank you for viewing! INDEX OF MY FACTIONS ENTRIES
  18. Lots of great detail in the build. While it differs from mots SW bridges, it certainly has the recognisable configurations and nice aesthetics.
  19. Great build overall, the detail alone is great, but the functionality adds a lot of impact too. The arch and the doorways behind it are very nicely integrated.
  20. Thank you, something like the nose art on Republic gunship sets would actually look quite nice. Thank you
  21. Wow, great build, the shaping is excellent and while it is not a common design it really fits with the SW aesthetic, and some nice detail and greebles included despite the overall sleekness.
  22. *Your entry has earned 9 XP* As Imperial forces continue to advance in Bellassa, they employ a new agile weapon, the TX366 Mortar Carrier. Designed to keep Imperial artillery troopers protected when conducting operations, this vehicle boasts impressive speed and manoeuvrability, combined with firepower from its four Dymek 2e/w medium cannons in swivelling mounts, a medium repeating blaster in a forward mount, and a remote controlled turret boasting two heavy repeating blasters atop the vehicle, in addition to its standard imperial mortar. In mortar configuration: Thank you for viewing, and comments and feedback welcome.
  23. *Your entry has earned 10 XP* Imperial forces sweep into Bellassa! They bring with them a terrifying suite of new ground vehicles, including the TX228 Imperial Combat Vehicle, an Infantry Fighting Vehicle based upon the chassis of the famous repulsorlift TX225 GAVr 'Occupier' Combat Assault Hovertank. This vehicle incorporates a heavy repeating blaster mounted in a turret, four Dymek MK2e/w medium laser canons positioned in lateral swivelling mounts, and a light repeating blaster mounted atop the turret. It has capacity for six troopers in a addition to its crew of 3. Additional images below Thank you all for viewing, comments and feedback welcome.
  24. Nice job, and a great level of detail packed in for a smaller MOC. Very good shaping and landscaping.
  25. Certainly starting S1 with a bang! Great shaping overall and I really like the greebled section. I like the name Sustainer as well.
