Has Olaf's lack of "hair" been corrected? -
Welcome to Eurobricks! I'm glad you're finding Lego to be a good way to distract yourself. Honestly it's a great hobby that has helped me through some stressful times.

Review REVIEW: 21030 United States Capitol
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Looks pretty elegant, but outside of my budget. I might Bricklink the trophy pieces, though. Thanks for the review! -
City Layout - Inspired by Los Angeles, California
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to parrafilmsguy's topic in LEGO Town
That's quite an impressive layout! I really liked the skyscrapers. By the way, the violin that one of the mariachis has, where did you get it? Is it a custom from some online store? -
I would just wait for the confirmation and click "Flag project". Don't worry, it won't reach 100 supporters before you receive it.

Pitch your dream Lego game!
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Duncan Young's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I've been really hoping for a Marvel vs. DC crossover game. Also a game based on my favorite movie franchise, Back to the Future, which will sadly probably never be produced. -

Winter Holiday Train 10254 Powerfunctions elements
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to jamzee's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Ummm... Yes? I have complaints about the new train system, hence I still use the old one. That doesn't mean the new one doesn't bother me. Plus, the fact that Lego doesn't support the old system anymore means that the supply of those parts will diminish as the years go by. -
Star Wars Constraction 2016 Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Logan McOwen's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Now that you mention it, I do remember the Ent's throwing gimmick bothered me because it allows for less poseability. You raise a valid point! -

Can anyone remind me how we discovered this? Also, in regards to Scooby-Doo, would this discard other Hannah-Barbera characters, or only Scooby-Doo? -

I heard this is a USPS thing. Have you experienced that when shipping from places other than the US? -
Winter Holiday Train 10254 Powerfunctions elements
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to jamzee's topic in LEGO Train Tech
That was one of my complaints as well, and I guess the reason I still prefer the old 9V system with electric tracks.
