LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I agree with your thoughts on the stormtroopers. Plus I guess I'd love C-3PO's printing to go farther down his legs. But anyways, yeah, most figures are perfect as they are. -
When to strike at Amazon?

You're welcome, and thanks! I was not aware of that website. -
[MOC] Outdoor Store - Modular Building

You do have a point. You could always make a smaller version of the store and submit it.- 26 replies

Review REVIEW: 21030 United States Capitol
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm sure it'll be fixed in a couple of days along with all the other code in the posts. -
BR 53 from Germany a small cousin from the Big Boy
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to ust60's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Wow, that engine is very powerful. It's the first time that I see a Lego engine pullingn that many cars. Amazing! Great job! PS: about how much does each car weigh? -
These look great! I have a feeling it is not minifig scale, though. I think they would look fine without the head inside. Great job and thanks for sharing!

A suggestion: it would be great if the avatars were not distorted to fit a square. I think this has happened even in the previous version of the forum, but now that the images are bigger, it's more noticeable.

Well, I would be more concerned as to what your son likes. If he considers those sets to be for girls, then I wouldn't get one for him. If he doesn't mind, then I would say do as you feel you should. Mostly the minidolls can be "girly" because of their thinness and facial features, but again, it's all subjective. I'm just trying to anticipate what some kids would feel.

LEPIN brings out Monster Fighters HAUNTED HOUSE (16007)
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to ericb's topic in Community
I'm not too familiar with clone brands. Is Lepin the biggest one, hence them being targeted by Lego? -

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Don't forget to add LED lights to avoid the yellowing problem! -
I think a re-release of the MF is not a question of if, but rather of when. This license will probably last another 10 years at least, and I doubt Lego will pass on the opportunity of making cash out of this model again, especially if improving upon the old model would help them save on design costs.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Are these problems caused by the new website, or has this always been a thing? -
Minifigure legs are especially prone to breaking around the base of the legs. For that reason I almost don't have minifigures standing on display anymore.

This is a great, classic figure . I just recently got myself a repeat. May I ask why you are selling it? Have you considered Bricklink or eBay? It is on multiple wanted lists, as far as I can tell.

It would seem that the old quotes are broken, but I imagine this is one of the things that'll get fixed in time. I like the new, clean look!

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Just caved in last night and got myself a Darth Malgus minifig for a relatively decent price. Looking forward to completing my Sith collection soon! -
LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Plus after a certain point, there's really not that much room of improvement for some figs. I personally think that the Death Star Han Solo and Luke are as good as it can be. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Any clue as to why they decided to keep the exclusive superhero minifigs only for SDCC? -
Thank you!

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Does Lego even go to NYCC anymore? The last thing I remember is the 2011 figs, but I'm probably wrong. -
[MOC] Outdoor Store - Modular Building
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to ReplicaOfLife's topic in LEGO Town
I really like this little store. It is very original and really reminds me of outdoor stores. How did you manage to put the rock piece upside down? Is it secured in place or is it loose?- 26 replies
