  1. It helps in a few cases, I guess, but most sellers that are willing to provide clarification on shipping costs and fees on a quote, would have already done so in the splash page.
  2. I'd like to see some more Hannah Barbera characters, plus the obvious Marvel and Star Wars.
  3. It's OK, it's not like we're getting that many Batmen. By the way, I hadn't caught that promotional video for ET. Really liking it!
  4. That would be sad... Can't say I would personally regret it, though.
  5. Does anyone have a link or video of this train working with PF?
  6. One time, I asked for a quote, the guy took forever to reply, and the quote was canceled. When I sent him a message a few days later asking him if he was still interested in selling the items, he said he thought I canceled the quote, and that in the meantime the items had already been sold!!!!
  7. Can you elaborate on this? If the linear motion is alternating, how do you convert the alternating rotating motion to a one-directional rotation? You said part of it is a rack and pinion, right?
  8. That is one beautiful engine!! I'm also jealous of your setup. I don't really have space to display my trains. Keep us posted!
  9. I have very fond memories of this film. The builds you have made are comprehensive and impressive. They remind me of Rock Raiders.
  10. I like how you used the original figures. It gives it a nice retro look.
  11. I love it! I didn't ever think of this mashup by myself. Thanks for sharing!
  12. "I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened."
  13. Wow, thanks for sharing that info, I'd never have known.
  14. I believe some things happen here as a result of a good relationship with TLG (Whitefang receiving boxes of CMFs to review, petitions through the ambassador program). I wouldn't blame EB for trying to keep that.
  15. Shhhh, don't give them any ideas...
  16. Oh gotcha! Thanks for the clarification.
  17. 95% of my collection is not with me, and I also have a backlog of sets without assembling...
  18. Wait, what do you mean C-3PO from the 80's? Anyways, I agree with the OP. I've been dying to get a chrome R2, and an updated chrome 3PO. Lego, I hope you're planning something!
  19. Considering the package said "exclusive", I'm pretty sure they're different, probably because of the facial expressions.
  20. Most likely my parents or my grandma. I started with some little sets and a couple of decades later my collection grew considerably!
  21. There was an interesting discussion of this on Brickset. Apparently Lego has already considered these kinds of elements. Personally, I don't see them being dynamic enough to have a high enough demand, but let's wait and see what happens.
  22. Personally I keep an eye on Brickset and FBTB for sales.
  23. Wow, thanks for teaching me some history! Unfortunately I missed this when I visited Berlin. Guess I'll have to wait till next time!
