  1. I was really impressed by the short. It definitely sparked my interest.
  2. That's what an updated Lego Lando should look like. For a while I forgot what topic I was reading and I thought it was a leak.
  3. It's looking really good! I really like the passive mechanism for the pneumatic piston. It seems to be struggling a bit, though. Maybe it needs another pump?
  4. Really like your cyborg superman. At first I thought it was a custom!
  5. Either way is hilarious. But I'd expect him to have an alternate suit if he's going to the tropics, at least.
  6. Interesting idea! It combines two of the best things in life: Lego and drones.
  7. Detroit Steel looks too much like a Transformer to me...
  8. That's hilarious! Have you managed to recover all the parts yet?
  9. Cool! Looking forward to them. :)
  10. I agree, I was really disappointed with this new wizard. Usually Lego steps it up with wizards, but not this time. Come to think of it, though, I think after the S12 Wizard there was little room for improvement. Doesn't mean we had to go back that much, though...
  11. I like the new 100 in 60 day rule as well. Navigating ideas can sometimes become a hassle, and I hope this'll make it easier to find projects that should get and need support!
  12. I liked your animation! I didn't even know it was Hobbit day. The ending was also surprising and cute. Thanks for sharing!
  13. Is that a legit legal argument people can make? Sounds surprising to me.
  14. That sounds interesting and possible. The water in the Lego Movie was made out of bricks, but that doesn't seem to be the case with this upcoming movie.
  15. Edit: Whoops, still getting used to the new format. Ignore this...
  16. Ahhhh, I always love to see those old robot parts. Thanks for the nostalgia.
  17. Wow! I never realized that it might allow them to take legal action against the Chinese counterfeit brands. It'll be interesting to see how the story develops, although in that case I do wonder why they didn't take legal action before.
  18. I think that won't affect bootleg figures as much. Seems to me more of a matter of them getting their set designs stolen.
  19. Well, if they have been using Lego's designs for too long, they might have a hard time setting aside people and resources for original designs. I guess we'll see what happens.
  20. Seems odd that they wouldn't have realized this before. I wonder if they decided to change it because somebody complained.
  21. Oh wow, I wasn't aware that this existed! Building a Rubik's cube solver was one of my dreams years ago. Should give it a try.
  22. Wow, for a 1st attempt at a vehicle you certainly did an amazing job. Thanks for sharing!
  23. Thanks for the link! Not a good year for completionists. Now now, let's not get ahead of ourselves...
  24. Really wonder how that would play out, though. I feel this movie doesn't lend itself as easily to the "real world", though a cameo from Adam West would be pretty amazing!
  25. I'm thinking perhaps we could see a polybag of some sorts on the side, at least.
