The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017)
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to PenPlays's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I was really impressed by the short. It definitely sparked my interest. -
That's what an updated Lego Lando should look like. For a while I forgot what topic I was reading and I thought it was a leak.

Purist Superhero Figures
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to sok117's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Really like your cyborg superman. At first I thought it was a custom! -
Either way is hilarious. But I'd expect him to have an alternate suit if he's going to the tropics, at least.

Interesting idea! It combines two of the best things in life: Lego and drones. -

Nexo Knights 2016
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I agree, I was really disappointed with this new wizard. Usually Lego steps it up with wizards, but not this time. Come to think of it, though, I think after the S12 Wizard there was little room for improvement. Doesn't mean we had to go back that much, though... -
LEGO Ideas Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I like the new 100 in 60 day rule as well. Navigating ideas can sometimes become a hassle, and I hope this'll make it easier to find projects that should get and need support! -
Happy Hobbit Day!- Lego stop motion

I liked your animation! I didn't even know it was Hobbit day. The ending was also surprising and cute. Thanks for sharing!- 2 replies

LEPIN brings out Monster Fighters HAUNTED HOUSE (16007)

Is that a legit legal argument people can make? Sounds surprising to me. -
The LEGO Batman Movie
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Ordinareo's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
That sounds interesting and possible. The water in the Lego Movie was made out of bricks, but that doesn't seem to be the case with this upcoming movie. -

Why is LEGO now being made in China?
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to 9v system's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Wow! I never realized that it might allow them to take legal action against the Chinese counterfeit brands. It'll be interesting to see how the story develops, although in that case I do wonder why they didn't take legal action before. -
Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to KingPixels's topic in Community
I think that won't affect bootleg figures as much. Seems to me more of a matter of them getting their set designs stolen. -
LEPIN brings out Monster Fighters HAUNTED HOUSE (16007)
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to ericb's topic in Community
Well, if they have been using Lego's designs for too long, they might have a hard time setting aside people and resources for original designs. I guess we'll see what happens. -

Seems odd that they wouldn't have realized this before. I wonder if they decided to change it because somebody complained. -

The LEGO Batman Movie
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Ordinareo's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Really wonder how that would play out, though. I feel this movie doesn't lend itself as easily to the "real world", though a cameo from Adam West would be pretty amazing!
