DC Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I want to like these designs and this movie, but these gritty, unsaturated character designs really don't do it for me. We already had gritty and realistic with The Dark Knight trilogy. I am disappointed with the figs. -

I am not a huge fan of that dragon, but his wings make him tempting to me. They look pretty cool. -

Saw the first picture I have seen today. I am still convinced about the subset of figures I am interested in. -

What a relief. Let's hope to see them become available in many other places. -
VIDIYO - Universal Music 2021
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It seems that, at best, we're talking about a very limited regional release, potentially only through Lego. -

He seems to talk about some sort of Vidiyo reboot. Does anyone know what he's talking about? -

Over on Brickset, a user claims they wrote to Lego and got this response: "As we're placing LEGO VIDIYO on hold for 2022, it won't be affecting the release of the 43108 Bandmates Series 2 blind boxes on the 1st of October 2021. Our current plans for pausing this theme don't affect any of the products being released in 2021." They speculate that perhaps Lego has decided to not ship these to retailers, and opt to sell them directly instead. In either case, I think Lego should be clearer on their messaging here. If these are never getting released, just rip the bandaid already! -
71033 LEGO Muppets CMF Series - Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Borex's topic in LEGO Licensed
This would be such a welcome series, especially considering the failed Ideas projects. I will stay cautiously optimistic. -

This makes me so glad I am not a completionist! I am sure that many of these are a pain to find! -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Muppets would be a sensible series after the success of the Sesame Street set. Here's hoping this rumor pans out!!! -

That's fair. Predicting minifig prices isn't an exact science. Here's hoping he drops in value for you! -

He comes in a smaller set, so should stay cheaper than Joker, but yes, might rise in value in a few years. -
DC Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I suspect the figures from the 2014 Tumbler are going to take a tumble () in value, so they might be an option for those looking to save. I can imagine people that had the 2014 Joker on their wanted lists looking for the new one instead. -
Really excited for the dark turquoise brick suit. I just wish Lego made these easier to buy for those unable to get to a Lego store!

I remember the rationale behind 12 figures being that they could make boxes of 36 with x3 of each (don't have a link handy right now, but I remember that being discussed on this forum before). If that is the case, then that would suggest they'd stick to 12, although I guess they could make boxes of 32 with x2 of each figure if they did 16 figures. However, it's better to be pleasantly surprised than disappointed, so I personally will assume things will stay their course.

Hmmm, that would be an excellent pick. Hope they think the same. -

I need to beef up my imperials, so really looking forward to this battle pack. Also hoping the Hoth Scout trooper looks something like this: -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hmmm, did you sign in to the Informed Delivery dashboard or use the USPS app? The daily digest e-mails will only show the packages that are arriving soon, but the dashboard does show all incoming packages. When I have something from B&P, I see something that has "DHL" in the sender name. -

It shows tracking numbers for any packages as soon as they get created (not only when they are about to be delivered), though. And you can track them as they go through. -

LEGO Racers 2019 Collection (MOCs)

Not sure why I never asked, but how does that work? Did you give them reference images? They look really good. I'd love to find someone to do some for me, but using pad prints. -
The future of Back to the Future
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to 1980-Something-Space-Guy's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hopefully it was a mix-up between sets, and not that we won't get a DeLorean. At this point I'll wait and see. If nothing comes out this year, I'll consider the rumor dead.
