  1. I am extremely happy with the list. Not only do I feel assured now that these are confirmed, but I am also surprised that there are no notable absences (at least for me, as a very casual fan).
  2. With how many wasted spots (in my opinion) there were in S19 with ordinary city figs that could have come in any of the muuultiple City sets Lego releases (which is also an evergreen theme), I say bring on a heavy focus on fantasy, which we would not get elsewhere. Fingers crossed these are fantasy minifigs!
  3. I would not recommend hoping for color diversity within these series. They never did purple, and they've done many yellow, blue, and green ones.
  4. Oh gosh, this, THIS, THIS is what CMFs should be! This sounds like the best regular series in a while. Excellent for Castle and Space fans, as well as minifigure costume collectors. Now I can't wait for pictures!
  5. It's great if you enjoy deadpan humor at all.
  6. Precisely what I was alluding to.
  7. Limiting oxygen exposure might suggest that keeping them sealed is better, no?
  8. Here I was thinking that storing minifigs in sealed bags was the way to go. What is one supposed to do, then? This link claims wrapping figures in tissue paper is better. That doesn't sound like a nice solution to me. https://www.ala.org/alcts/preservationweek/advice/figurines
  9. The specific post I am referring to is on page 7 and was posted today (by Russell844). My local store went back to having people choose as well. However, the post claims the employee said they want to make BAM exclusive to Discovery Centers. With how confusing their messaging has been as of late, I'd take it with a grain of salt, though.
  10. Over on the Brickset forum, they are claiming that Lego will be phasing out BAM and replacing it with pre-made figures. Personally, I don't mix up parts, and I like to keep figures as they come, so this does not really affect me, but I am sure many others will miss this. https://forum.brickset.com/discussion/19310/us-bam-bar-contents/p7
  11. Same here. I got myself the pieces for the chicken guy. Seems quite funny!
  12. We are always left to wonder until the last minute, but this year I am starting to believe we won't see any exclusives a la SDCC.
  13. UV is what causes yellowing, and I've heard incandescent lamps do emit it. Apparently LEDs do not emit it, and it is what people use when they want to iluminate Lego sets without yellowing them, as far as I know.
  14. It is sad that for several DC movies lack of color has been the norm. I agree with you.
  15. Dang, those are some nice space suits!
  16. Yup, I've seen these in person at my local Lego store's BAM station. Definitely dark turquoise (AKA teal). One of the best Lego colors, in my opinion.
  17. Yeah, you can BL those cape variants for a reasonable price.
  18. Awesome! Thanks for the review! Sadly I think the more I look at the blue dragon, the less I like it. The wings are an amazing color, but I am really turned off by the attire. I do plan on getting the monsters to put together my own monster rock band! They will go well with the S14 monster rocker.
  19. I am also hoping that we'll see some nice Sci-Fi sets from Ideas a la Medieval Blacksmith. That seems like a solid avenue. Sadly, yes, it looks like for the trinity of Space, Castle, and Pirates, we will be getting a trickle of sets in the foreseeable future.
  20. You can always try to BL the figs. Luckily, only two are exclusive to the set.
  21. I contacted Lego and they told me it is retired in the US. That is some serious BS considering it was around for only a couple of months!
  22. I speculate that part of the reason that the sets in those waves are so expensive is that, because Lego has focused its DC selection so heavily on Batman and friends, DC sets based on other characters are relatively rare. Sadly, it does not look like next year will change that. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Batman fan, but even I would like to see some novel characters instead of the millionth version of the Riddler.
  23. Somehow I had missed the fact that the slime monster has a trans arm and leg. Wow!
  24. Technically, Cedric Diggory's hair piece was Bruce Wayne's first (from TLBM), so I guess we've gone full circle.
  25. As someone who really likes to keep his figures only in the original combinations (I am weird like that), it annoys me a bit that the stores seem to vary regarding how they choose to assemble the figs. In Australia, they assemble the Teal brick suit like this: https://jaysbrickblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Brick-Girl.jpg However, in this case, I'd wager the kid with the tongue sticking out is not meant to be the "official" figure, because that face is for the blue pug.
