The Light Yellow bird has been in several sets this year. It looks like there is a tan version of the bird up on the roofline but the pictures are so blurry I can't tell if it's the printed one from the D&D CMF or just a new simple tan one. The new flower bud piece looks like it should represent a tulip. There also seems to be another new flower piece in red with 6 swirled petals unless it's stacked epaulets. I must have missed the squirrel. There is also a couple of small turquoise looking things on a couple of the tree limbs that I can't quite make out.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
karrit replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I'm thinking of adding the Friends Botanicals to the new one to make one huge building. There are some interesting new parts used and new parts usage in the Ideas set. Can't wait to see better pictures of the inside. And 12 minifigs plus the puppy and a few birds from what I've been able to see so far. The X-men Mansion I kind of like the building but care nothing about the minifigs. Pictured with the Modulars it does look rather small. If I ever find a great deal on it like maybe 1/2 off I might be tempted but there are plenty of other sets I'd much rather spend my money on. -
Disney Properties 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
karrit replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Please no to them including Angel! She was just in one episode of the animated Disney Channel series where she wreaked havoc. Why she has become such a big thing is abominable. She was never in the movies and if they are using her because she's in anime just NO! -
Disney Properties 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

As a huge Lilo & Stitch fan this is definitely a set I will be getting. Still wondering whether Lilo's house will be the yellow before destruction or the aqua reconstructed version. Would absolutely love it if they included the little hover cars for Lilo & Stitch. I'd even welcome a car if they include the punch-buggy. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
karrit replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm not a big fan of weird fantasy creature minifigs. That was my issue with Nexo Knights. The minifigs just weren't what I was looking for. I don't mind transparent heads, hair & such but I personally don't care for mismatched limbs whether in color or shape. And some of the Heads they had in Nexo were just a bit too bizarre for my tastes. I guess that's also part of why despite really liking the builds in some of the Ninjago & Monkey Kid sets I just don't care for most of the minifigs or the Mechs. So I'd prefer the Castle theme or what little we get stick to more realistic or believable minifigs for the most part. I'm okay with dwarves, elves & such and even a Centaur or two. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
karrit replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm glad they finally have apparently put it back to the way they had said it was supposed to be going forward when they did the fusing of bricks & Pieces with PAB or whatever it was called before. I'll have to add a few more parts to what's currently in my cart to test it out. It was actually working for me up until a few months back. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
karrit replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yeah, but in production timeline they may have been considering it. I just hope they stick with the codes. -
But putting a battery in one's mouth should in no way ever be able to be proved as using a product as directed. If it isn't food it doesn't belong in the mouth.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
karrit replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Ditto! These are not CMF's in any way shape or form. Only possible explanation if they do consider them as CMF's is they wanted a cushion to assess how the use of the cardboard packaging is working whether positively or negatively for the CMF's. Personally, now that we can scan the codes I think the cardboard boxes are working great! If they change that many won't be pleased. -
The problem is that companies should not be held liable for the stupidity/idiocy of individuals. No warning label is going to stop that.

I'd be good with a Joust set if we got some new/different colored Horses & some new factions along with a new princess, queen & king figure. -
Yes, the big one on the front is in English, the one on the top edge is French & the one on the end flap is Spanish. As shown in the posted picture above they cover a lot of the real estate that should be better used to showcase the actual merchandise. I get that there are stupid people in the world & kids do dumb things but sometimes these regulations are pointless overkill. I doubt the warnings have much if any effect in stopping the tragedies the warnings are about. I'd rather just be unhappy about the black backgrounds on the boxes than trying to see the set through all the warning labels and wondering which pictures were left off our boxes. I'll get off my soapbox now.
-
Guess the Motorbike will be crossed off my list. Don't care for the buildable figures.
-
The warnings are overkill. It's beyond ridiculous that these huge warnings are plastered on three sides of the box just to have it in multiple different languages.

I snagged a couple of the Owlery from a Sam's Club that was clearancing them for $17.50 back in July. I should have grabbed a few more. Definitely worth it just for the owls.

I'm surprised no one has had a sale on it. I was able to get a bunch of the Otter one at reduced prices multiple times. Didn't really need the ATV parts but considering the price just for two otters it was worth grabbing the whole set. I've been hoping for deals on the Red Panda one but so far nothing still don't really need more of the vehicle parts. May just purchase a few more Red Pandas off PAB. Walmart doesn't even have it available except through third party sellers at inflated prices. At this point better off with Target, LEGO, Kohl's, Scheels, Best Buy at rrp.

2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]

Definitely need to save cash to pay for the Implant. I probably have most of what it needs other than the tree limb stuff. It just seems to take so long for the instructions to get posted. -

Unfortunately I missed out on the Stronghold as I was at the Dentist having implant work done. Fortunate for my wallet though. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
karrit replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, if all the speculating, guessing & rumors turn out to be true then the only series I'll be buying next year will be the January release. I have zero interest in F1. All the licensed series mentioned so far are of absolutely no interest to me either. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

I was really hoping for the new Potion Bottles & the Bubbling pieces from the Harry Potter Potions Class set. I fear the prices for the animals. -
I keep checking but so far nothing. They've been posting on New Elementary when LEGO notifies them that new parts will be added but so far nothing. I've noticed when looking at PAB that they seem to have once again given a bunch of existing parts new part numbers but most of them are currently showing as out of stock.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
karrit replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I too hope it's totally separate from the CMF's like those listed above and the Super Mario ones. I don't think these will sell well at all. They definitely should not be classified as CMF's. -
When I was in the LEGO store last week I was shocked to find they had totally reorganized their BAM tower. This location for as long as I've been going there has always just had your standard jumble of old parts with some new mixed in. And all compartments had always been a total mix of everything. I was shocked to only find the new parts in the tower. They had all the Dreamzzz parts on one side mostly separated into a section for heads, a section for torsos, a section for legs and a section for hair, hats & accessories. The other side of the tower was set up the same but with all the new Halloween parts. Of course there was some random mixing of the parts in each section but it was very easy to find exactly what I was looking for. I'll be curious to see if they keep this up in the future or revert back to the jumbled carnage that most BAM towers I've seen normally are. They did not have pre-built figures. I didn't get a chance to stop by my preferred store that day so I don't know if they had the newest parts in yet. They are very good about trying to keep the BAM parts organized by section in that store, one of the reasons I prefer visiting that store. Plus the Manager there is wonderful along with her staff and they have a much bigger PAB wall. They also have the Minifigure Factory there so also an additional tower of parts that they let you look through if you can't find what you want in the regular BAM tower. Plus they regularly give a 10% discount on damaged box items.

I wonder if it will include more than one "Junk Mail" tile. Can't wait to see how many letter tiles we get in total. It seems like a lot in the video but I suspect he is reusing some to showcase each feature. Also I've noticed in some recent posts that the interior of the Mail Truck set is decorated with stickers depicting a workshop. We started speculating in another forum I'm on elsewhere why they chose to make the interior into a workshop. Curious what people here think the backstory for that is. I hope one of the designers explain the reason at some point. Just went through New Elementary's review and they say there are 3 of the Junk Mail tile and 5 of the Air Mail tile. They don't say how many of the regular letter or envelope with seal ones are included. I have a lot of the one with the seal from the PAB wall.

Unfortunately I didn't come out of my last dark age & serious debt until several years after those sets were no longer available on the open market. Fortunately, I am now debt free other than my mortgage & car payments and happily retired. If I found those sets on deep discount in today's market they would definitely be bought. I find myself grabbing interesting sets for the parts when I see good deals on them. Anything with castle or ship parts is a bonus.
