As someone who doesn't normally read the Jurassic Park/World thread I welcome discussion about the Dinosaurs here since they are animals. There are a lot of different forums/threads here and I'm sure many others like me mostly visit certain ones that cover subjects/themes we are the most interested in. Occasionally something mentioned here might prompt one to go look in a different thread for more info. I know for me there are 3 themes I rarely if ever even look at and a few others I only occasionally check out if something particular sparks my interest.

The one from 3/7 is now showing "Complete/Canceled" and shows the standard parts other than the canceled ones have shipped but I haven't gotten a receipt yet. Order from 3/12 still shows 'In Warehouse". -

Were the missing parts by chance any of the baby animals that briefly showed in stock but they then notified some of us that they were no longer available? Both of my orders that they cancelled parts for still have yet to ship. One was from 3/7 & the other was from 3/12. I'm going to call customer service to find out what the hold up is but I know they are going to tell me to give it another couple of weeks. -

My orders from 3/7 & 3/12 that they cancelled some parts from are still showing "in warehouse". I would have thought they were being shipped when I received the notice that they cancelled some of the parts last week. Unless it's a glitch in their system due to the cancelled parts. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
karrit replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Personally, I would love it if they did something with Castle going forward similar to what they are doing with Space this year. I would also like to see them do the same with Pirates/Imperials and even Adventurers. I've been okay with the limited castle releases the past few years since they are so expensive but would love to see some smaller sets like they used to make to compliment the large builds. I'd even be happy if they were to cycle through each of these classic themes just concentrating on one per year like they have this year with Space. I'm planning on getting most of the Space sets but am also a Castle collector so both in the same year are a bit much with the bigger sets. Adding in the upcoming safari theme which is sort of adventurers related I'm looking at three series I need to get this year in addition to my Botanicals, Winter Village, Harry Potter, Creator and whatever Ideas sets appeal to me along with any other one offs that I might like. -

The Piglet, Kitten & Calf all had dropped in price. When they did I figured I'd order a few more of each but all have been canceled along with the sheep tops & a rock piece I ordered. I noticed the dual molded legs looked like they also had a price decrease but not knowing which item numbers are actually the dual molded rather than printed I held off considering buying any. Without seeing the backs of the legs it's hard to know which are the dual molded ones without cross referencing with other websites. From what I recall all the dual molded were pricey. I think one was $2 something & the rest were over $3 originally so I've been grabbing them when I do BAM in the LEGO stores. -

As expected the kittens I ordered have been canceled as well as one other part I ordered. But at least I'm still above the free shipping threshold. -
great mixed lot (castle, pirates)
karrit replied to Johnny_Thunderstruck's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I would love to find a lot like that at a reasonable price. Over here that would go for well over several hundred dollars if not more. I watched an Auction for one of the Knights Kingdom Castles that was missing the minifigs & it was already at around $200 when I saw it with about a day left to go on the auction. I've stumbled on a few interesting bits & pieces when someone in one of my LUG's brings in old lots to sift through that they've already taken what they want. I never find anything listed when I look that seems remotely such a great bargain. I think there are too many collectors in my area that manage to snap up all the awesome deals. I get grief at home whenever I buy an auction Lot and the last one unfortunately had about a gazillion nano blocks mixed in with the few interesting parts I spied in the auction pictures. All the old Palm Leaves were all broken when I received it. I did ge a few interesting parts out of it but I still haven't gotten around to really going through it after the cleaning I put it through. -

As long as they don't charge me for shipping or make me send back the GWP I'm not going to worry about it. I think my order was big enough that the shipping would still be free but if they want the GWP back they'll need to send a prepaid label. The rest of the order is still showing in warehouse and is definitely over the free shipping threshold. Now I'm a little worried the same will happen with the kittens I ordered the other day in another order as they are now out of stock but the baby pigs are showing in stock again. -

Just received notification from LEGO that the Baby Animals I ordered when they reappeared on PAB are no longer available & have been cancelled from my order. These were the Baby Cow, Baby Pig & Sheep Top. -
Doesn't look like we are getting any new BAM for Easter this year. Has anyone seen anything new since the Bluebird using the Penguin headpiece & the Polar Bear headpiece? My regular store seemed to get a restock of the yellow Chicken parts & some of the old Chocolate Rabbit parts around the same time. Heading to the LEGO store tomorrow & was wondering if I should be on the lookout for anything newer than the January/February releases.

I hope those doors make it to PAB. -
Some of the supposedly retired farm animals have come back in stock on PAB including the Calf, Piglet, Sheep & Sheep Coat. I think the Calf & Piglet are much cheaper than they originally were based on my old receipts.

Some of those baby animals appear to be cheaper than they originally were. Went ahead & placed an order with a bunch of Viking parts & animals since the Flower Shop GWP became available again. -
Different priorities I guess. Wish we got 4-6 week long holiday breaks like a lot of Europeans get but we're lucky if we get 2 weeks and can actually take it all at once.

The August release of City sets has nothing to do with production issues. It's been reported numerous times that the US retailers want the new merchandise to arrive later in the year to boost sales for the Holiday season which normally ramps up after Back to School sales. Unless that changes I don't think we will ever see the City sets release in May or June here frustrating as that may be to us AFOLs.

I purposely got the Sanderson Sister's Cottage with the intention of using it with my Castle sets. It is a very interesting build with a lot of great parts. I much prefer the Inn build from 31109 Pirate Ship 3in1 set and that could be easily made to fit in with castle builds. I don't know how well the Alpine Lodge would fit with Castle stuff but it does have a lot of good parts in it.

There are a lot of nice new parts in the Snow White set but since it's a licensed set it's unlikely we will actually be able to purchase most of them off PAB unless they get recolored or reused for non-licensed sets. Like those decorative Owl tiles will most likely never be offered on PAB. The Dwarf hats are a bit more generic so there is some hope there. We never did get James Potter's Dark Blue Winter Scarf from the Harry Potter CMF on PAB but did in other colors. -

I'm hoping they introduce more than one classic set each year. Otherwise I'll be long gone before they ever get around to creating a big Lilo & Stitch set. I'm also going to be waiting for a good promo before picking this one up but will definitely be getting it. May even try to build a gem mine for the Dwarves. -
Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread
karrit replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm looking forward to this set. Dark ages during the time the other two village sets were released. I'm really liking this one to be able to add to my collection of other Castle sets. I looked at the BDP sets going up for order today and while I like most of them I never can seem to justify the cost in comparison to getting a brand new official LEGO set that has new parts & new building techniques. While the BDP Mountain Fortress is nice it looks too similar to the Lion Knights Castle to me with a few fancy additions, I could just get another Lion Knights Castle for $30 more. So I'm opting for saving some money and going with Medieval Town Square with all the shiny new townsfolk and goat. Just sorry I didn't buy a few more calves, sheep & baby pigs before they retired them. I will be ordering a few more Cows, Horses & baby Lambs soon, should be good on Pigs thanks to the VIP packs & BAM. I'm glad they put in mostly villagers rather than a bunch of knights as I already have plenty of the recent available ones and a lot of old ones. Happy for the Wolfpack guy since I probably don't have more that a couple of those. And I really like the colors they used on the Tax Collector. What I can make out of the Villagers looks really good too. I've also managed to acquire a dozen Goatherds & a small army of Vampire Knights so I can populate a Batlord Castle as well as set up a goat pasture. -

Well at least it appears to be a complete package with the Witch & Prince being included. I can forgive them not including a few more animals like the deer.
