    I am building it right now but there are somethings that i have to change. The steering on the first axl, the drive axl, the routing of some cables and a lot of other things. The instructions are not complete at all steps but an advanced builders van find it out. Overall its a nice crane but i wont call it the ultimate 42009. There for there are to many flaws in IT.

    Sorry, hate to say but i liked the very first one the most. The spoiler made me think of the Mack from the Rubber Duck in the moevie Convoy. Miss that in the last models.

    The only thing with a flat tow is that it can only be done with a running engine other wise is steering a hell of a job. Like clutch or gearbox problems.

    And the replacement gives them useful information, when it is send back, how the part broke down.

    Congratulations. Model is awesome, real and Lego. Lots of moc/mod possibilities. This is why i like Technic.

    I love it. This is, for me, how a Technic set has to be. Lots of gears and difficult stuff without all the expensive motors and PF.

    I do not get it. When I go to the Dutch Lego site and there I can report all broken parts from 42099. Even hubs and motors. The only thing is that they are not in stock and that they will make contact with you to replace it as soon as possible.

    I use the 107x44 tyre as the 600/65R34. It has a diameter from 1654 and it gives me a scale of 1:15,46

    Maybe my bad, but what is a group? How do i find that in a tyre named 600/65 R 34.

    I think the steph77 Fender. Tractor looks awsome. Hope soon to show my own tractor project after years of only reading the forum, now i AM more active.

    @agrof I would not count on that, I think that the wheels are to small and the planetairy hubs would not fit.

    We must remember that it is still a childrens toy. We afols do different things. Lego tested it as a toy, not as complex RC stuff. I think.

    The second axl would drive forward and the third axl backwards at the same time. That's wy its not moving.

    I love the axle piston engine buy it is to high. Length is ok for a 6 inline. I would like it tot be 4 studs high.

    Omg, this thing is amazing. This is a must buy for me. I hope that the color is olive green. We had 1 Technic beam in this color and it would be nice tot have more. This sets has lots of potential tot moc. I see lots of different Technic stuff, IT looks like the complete range. The powerup stuff is nothing for me, for that money i can buy 4 rovers. I need this color for my tractor.

    I really like the model but the steering sucks. It is not posible to steer the different modes on a floor with carpet. My son steers with the wheels but then the 4 wheel steering is not working because off the space in all the beams. The other things i do not understand is why they use so much grey pins where they can use a blue one, now there is an axl in a round hole. And why they did not use light grey pins on the new steering parts. Here is also a axl in a round hole.

    The Xerion with the exhaust on the front is the old version. The latest one with the Mercedes motor has the exhaust in the middle on the right side.

    Hai John, love the progress. I do not mind the fact that the front is looking like the 42043 because it is good looking. Can you make some more pics of the chassis? I would like to see how you have done it. Greetings Henk

    That has to do with the amount of orders that they have got. They deliver in way of reservations. When i ordered mine delivery date was august. Been there last week and they said that it could be end of juli. With last years orders it came out good so i expect it will be the same for this year.

    Www.1001farmtoys.nl has it for 206. But the claas tractor and the volvo crane are cheaper. I placed my order with them because i ordered 2 tractors, 2 volvo cranes and 1 bwe. Overall i was there cheaper.
