  1. Efferman, it would be nice if you use te round fenders from shapeways for the rear.
  2. @jaaptechnic I really like it but I hate to pay for instructions. For that money I buy more Lego.
  3. No, I've never made any. I would say, use Han's instructions and then modify anything you like. I'am doing research modifing the truck into a tow truck. http://www.falkom.nl/NL/producten/?productGroupId=20
  4. I've done the samething but I've mounted the springs at the end of the axl's. Very easy to do with less parts. In my case the spring stand vertically and works better. The negative site is that the truck stands a bit little higher on his wheels.
  5. I did a re-build of Han's dump truck, made it new for 70%. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5654915 It is a great truck to build.
  6. Hi, i'm also from the netherlands. I am active on the EB forum and at the netherland lowlug forum. A lowlug meeting is a nice way to see other builders but the dutch technic builders are also to find on modelshows. An other great dutch technic builder is Designer Han.
  7. Thanks, that's fast. I never knew it worked that way.
  8. you will have a day and then I will come and find you
  9. That is why they have build a new one. Looking at the pictures again, it looks like there are all the same. On the box there 2 and 1, but that has to be old M motors.
  10. Nice trailer, can't wait to get the truck. @efferman, do you know how the trailer steering works of Scania with the green trailer?
  11. It has to be. The XL motor with the axle through the center would then be the steering motor. By powering the front and back axle with 2 M motors gives a lot more driving power.
  12. It's a very special axl that T_Tank posted. I have never ever seen this. On the left side he has disc brakes and on the right side there a drum brakes fitted.
  13. I have got every thing sepperated in boxes. Every set an own box. When I am using parts for a big moc, I use Excel in my laptop. By braking up the model I can sort out all the parts of the different sets.
  14. I thought they where called skidders.
  15. Every set is in a box and all the boxes are in a closet. When I'm building I use the parts from a set, most of the time my 2 towtrucks. In my laptop I write in an excel document the parts I use from other sets. With the help of bricklink I know exact which part I can find in what box.
  16. @DLuders. We have got a chipper too but I will try to make one at the back of the Unimog or at the front whit a crane to enter the wood. Work is in progress, pictures will follow.
  17. I made a box today fitting in the back of the Unimog. It's a box for carrying wood chips. The only problem is that I'm not sure where the entrance is for the wood chips, the front of the back. If it's the back, then you will have to remove the chipper before tipping and I have to make a 3 point lifunit. If it's on the front I will have to make a pipe over the cab. The chipper is the next thing to make. I haven't got any pictures yet, they come when I am finished.
  18. Thanks guys.
  19. Hi, everybody. My Unimog arrives next week but I have a question. Would it possible to make the longer Unimog version and place the crane behind the cab so the platform cab lift? @efferman Your Unimog is super with the wider cab and platform.
  20. Hello all, My name is Henk but at one day they started to call me Henkl. (because of a typing error of a friend of mine, while pussing the k he also pussed the l) I am 40 years old and living in Amstelveen in the Netherlands. My wife gave me my first, after the dark age period, set about 6 years ago and now we are a 100 sets further. I am a technic fan. My wife likes city and the modular houses. Our first house will arrive next week, the grand emporium. (with my Unimog) I am a truck/tractor mechanic and working with the civil service. For a couple of months now I've been reading this posts and thought lets register. I hope that I can support you all with my skills. Henkl
