  1. That's a fascinating mechanism for triggering the diff locker. I would have assumed that was a feature of the actual Blazer's suspension if you hadn't described it as the diff locker
  2. hmmm, yet another Fast and Furious MOC that completely out-classes the models that LEGO has put together. This looks terrific.
  3. Model looks really nice, I like really like the details and GT3 looks great in stone grey. Kinda funny to think that it's been almost 10 years since LEGO's original GT3 set and the 911 platform is still one of the most popular cars to make MOCs from.
  4. Superb moc, great color choice and style
  5. Model looks great as-is, but I think the front end would benefit from custom fenders and not the "pre-made" ones. Suspension is excellently done at that scale, but I would be personally worried about it falling apart
  6. I see now, my mistake, but I agree those wheels/tires make more sense for a LM-type racer
  7. I really like this design and the suspension! Especially that its AWD
  8. This is a superb model, it's nice seeing more 1:10 MOCs being made here
  9. I like the concept and was thinking of doing this myself for a Bronco or Landcruiser eventually. I have a few suggestions: Given that it's such a large scale, you might want to try using a bunch of angled connectors or some flex cables to make the wheel arches. Raptor arches are massive and can fit the whole wheel. It would be cool to see a front suspension setup where the springs/ coilovers connect to the lower control arm as opposed to the uppers. Most people don't do this in their models for good reasons, but it's always nice to see some realism when it comes to mechanisms in models. Overall, it looks like a really nice model so far. Do you have any pictures of the rear axle?
  10. I like the look of this moc, is it the same chassis as the original Chiron or a new one?
  11. Nice suspension setup, looks pretty reaistic for such a small model
  12. This is going to be interesting when you finish it for sure
  13. Ive made some progress on my Technic FJ cruiser MOC. Ive changed the color to yellow and made major exterior updates: Current model has full transfer case, V6 engine, HOG steering, 4-speed transmission and rear locking diff. I plan to improve the rear locker mechanism in the final model.
  14. I feel like the most important features in these new F1 sets are going to be the aero details and the suspension. Seems like adding a whole gearbox might complicate things so its forgivable that they leave it out
  15. Yeah, Im not sure about how I want to approach the grill yet, I might just borrow from Fedor's FJ MOC I referenced and use a rigid pipe to wrap around the headlights.
  16. Thanksgiving break gave me some time to add some brick-built features and an admittedly out-of-proportion front grill while Im waiting for the yellow and white pieces to come in:
  17. people on this forum really need to learn to appreciate and enjoy the process of designing and building a MOC - I thought most of the enjoyment of technic was everything leading up to the final product
  18. Wow they really missed an opportunity to make this in the same scale as Dom's Charger :/
