Just placed an order for the PF parts. 100 euros for everything, including two PF cables. Thanks for the advice :thumbub: (I tend to go to Bricklink too quickly, because I'm a bit impatient sometimes) -
Hi Mark, Welcome to EB! For me it was simply buying lots of sets....and taking them apart. Furthermore you can use Bricklink to buy additional parts, or via LEGO directly. People at LEGO get crazy when you call it a kit by the way. It's a LEGO set, not a kit Buy sets, buy second hand lots via eBay, buy parts via Bricklink, design in a CAD tool and order the parts you need......all are valid methods to acquire more parts. The two things you need are time and money

Looking at the Bricklink prices, it's indeed best to order them at LEGO directly. The rechargeable battery box saves me a lot of money too http://shop.lego.com/en-NL/LEGO-Power-Functions-Rechargeable-Battery-Box-8878?fromListing=listing -

Sorry, I meant rechargeable LiPo. I own one, so I need to order another one. They are quite expensive, but it's convenient to have more of 'em. How much did you pay for the PF Lights? -

I have purchased instructions for the 458. Looking at Rebrickable, I just need a couple of common parts and additional PF Lights and Battery Box -

The F40 does look awesome too! I bet it was I don't mind that the gearbox isn't complicated. For me, it's one of the best looking supercars, and the retractable/folding roof is spectacular. I will place some orders for the PF lights and extra Battery box and then I'm probably good to go! Sweet, do it! We can arrange a photo shoot @Blakbird The last picture I linked is the version you've built? I do like the entire black upholstery! Did you use custom stickers? I own the Enzo and 599, but I didn't apply the stickers (just one of them if I remember correctly). When my SBricks arrive, I will replace the IR receivers to control it via my mobile phone -

I am contemplating on building Bruno's Ferrari 458 Spider. That will be my first non-official Super Car build. http://youtu.be/gIFQpC4SGi0 It looks awesome in Black... But I will probably go for classic Ferrari red -

Photoshop can do everything that Lightroom does. But Lightroom is targeted towards processing and storing collections of photos. I don't use Photoshop for this, so I am no expert on what PS can or can't. Since I bought a camera, I have been using Lightroom and I really like it. It's much cheaper too, if you are interested in buying an official license. It cost's around 100 USD. I will do some more pictures and send them to you, no problem! Shooting RAW means you have the original image, unedited. When you shoot JPG the camera already does some editing and compression etc. So by using RAW you have the purest form of the picture. But it all depends on what you want to do with the picture. I do think that when you plan on post processing your images, you are better of using RAW. Here are two interesting links on this matter: http://www.slrlounge.com/school/raw-vs-jpeg-jpg-the-ultimate-visual-guide/ http://digital-photography-school.com/raw-vs-jpeg/ -

Let's see what a bit of post processing can do: First Version Reshot in RAW White Balance Corrected Full Post Processing (quickly done, whitening could be better) -

Hi GTI, Can you make sure to embed images no bigger than 1024 pixels (800px is a commonly used width)? So upload your pictures 800x600 to Brickshelf or use Flickr, where you can upload in HiRes and link a smaller version. Thanks! -

Can you shoot a RAW version of the last picture and send it to me? (I will PM my email address) You've managed to get a very decent exposure/lighting -

I really like the way you presented your MOC. The pattern gives it a rough look and the annotations are perfect. Well done with such limited resources. Furthermore I love the color scheme of the MOC, which is applied to the annotations too. You have an eye for detail -

Hi, For starters; please use the normal font when asking a question. No need to make it bigger or bold. Thanks There are currently two topics about the 42029 (maybe I will merge them later). Maybe it's discussed in one of the topics. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=91617&st=150 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=99726
