I think it's a pretty decent playset, but I agree with your sentiment that it's missing the WOW-factor in order to justify the price. Noted; I am not the biggest fan of the franchise, so maybe I'm missing something. Nice review though!

VBBN, one of our Reviewer's Academy teachers, has just published a fine review with his take on the 76052 Batman™ Classic TV Series – Batcave. To the Batmobile....or Batcave in this case!

That's not really an issue. I have been shooting on PVC for quite some time and I hardly notice any (more) dust. And you can always wipe the PVC with a piece of cloth or something. Another solution would be to store the PVC when you aren't using it. I use velcro to attach it to the wall, so it's detacheable. -
Creating a C-model index is a great idea! There have been a lot of great C-models lately. I am also working on a new set index. We could include the links to the C-models in that index and convert this topic to the discussion topic. Another option would be to create a separate C-model index.

We have been revamping the 2nd floor for several weeks. The end is near, which means all the stored stuff doesn't occupy my LEGO room anymore. To celebrate I went to good 'ol Ikea and got me an extra desk. So I went from: To: Gots to love Ikea Having more deskspace makes the entire room feel much more spacious. And finally the desk space to do some proper building (two WIPs visible on my desk). Now I need to get me some of those handy storage-drawer-unit-thingies.

To be honest; I'm not really sure. Usually these kind of products are available in hobby shops, along with paint, canvas, pencils etc. "For designers and hobby projects" is the rough translation. Packaging, lamps, maps, placemats, protective foil etc. -

TLG will release a massive BWE (Bucket Wheel Excavator) later this year. Technic Pro Builder desert752 had already started working on his own version (a Russian ER-1250), when the official news was revealed. His creation feels like a true UCS Technic model in every way. Start digging in the Technic forum to find out which version is better, the ER-1250 or the TLG version

Hi, Welcome to EB! Nice of you to join. However, we've noticed you are resurrecting old posts in Technic and LDD, just to say "it's awesome". Please be aware that useless topic bumping is frowned upon. Have fun! -
Krackle the beast! I might be tempted when everything else fails, but it will definitely be my last resort.

It's a well known fact that this MOC isn't the most stable of 'em all. However, you don't need Technic elements in the legs. Putting it on base plates will help support/stabilize the upper structure. I'm thinking about adding a wall behind it and turning it into a huge vignette. The wall can be connected to the upper body to keep the thing in place.

Completing the RA will give you the benefit of being able to write official reviews once in a while, with sets provided by TLG. But it's time consuming indeed. So feel free to write your own Technic reviews and post them here. You can always join the RA later. -

I'm with you. When you are not a seasoned veteran in the field of Photography, reading your camera's manual and (preferably) reading about the basics of photography (ISO, shutter speed, aperture/DoF) will certainly help you out. I know it did for me. Experiment succeeded! Feels very natural. Is it stupid to say these pics remind me of my own pictures?! (probably because of the grey background) -
