If you have the space, use your laptop. If not, use your tablet Advantage of a laptop is that the screen is bigger (and most likely higher resolution). Advantage of the iPad is that it takes up less space and it lacks a keyboard, so the screen is closer to you than a laptop screen...possibly. It boils down to trying both and see which one you prefer. I don't think there's a right or wrong answer here. I have a computer on my desk with a large screen, so for me it's a no-brainer.

Not bad, but your pictures seem too grainy. Do you have ISO settings on the Nikon? If so, which setting do you use? Looking at the image more closely, it looks like the result of photo editing. Which settings do you use to store the image? Quality seems rather low. The distortion is visible around the model, not the background. This indicates it originated during post processing.

Is it Model Team? Is it Creator? Does it matter? It's huge, awesome and impressive! Great to see that some builders still like to combine Technic with regular LEGO bricks. A perfect example is this wonderful RV made by Eurobricks member Chapachuk.

This is a very nice MOC! I would like to see a body that's a bit wider and maybe a stud lower, so it will cover the lift arms with spring attachment points a bit. Not sure whether it would indeed look better, but I think it's worth a try. Great work though

I think I already specified it: "after the start of the contest" To be clear; that's the 27th of November. I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's merely a disclaimer. I calculate the score with and without "joined date check" and it seldomly leads to a different result.
