  2. Can you please use an image hosting service like Flickr or Bricksafe, where you can embed the images directly into your post?
  3. Hi, Besides the title, which I will change, can you use an image hosting service like Bricksafe of Flickr where you can directly link to the images. We don't like links to external sources. Please correct the first post. Thanks!!
  4. So, I have finally built this beast. Great thing about numbered bags is that you can do a co-op build. I have built it with a mate in two nights. Some of the build is repetitive, but building together is great fun. As for the end result; all the functions operate rather slowly, but that doesn't take away the fact that it's a pretty impressive set. And another great thing is that the base of this sets, has given me inspiration for my robot project. I even ordered a second copy, because it has a lot of parts I can use. All in all I like this set. Functions not that great, but great parts pack and an impressive model.
  5. Hi, Welcome to EB! Please be aware of topic bumping. You are replying to a 5 year old post. This is frowned upon. Please read the site guidelines and enjoy your time on EB!
  6. Hi. Please don't hijack topics by posting links to your own model. Especially when it's not even based on the same set. Thanks!
  7. That is definitely a valid point. That's why I have added it to the rules in the first place. Okay, let's make it not anymore difficult, or unfair.....let's keep the size limit as it is. I'm still thinking of adding a week or two to the deadline, because I have lots of things planned around the deadline. So that would work both ways. I have addded ONE WEEK to the deadline. Size limit remains 45x45x45.
  8. I have seen one of the entries and it made me realise that 45x45x45 is pretty limiting for a battle bot. What is your guy's stance on increasing the maximum size and adding a couple of weeks to the deadline?
  9. I was actually thinking about it, but that would lead to lots of protest. Maybe if we add a couple of weeks. The size limit was to avoid really big robots, but 45x45x45 is in fact pretty small for a battle bot.
  10. Very nice creation, and a nice presentation!! Looking at your robot makes me realise that 45x45x45 is actually not that big for a Battle Bot.
  11. The way you changed it, is EXACTLY what I had in mind. You have added enough information to make it interesting for EB and its members Furthermore, I would like to say that I am a Mansion of Madness player, so I really like the Lovecraft theme. Well done!!
  12. We have changed Black Bird Custom's name to Black Phoenix. Good luck with your project.
  13. It's against site guidelines to SCREAM LEGO Ideas promotion. You can talk about your project and MOC and put a link in it, but this is purely promotion. Please change the content of your first topic to be more informative instead of promotion.
  14. Cool I really hope so! Wouldn't be the same without you.
  15. Hi, Becoming a member just to promote your Kickstarter project isn't allowed. This is not what EB is for. Furthermore you have used the name of one of our staff members. I find it hard to imagine that you were able to find this Technic forum to promote your project, but you don't know who Blakbird is. I would absolutely die for some cool custom rims (which should fit the 42039 tires btw) , but I really don't like the way you approached this introduction. I will therefor lock this topic. I have adjusted your account so you can send me a PM if you'd like to discuss further.
  16. That's because they represent the same set/model/vehicle. Like the Mini and the mini...well uhh.... Mini. They are supposed to look similar.
  17. Very nice build! And very original. I love it. It might be a personal taste, but if you can use tiles on the floor, it might even look better.
  18. Exactly! I love it too.
  19. One of our members, Tamas Juhasz, has won the Build Your Dream LEGO Porsche Contest last year. The Grand Prize was a trip to Stuttgart. You can read all about his experience in his elaborate report!
  20. This is a very cool topic! Thanks for sharing indeed. I will frontpage this report tomorrow. Really cool that you had such a great experience
  21. For those of you who didn't understand Milan's last couple of posts... NO
  22. I don't see any reason to limit the number of battery boxes. Or simply guide them using LEGO parts. Verdict: Yes you can
  23. I expected this question earlier. I will get back to you on this one. I'm inclined to say yes, but I will discuss it with Milan and Vengit.
