Hello Hadassa, The minimum age for this site is 18 years. That doesn't mean we don't allow members under 18 years old. If you act maturely we tend to condone under aged members. But you should definitely not advertise your age So please remove the comment about your age (edit post) and you are good to go! Welcome and have fun!

Trust me.....you will need post processing. I am not too familiar with Photoshop, but here's a tutorial for Lightroom. I really recommend using Lightroom, since it can do lots of other stuff as well, sharpen your images (always necessary when shooting digital), adding some depth, etc. It's also very convenient for managing your collection. And the price is very reasonable. -
Hi John. Beware that this is not a wishlist topic, but a rumors topic. So focus on rumors and not on things you like to see (or not see) Thanks

You're talking professional photo studio here. This is very hard to achieve at your home studio, since the 200w lamps will illuminate the room (and subject) very much as well. -
For starter we could improve our posting behavior by not bumping old topics This topic is half a year old. Let's not bump an old topic to start about BS posts. I know the rumor topics can be hard to maintain, but this is not the place or the time the discuss this. I will close this topic.

While that's okay, you will never get a 100% white background. You need post processing for that. I used a white background for me reviews when I started and it took me a long time to post process all of the pics. That's why I shifted to a grey background....which accidentally looked very cool, so win win. -

Sariels tutorial is indeed a good starting place. Basically, it boils down to post-processing. You won't get good results without. I have used Lightroom for this task, but you can use Photoshop, GIMP or whatever. Another option would be chroma keying (using a green or blue background) and removing the background programmatically. If you are really interested, simply invest some time to search google for "removing photo background" or "white photo background". I just did that and I noticed there are some online tools as well. Not sure how good they work, but it's worth a try. https://clippingmagic.com/ -

STOP doing this. These kind of comments keep derailing the topic. There's a wish list topic for these things. -
We are looking into this problem, but it's not an easy one. Our server Admin is currently looking at possible causes, and solutions. The problem has been reported all over the board, and yes it's very annoying. I think it happens in Technic more often, because there's more activity, more topics, more posts, etc. My best guess is that it's some sort of database lock. I will keep you informed.

Please don't feel offended...but here's what I think: Not sure about your other topics, but this one doesn't look very appealing. You haven't posted a picture of the actual model, or a video. What draws people into a topic is a nice presentation, which means some pictures, a video etc. Half of the people will probably skip this topic without reading any of it. Calling a model Ultimate is something Jurgen has started, by vastly improving upon an already great model. I am not sure whether your creation justifies the term Ultimate 42065, since it doesn't even resemble the original 42065. This is more of a C-model than an Ultimate. Furthermore you are talking about a subtractor mechanism and suspension, yet you don't show the mechanisms. Since that's what makes it interesting, it would be cool to elaborate on that. Add these things together and people will quickly skip your topic. Hope I don't sound to harsh, just some honest observations. YMMV. And last but not least....presentation! Presentation is key. Or did I already mention that -

I completely agree. Nothing wrong with criticism. But for me, critiscism means arguments to backup an opinion. Not just posting that something "sucks". At the moment I am not too fond of the Truck either, but what if you are a 10 year old kid and you get it for your birthday? You would be thrilled, right?! Besides that, a 6x6 Truck with big tyres is something totally different than yet another construction vehicle. So put things into perspective and appreciate what TLG is doing. -

Amen brother. We have been getting new awesome parts, parts in new colors, new tires, etc, etc, etc. The only "mistake" TLG made is making 2016 freakishly awesome. That's hard to top. I must admit that I find the 2017 sets underwhelming myself, but that doesn't mean that I need to be negative over and over again. I agree that our stance towards TLG should definitely be more positive. -

These kind of comments belong on Facebook and not here on Eurobricks. Moneygrab? It's combining three sets into a homage set. How is that a money-grab? Furthermore, you are saying that this "rc crap" doesn't even function properly, while you haven't even seen a video of the model, or seen in it real life. Bear in mind that we are still talking (childeren's) toys here. You have your rights to be disappointed, like the majority in this discussion. But please refrain from posting immature negative comments without providing proper arguments. You can do that elsewhere, not here. Exactly. -
Hi, Welcome to Eurobricks. Mind you that EB isn't a means to promote your Youtube channel. Simply join the discussions and conversations instead of promoting your channel. You can have a link to your channel in your footer, that's not a problem. Thanks and have fun,
