You mean that the last post was previewed in the topic list? Looking at the old interface, I am not sure what you mean. -
A bit late with my reply, but that is exactly what we are looking for. About the criteria. I have discussed it with Milan and we don't want to make things more complicated than they already are. A cool looking battle bot with a properly working signature move, which has the best chance to win the battle. I know the latter is pretty subjective, but since we don't have actual battles, the voters will be the judge of that. Basically, these 3 criteria: Good looking Properly working signature move Likeliness to win the battle

Ads combined with Ajax calls. Apparently there are issues with Ajax calls, when the board is using external Ads. This resulted in a broken response, hence the grey screen hanging. I must admit that the solution was very simple...turning Ajax responses off. We could have solved this issue much earlier, but we were looking in the performance section, instead of the config section. Anyway, we can continue the dribking booooze discudion .. now ... hick... -

Some are nasty indeed. But the good thing about software problems is that eventually they can always be solved (okay, almost always) -
Who's in for some action?! Who's in to win awesome prizes? Who's in to have some fun?! Come and join the TC11 Battle Bot Contest in the Technic forum.

Cool! That's great to hear. Took a bit too long, but I'm glad we've got this nasty bugger. -

I can't seem to find the Problems Browsing The Technic Forum topic, so I'll post it here. If you can find the link, please. I think we have solved the browsing problem!! -
Please read the prize distribution again. The raffle prize is a Volvo OR an SBrick. And not everybody here owns an SBrick, hence the PF category. MOCs already presented elsewhere are not allowed, sorry. I'm sure you can build a new one. Ahhh okay. In that case...Vengit is sponsor so they decided which prize is for which category.

Technic 2017 Set Discussion

It doesn't have to be street legal, so I'm fine with the tires protruding beyond the fenders Anyway, Portal Hubs would be a fine solution for me. -
Something is worth as much as you a appreciate it. This has nothing to do with monetary value To be honest....I would pick the CLAAS over the BWE any day! To avoid the "SBrick are at an advantage" discussion, we've created two categories. All contestants will have equal chances of winning a great prize. And yes, since it's Vengit providing the prizes, we have chosen to assign the bigger prize to their category.

Anyway...the All Terrain Truck and Extreme Adventure are starting to appeal to me (already liked the fire truck) -

Very true, on both accounts. Maybe it isn't even a TLG employee, but a hired employee. Who knows. Apparently for us, it's a way bigger deal than for TLG. -

I am really surprised about this as well. You would expect someone from the Technic team running the Technic stand. On the other hand; they are very reluctant to show the functions, maybe that's why TLG doesn't really care. Still baffled though. -
We have thought about that. but it would limit the contest. That's why you need at least a signature move/weapon and you can add extra stuff. After all, we are trying to have fun here There's a raffle prize this time It is studs, but Technically the 1L is smaller than a stud. Basically it's three of these in each direction:
-
The rules clearly state the two options. UPDATE: Diagonal measurements can be greater than 45 studs. No max 45L wide, deep and high. The original limit was 35 so you've already gained 10L. Studded pieces are definitely allowed! Okay I will try to come up with actual voting criteria. I originally wanted this in the info, but I also wanted to get the contest up and running asap. I see how this is important though. Will get back in this today. In short; a cool looking battle bot with an properly working signature move. But I will discuss this with Milan.
