LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
You beter not jinx it in first place…. Anyways, if it’s true, i wonder what the costume series is for? We had 40th anniveary for minifigure in 2018 and we had 90th annivesary for Lego in 2022. Last years was 45th anniversary last year. So I dnon’tknow…. -

Athenian figures rather than Athens setting. :) Anyways, now you mention that, i could see us getting philosophers like Aristotle and Plato, warriors like Alexander the Great. -
I’m not surprised that they are going to do Tom & Jerry characters. I mean we ha Looney Tunes characters that are quite violent. We have Marvel and DC themes. Oh yeah and Harry Potter. It would be neat to have Hanna-Bar)….ara CMF Series!! But I’m not very looking to see an oversized Jerry figure like Itchy, Tweety and Gonzales (Sppedy), Chip and Dale (well, they can be used as mascots for Disney park….) I don’t know how likely they put named characters as an accessory like Tweety and Jerry along with Tom and Sylvester respectively but we have bunch of named characters as accessories in past series!

LEGO City 2025 SETS - Leaks, rumours, discussion. (Animals too)
Lion King replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Exactly, this. It’s just no point to argue with legoturtle over this City subtheme stuff. I realy don’t mind Space and Johnny Thunder being included in subthemes. I don’t mind that TLG put Arctic and Deep Sea sets into City last year. I feel it’s just silly to argue about them as much as F1 cars. TLG has been doing different subthemes for years. -

I…still don’t get it what you mean? You mentioend “modern day” then now you said Nexo Knights? I don’t think Nexo Knights setting in present day - they look like they are futuristic to me, mobile castle, high tech weapons/vehicle…. If you are thinking of futuristic verison of Wesern settings like…Cyber Sheriff? Alien Cowboy? Tribal Warrior Rboot? Anyways, yeah of revival of 90s sets would be great for CMF series. -

I have no idea what you mean by Athens (the city) but yeah, I will welcome Greeks and other historic figures you mentioned. Not sure what you mean by that. It sounds like you are talking about soliders in our time? Or “City” citizens? I’m just scratching my head at your comment. -
Beuase i thought it was a beta test in UK and we won’t get it outside UK. The temple looks pretty cool - I don’t think we have gotten a big temple set in City in past, which it’s really neat.

I think it’s becuase cars would look like Foruma 1 but not too specific in City? Just generic cars for City while Speed Champion cars are IP licensed and very specific. Just like there is a car that looked like Jeep in City…. -
@Arstotle, I agree with you on small, printed common pieces like cookies. I don’t think they would do printing for big pieces like balloon pieces. I could not remember if there is any sticker other than a family poraiit in Santa’s Visit cottage set. I still have it on display so I will check it later this week. But yes, I do prefer printing!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Personally, I would like to see more Japanese minifigure like. Updated Ninja, Kimono Girl, or Samurai (such as printing, dual-molded parts, etc). Sumo Wrestler would need a new body mold… he looks like he has lot of weight. Ronin or Archer minifigure would be cool. I love Kendo Guy and Sushi Chef. I can’t help myself but I’m a shinnichi (aka japanophila…). I want more food costume!! No burger, grape, apple, pineapple, crossiant, yet. No taxi costume yet! -
I keep wishing that lego would do something differnet and unique that Modular Town is waiting for - Sushi House! I feel it would be perfect for a corner building…. With roof around a building and there would be a cherry blossom tree down street.

Didn’t we get Pirate GWP last year?
-
Speaking of printing, @Arstotle…. I don’t know if they will do printing for balloon pieces? I don’t have Holiday Main Street set but I do have Santa’s Visit and Alpine Lodge (the latter isn’t built at the moment). Santa’s Vsiit has a few stickers but I don’t know if there are stickers for both Holiday Main Street and Alpine Lodge sets. I’m hoping the balloon pieces would be printed rather than stickers….

Space-saving display ideas for modular buildings?
Lion King replied to Juide_Sock's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have built two cupboards I bought from IKEA in 2021. Then I got into Modular Buidling Colletion in 2023. They take up space in both cupboards so FAST (I built Boutique Hotel, Bookshop, Police Station, Jazz Club and Downtown Diner). I just get two widest buildings (Assembl Square and Natural History Museum). I feel I will put two 1.5 Modular’s on the bottom shelves while the normal modular buildings on upper shelves. Also, my stepsister sent me a pic of her coach’s husband’s modular buildings. He had collected SEERAL and it looks like he builts a “island” in middle of basement, which I love his idea! Oh and I’m not apartment owner but I am liviing with my sister so i have similiar issues with you. -
Agreed, i feel that’s about realistic about the size of hot air balloon. Usually, winter village sets have 4 or 5 minifigures, so I feel hot air balloon will only bring one or two minifigures.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Right. And Police Station had references to crime drama tv show. It has no reference to next modular building (Boutique Hotel) I beleive designer who did Natural History Museum has reference to Year of Space stuff.
