[TC2] Cat. B - Captain Lysandre Bernadotte
NOD replied to Khorne's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
A good decision to choose Captain Lysander Bernadotte as the main character! I like his clothes and the oriental background. What I didn't notice until now is that the eyes are green and white. Is it Lloyd Garmadon's head? -
Great story with Konrad seeing a vision of the past! The ruin, overgrown with plants, is very nice built. I like the market place in the past version with the happy residents even better. The building has a very beautiful architecture. I like the door and window curtains. It's good that Konrad was found and rescued by the expedition people.

This is a very good build and a funny story! First picture: Only the face and the flag are visible. This reminds me of spaghetti westerns by Sergio Leone Second picture: We can see Steve with an apple. Third picture: We see Steve passing a merchant on his ship, holding an apple he found in his hand. Fourth picture: Some boy is wanted. It looks funny how Steve drives down the sloping cobblestone street with his wooden box on wheels. On the mast pirate flag, a grinning face, an apple in his hand.

A great build and a good story! I like the decor of the eating establishment. The paper windows, room dividers and the wooden decoration on which the oil lamps are located are striking. I would like it if in ERA III the cities of Luyang and Oryant continued to belong to the Lotus Empire. I find it interesting and exciting when there are 2 NPC faction cities on the island. This also creates the opportunity for quarrels and small conflicts. Because we're talking about eating establishment. I'm just remembering an happening that happened recently. I was sitting with some friends (drinking buddies, scoundrels and pirates) in a tavern eating establishment on Tortuga: At the table next to us sat an Oleander who had just ordered a salad. The unfriendly and rude innkeeper eating establishment owner didn't feel like making a salad, so it took 30 minutes for the guest to get it. Jean-Pierre the guest, looks at his plate in disgust and complains to the eating establishment owner. Jean-Pierre: "Mösiö, there are no snails in the salad!"

I like Steve's childhood! It's funny how the little pirate plays with his ship. On land he has already built a fortress out of sand. There is a palm tree, flowers and plants on the beach. The enemy (crab) can already be seen on the right of the picture.

[ENTRY] [LARGE] Escape from the Imperial Trading Post
NOD replied to A_Goodman's topic in Pirate MOCs
Great diorama with lots of action! The rock is very beautifully built and I especially like the sloping path leading up to the trading post. The trading post with the entrance area, main building, tower with crane and the courtyard with various trade goods looks interesting. The pirate boat is also very beautifully built. The various fight scenes are realistically portrayed in terms of the movements. Also great is how the escape scene was done. -
[ENTRY][LARGE] The Merchant vessel Margaret Hamilton (More pics!)
NOD replied to Elephant Knight's topic in Pirate MOCs
A very beautiful and well-built ship! I really like the shape of the ship's hull; it almost looks like a model ship. The masts, rigging and sails are realistically built. Together with the 4 Lego Boat, Mast Rigging it is also easy to play and minifigures can be placed. -
A very beautiful version of the Flying Dutchman! The ship's bow is well built and the figurehead looks scary. The ship's hull is angled at the rear end and becomes narrower towards the stern. The various decks of the ship can be reached via stairs. The rigging and sails are elaborate and detailed.

Exciting continuation of the story, with great close-up photos! I like the walls in the background and the river in the canyon. I'm already looking forward to a sequel. What is “Die Chiffre”? Can you use this to find El Dorado, the gold city kingdom?

Well-built underwater diorama with a myzec tower! Iauln is a sympathetic character. I like when a character is used in several stories. I am convinced that this boy will become a good captain one day. Maybe he will also become a scientist?

[ENTRY][SMALL] Steve's Arrival in Port Royal
NOD replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Pirate MOCs
Ohhhh, I didn't even know Niamh is an existing name. I only know Nizam from Prince of Persia. Now I understand the joke. I like your builds and stories because they are funny. Did you send me a package for which I had to pay the postman 20 Doubloons? In the package there was a letter and a lot of trash (packaging material). Letter: "Have fun with your new air guitar ." -
A diorama with lots of action. The biannual pirate meetup right in front of the fortress is a funny story. The fortress is well built and I like it. I also like the pirates' festival activities. But the black water, it would be good if you changed that.

Thank you very much. I'm glad I built an interior this time, because it really makes the diorama more interesting.

Great story from the Lotii perspective! For them, of course, the others are barbarians. Commander Lei Feng is sympathetic and he did his best in the Battle of Seawatch. Fortunately, the envoy gave him another chance. The Red Dragon's Hall is elaborately built with many decorations. The minifigures are well chosen.

[ENTRY][SMALL] Infamous Steve and the Fountain of Fortune
NOD replied to Juhlhaus's topic in Pirate MOCs
This is a very beautiful and imaginative story! Like the message on the scroll of parchment, the Fountain of Fortune is both happiness and a burden. The ship, treasure island and volcano island are well built. Plus, the appropriate surface for water and round bricks for the waves. Even the parchment scroll can be seen in the bottle. Good photo story of the trip to the island, excavation of the treasure, discovery of the Fountain of Fortune and the bottle with the message. -
[ENTRY][SMALL] Steve's Arrival in Port Royal
NOD replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Pirate MOCs
Funny story! I finally understood the beginning, after I did some research with Google. A hint that "Stiamh" is Scottish Gaelic for Steve would be good. Because not everyone at Eurobricks speaks English well. I understood the rest of the story. This is really a correct and overzealous Colonial Officer. He wants to earn a promotion quickly. Because of such an officer, the pirates are gaining popularity. -
[ENTRY][SMALL] International Society of Steve
NOD replied to BrynnOfCastlegate's topic in Pirate MOCs
Very funny story, Captain Redbeard gets a bottle thrown at his head! I like the first photo very much, because it looks like the bottle is really flying through the air. The wooden walls with the windows and the door are well built. -
Interesting story, I'm sure Steve will also complete the final task. The rock formation with the steps is well built.

Thank you very much. Exactly, soldiers with morion helmet also belong to Brethren of the Brick Seas. Thank you very much. Correctly said, a governor is obliged to do everything for the good of the city and its population.

I like the different dioramas, especially the winter landscape with the underground cave. You have written an interesting novel. Ada is a good new character.

Category A: 'Old Scores and New Blood' The Pirates Awaken Transitional Challenge II A01S by Philippe, auf Flickr Transitional Challenge II Category A A04S by Philippe, auf Flickr In the year 624 in the Brick Seas, the city of Punto Sur was an important trading city for merchant ships and pirates. Punto Sur, Maldria, Eslandola Don Alejandro Martínez de Recalde Sáez de Vasoçavala y de Sancha de Larrinaga was the governor of Punto Sur. Ayuntamiento, Punto Sur After a storm, a small ship sailed into the harbor on February 28th under the command of Captain Diana Price. Sailing to the New Haven Sea Diana and her crew were tasked with exploring the situation and gathering information. After a long visit to the tavern to get some food, the first port of call was an important contact person. Tienda Del Comerciante Del Evento, Punto Sur Alvaro Gomez had now become a major businessman with important contacts. He was even friends with the governor Don Alejandro Martínez. Don Alejandro Martínez remembers this deal with joy. With the Royal Factory, Punto Sur became an important Eslandian city in the New Haven Sea. FTA and the Cascada de Oro 112x112, 2st chapter, Punto Sur December 623 Heavy Losses on Both Sides as ESL Clashes with Sea Rats. An arrogant and conceited Eslandian pirate hunter attacked the neutral Sea Rats merchant fleet. The Sea Rats defended themselves bravely despite heavy losses. The flagship Perla de Labuan and the ships La Gomera, Estrella and Pergrine II survived the naval battle. The ships Pride of Pontelli and La Comete III were boarded. Kings Port Advertiser and Ship List (Vol. 8, Issue 4) End of June 624. Commodore Kane's fleet is beyond the range of the fortress cannons. First came some rowing boats with sailors, traders and patriots (all were pirates). Then Commodore Kane came with his guard. The meeting point was the building of the city Guardias de Punto Sur. Transitional Challenge II Category A A16 by Philippe, auf Flickr Transitional Challenge II Category A A14 by Philippe, auf Flickr The armory and soldiers' quarters are located on the ground floor and basement. Sargento Ernesto Parra walked down the spiral staircase. He was very friendly and really tried to look after Alvaro Gomez. Unfortunately, he was distracted by the painting of Lisa. On the second floor there is the VIP lounge (Lounge for Scoundrels) and accommodation of the port commander. Transitional Challenge II Category A A17 by Philippe, auf Flickr Intermediate event: The Governor of Punto Sur Don Alejandro Martínez de Recalde Sáez de Vasoçavala y de Sancha de Larrinaga had given the port commander, Teniente Jan Vargas, the important task of inspecting the ships outside the port. As he was about to climb the ship's ladder, the ship's cook was probably emptying a bucket of kitchen waste. It was probably just a coincidence and understanding that the trash fell on his head. He saw his target within reach, his hands and head were above the railing, he was almost on the main deck. As he looked over the railing, he saw a sailor who had slipped on a brush on the ship's deck. Unfortunately, this brush flew into his face. Jan Vargas lost his balance and landed in the water. The Governor welcomes Kane in the lounge. Don Alejandro: "Señor Kane, I am pleased to make your acquaintance." Kane: "Commodore Kane" Don Alejandro: "Of course, please excuse. Commodore Kane. I am Governor of Punto Sur Don Alejandro Martínez de Recalde Sáez de Vasoçavala y de Sancha de Larrinaga." Transitional Challenge II Category A A13 by Philippe, auf Flickr Kane: "Hi Al" Don Alejandro was really angry, but he showed no reaction. Kane: "I found 20 Doubloon on the street, is it yours?" Don Alejandro: (He looks at the coin greedily.) "Yes, Is the coin round and does it have a 20 written on it? That's exactly the coin I lost and was searched." Kane: "Yes, that's right, you described the coin exactly and it undoubtedly belongs to you." Don Alejandro: "Commodore Kane, thank you for finding my coin." Kane: "I realize that we now understand each other. Don Alejandro, an agreement between pirates traders and Punto Sur could be beneficial for all."
