You are correct; most of the internet is not safe. That is why I value the spaces that are. I am afraid we have opened a Pandora's box here with the relatively even split on the poll. A good part of the community wants no change, but choosing no change could now upset another significant part that feels the proposed changes were "dangled in front of them" then snatched away. I thought of a proposal that attempts to combine elements of several of the poll's proposals: a separate website (albeit presumably still hosted on the eurobricks.com domain). This forum could stay essentially as it is, while the new site could have its own front page and top-level forum structure for the proposed alternative discussions.

Please do not destroy the community we have built over the years. Any of the proposed changes would fundamentally change the nature of the forum. Eurobricks has always been a "safe space" where people discuss LEGO bricks, which is something I like. If I am having to dodge discussions of fake LEGO, something I do not like, it is no longer a safe space, and I will quietly disappear. Please let our community continue as it has been.

I like the trees in the "November Uprising". Very autumnal!

I'm actually on desktop, with the browser window set to precisely "whatever-I-think-looks-good" pixels. When I adjust the width, the banner stays centred and the logo stays at the edge of the window, becoming smaller when the window is narrow enough. I think it is working as intended.

The new banner looks great! I did have a laugh because, with the width of my particular browser window, Steve is getting clocked in the head with that Eurobricks logo. His friend seems to be enjoying it, though.

By the way, did I miss seeing the winners for the random draw amongst those who voted? I cannot find them listed anywhere.

I liked the bonus points system, as it takes away the question of whether to vote for yourself or not. Last year, I got busy and did not vote right away. Then I realised my entry was in the top three, so all voting options became too tactical, which seemed a bit artificial to do, so I ended up not voting. That's why I made sure to vote right away this time. I agree that all the rules got a bit complicated this time, though.

I like this sort of random useless moving thing. I particularly like the Stop sign.

I find it interesting that you thought this, as I consider physical bricks an advantage when choosing which models to vote for. I prefer physical models, so I would rarely vote for digital entries. Probably just me, though.
