  6. I usually start out by finding a real world machine to follow. Sometimes I find the dimensions sheet and scale down all of the dimensions too. After that I pretty much just start building, as zblj said...go with the flow. tim

  10. So you can run wires through a turntable and have the turntable spin indefinitly. It is an interesting idea that could use some more polishing. tim
  11. I have used a worm gear in my truck trisl trucks because it offers a lot of reduction for more precise steering. Bellow is a work in progress photo of how I did my steering on my upcoming crawler. Disregard the ugly roof . tim

  22. I think they just do it because they can. They pretty much own the market so there is nothing stopping them. Unfortunately it pushes the sets out of my price range as I would rather spend $220 on something else. tim
