    I finally finished reading the book last night. I think it would have been cool to have a section of building instructions for small and useful mechanisms, but I know you said you had many limitations. Overall great book Sariel, it was a good read. tim

    As explained in Sariel's book, the knob gears do have a tendency to wear down much faster as well as not transmit power at a constant rate (because only 4 spokes). tim

    I got my copy in the mail yesterday and spent about and hour reading through the first 4 chapters. The book is beautifully illustrated and even though I consider myself a pretty knowledgeable builder, I am still learning some things. Great book Sariel! tim
