  1. Bricklink.com is a great place to find all sorts of parts and buy them individually or in bulk from various stores. Here is a specific link to all sellers selling black sprocket wheels. Look around though, at least one seller sells every type of Lego part! http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=11&itemID=75310 tim
  2. Looks like you scored! Back on topic, awesome articulation of the hand. I look forward to what else you have built. tim
  3. @Robert I think I remember from an interview that it is a mix of both. Certain parts (mini-LAs, pnuematics) they design the dets around them to incorporate the pieces. Other parts (like the one above) were probably invented for a specific purpose. tim
  4. The only problem I see with this is that I am guessing that at least half the population of the votes was from people who don't actually like Legos. TLG probably wont sell the set anyway so it wont matter. tim
  5. Looks really compact. With a little refining you could probably fix the bending of the legs. I would use a smaller bucket as well. tim
  6. This truck looks beautiful! (As always). I love all the functions you managed to fit in. tim
  7. When i saw the grey bridge layer i was fascinated! I have seen that type of mechanism before but i never thought it would be possible in Lego, very impressive. tim
  8. Why is TLG producing yet ANOTHER mobile crane?! I dont understand why almost every year have a set that is a crane. tim
  9. I meant with the fake engine! tim
  10. Well the photos are certainly better than Alasdair's . The progress looks great, have you done a drivetrain test yet? Tim
  11. The white and black combination looks awesome! better than the orange i think. tim
  12. I don't think this question exactly fits in the Technic forum, however my simple answer is: any camera is better than no camera. tim
  13. Maybe you could fit some on top of that L motor on the left? I love how fast you build. tim
  14. I think the xl would spin the axle instead of spinning the rc motor because the rc motor is turning with it as well. I cant wait to see how the whole truck comes out, great concept! tim
  15. Santa delivered no Lego stuff this year, just mostly camera stuff . tim
  16. The color is beautiful! This set would no doubt stand out from every other set ever released. tim
  17. Looking great as usual Effe, nice job. tim
  18. I built a walking excavator some time back, and that too had several functions below and on top of the turntable. Fitting in all the pneumatics and motors was truly a challenge. I hate to be a downer, but I dont think it will be possible to completely remote control, but good luck if you can! tim
  19. Regardless of what Lego says, you built a great car to go on top, nice job. tim
  20. Wow thanks for the work Jennifer. It is your models that first got me into building Lego technic. I spent hours copying your mini excavator and skid steer loader when I was young. I hope you have some more projects in the works! tim
  21. That is one HUGE collection of supercars. They all look so awesome . tim
  22. You bet it is . Welcome to the forum, you have discovered one awesome community! I look forward to hearing more from you. tim
  23. Looks pretty cool, my advice would be to speed it up a bit more. For me, time lapse videos are best when they aren't too long (1-2 minutes). tim
  24. My best advice is search Brickshelf.com for builders like Nico71, zblj, and others who have built fantastic off-road trucks. tim
