  1. @Ngoc Nguyen Perhaps you can edit the topic title to include the set name?
  2. It's there: p138, 3rd column, 3rd from top. But my initial source was this nice review of new Technic parts: https://www.newelementary.com/2023/02/lego-technic-parts-review-42152-42153.html
  3. +O beam coming in red in 42153 NASCAR Next Gen Chevy Camaro, finally! Also, 98989 is coming in Black in 42155 The Batman Batcycle.
  4. So, 5x 7L flip-flip beams in DBG, nice!
  5. I understand that, but they should've used the shorter panels on the non-spoiler side as well then. But maybe it's just weird of me that I hate getting unequal amounts of left and right panels in a set?
  6. Here you can also see the diffuser is asymmetrical in panel usage... very unsatisfying!
  7. But my mods were done on a prototype nearly 1.5 years ago. I don't know what T-Lego or CaDA changed in the mean time -- the base model could differ arbitrarily for all I know. And I disassembled my LaFerrari months ago. So at this point, your modding efforts will be as good as mine...
  8. Did no-one yet realize that fits seamlessly to round off the front? Also, can replace the black Bionicle tooth in the headlight, as shown above. A glow-in-the-dark tooth fits perfectly above it, if you like an angry nighttime look.
  9. Just finished bag 1. But mine is missing for the roof air intake. Instead it includes 1x . Yes, in white. Weird......
  10. In fact I used a lot of different parts, in order to rebuild the aspects of the current bodywork that conflict with the wheel arches.
  11. Exactly. Same as the rear wheel arches BTW
  12. Such a QA issue would never happen with TLG, they always get their gearbox right, right?! At least CaDA doesn't have the hubris of releasing at the same time a book titled "sense of perfection"...
  13. Lots of competition in Chinaland it seems. I saw another video of another Chinabrick company last week, also releasing a 1:8 Apollo Evo, also in red...
  14. Niiiice. I guess the roof air intake and huge fin are specialized parts?
  15. @nerdsforprez I'm not aspiring to be admin, but...
  16. Yes found it. The idea came from this vid. But besides the 2nd motor and switch I only used parts from the set itself, and positioned the battery box more cleanly. I literally didn't have anything else -- the BWE was the first set I bought after 25 years of dark ages...
  17. At the time I added a 2nd PF XL motor and a switch (to reverse it). No additional parts needed. It ran faster and more powerful, by getting rid of the 24-tooth clutch gears (at own risk of course). IIRC the 2nd motor placement and corresponding gearing was shown in a YouTube video. However, it didn't really improve driving. When the machine goes faster, the top starts wobbling, making the driving rather jerky.
  18. Mileage varies, it seems. For me the worst 'crackers' by far are . Perhaps local climate and differences in temperature and humidity play a role as well? Here the official classification is "humid subtropical". In summer my man-cave gets really hot for a prolonged period, whereas in winter humidity is very low.
  19. I've observed cracking in all bushing-type axle connectors, except this one: From the touch of it, it seems to be made from a softer plastic, and I don't really like the look of it (lack of shine), but it does seem way more durable...
  20. In my experience LBG seems weakest -- connectors with axle hole like are cracking over time even without use, just lying in their little drawers. (And no direct sunlight, ever.) Much fewer issues with black and red, for example. I barely own any yellow though, so lacking experience there.
  21. A bunch of my yellow ones cracked, even with light/careful use.
  22. These have just been brought back in set 42145, so hopefully they'll be available for reasonable price soon at Lego Pick-a-Brick. Try Dark Gray or just Light Bluish Gray? Typically can be replaced by 2 of the thin version. For that price you'd better just get set 8070 or 8145 second-hand
  23. Wonderful model!! But may I ask why the Lego version has no taillights?
