  1. That sounds like a good price for the current stage in product life. You might get a lower price only if you set a price alert at a 'meta-search' website and wait patiently for a few more months for a sudden discount. If you want it now, get it now. :) Here in Switzerland it was ~260€ for one day last week (Black Friday). Now back to ~300€, has been so since October.
  2. It's on Black Friday sale for even less in Switzerland...
  3. @Equilibrium Indeed it looks like a plausible future part! I bet TLG already has a couple of test parts like that in their lab...
  4. @Equilibrium Interesting part in your profile pic... Care to discuss it? This thread is the right place
  5. @kbalage Thanks for chiming in with background facts! I was merely reasoning on common-sense presumptions. Okay so more sets keep 'falling off the truck' and ending up in non-recognized hands. It could be that it's indeed harder and harder to contain such 'incidents'. But what I don't understand is why the first leaked photos of a box are often so grainy or blurry... Everyone has a 20MP camera with autofocus and autostabilization in his pocket nowadays right? Were they actively being chased by armed guards when photographing the box? I'm not one likely to put on a tinfoil hat, but it almost seems like TLG themselves might have a hand in 'leaking' just try create excitement and fuel hype... Okay I'll stop ranting now
  6. There's a little bit of evidence. For example, 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3 has all in red except ONE in dark gray. That one is visible under the windshield where all is black. I bet it would've been cheaper not to have 1 pin in a different color -- apparently esthetics won.
  7. I presume PB has no relationship with TLG, so they're not bound to embargo dates and are at liberty to discuss rumors and leaks. Consequently, PB won't get sent any free sets for review either, like Sariel and Racingbrick do.
  8. In the (grainy) pics of the inventory for set 42151 Bugatti Bolide, I think I'm seeing the thin 2L liftarm in Yellow...
  9. Regardless of content, €60 seems near the median price of any coffee table book in full color with premium binding. Perhaps it's the very notion of a coffee table book that seems... uhm... redundant?
  10. Regardless of people's opinions here, you may be violating Rebrickable's T&C. https://rebrickable.com/help/mocs-submit/ says in bold: "Premium MOCs must have no inventory errors at all."
  11. This community never ceases to amaze me, please don't change
  12. Indeed! We're already seeing those new panels having axle holes, to keep things aligned -- good! But to get those dense builds, we really really need also and but with axle holes only! (I'm sooo tempted just to buy a handful of and on each saw off 2 of the axles...)
  13. Niiiiiiice Now please tell us how you made them!
  14. I got this one still on my to-build list: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-107169/hitchhiker/mechanical-spider-reloaded
  15. This whole thread stands as a masterclass in creative building with limited parts. True Lego spirit. Cheers!
  16. Awesome!! I thought it might be, hence my question... If you want to have the honor of being the first to post a photo of it on Rebrickable, I'd be delighted!
  17. Very cool, looking forward to see this develop! Say, what's that car in the background (other than the Sian)?
  18. In "today I learned": This spring part is new this year and may be of interest to some. https://rebrickable.com/parts/77834/brick-special-2-x-4-x-5-with-spring/
  19. Okay thanks. They look nice and sturdy. But unfortunately not available here.
  20. What brand/type are those 5x12 drawer things?
  21. Processing time seems to have improved as well. May latest order from 22 Sep arrived 13 Oct, exactly 3 weeks later. This was 'standard' parts only, with slowest shipping method. Another plus: at CHF 2.80, PaB shipping costs are still very low compared to almost all BrickLink shops, even domestic Swiss ones. The very cheapest shipping I get from BL shops in Poland and Portugal, somehow...
  22. New Technic parts have appeared on Pick-a-Brick. All the new panels from the Ferrari Daytona SP3 are in stock. Also its yellow diff gears, but these are surprisingly expensive... Disclaimer: mileage may vary per country...
  23. The former. They started appearing recently. But probably it's wiser -- cost-wise -- to have a few more weeks (?!) of patience till PaB offers them....
  24. Well, as long as the mix comes all from the same distillery, it's still called a 'single malt'.
  25. Just had the pleasure of re-building Anto's gearbox using spur gears only. Very satisfying! That thing is smooth AF now! Even in 1st gear it spins on if you give the input a good twist...
