  1. Are those brackets still that expensive? Seems to me they got cheaper on BrickLink over the last year. I have no explanation for that, nor hard data...
  2. Or the trusty 1x2 tile or new part 1748 in trans-clear.
  3. All used parts are clearly visible though... Mounting points were , now replaced by (#3) and and . This puts Black on top. Mirrors are built from .
  4. White air tanks were available from Bricks & Pieces until at least 2019, which is when I ordered some there, according to my administration. IIRC they were only a few € a piece, as opposed to 20€ on BrickLink. Haven't checked recently though.
  5. I guess not the most useful re-color, but #17/18 panels are coming in Reddish Brown: Interesting re-colors here too: A-frame in brown, driving ring extension in red, Camaro wheel arch in lime...
  6. New Technic parts like the new small panels from the Bugatti Bolide (set 42151) have appeared today on LEGO Pick A Brick -- but all marked as "out of stock" for now.
  7. It checks out in the virtual model as well, no collisions.
  8. Very cool! But it seems those diagonal 15L beams had to be sacrificed?
  9. I'm loving all those new details! Add a few more details and you might surpass the 5000 part count haha! Especially those gas reservoirs are very effective in their simplicity -- can't believe I didn't think of that myself! It would be great if you can also post one or more photos to the Rebrickable page!
  10. The plaque looks very nice! The Huayra BC in the pic has a roof scoop which the Lego model doesn't -- although maybe you plan on adding one?
  11. A roadster is open or convertible, and couldn't have gull-wing doors. So this model is definitely not a roadster. Most bodywork details are modeled after the Huayra BC. But even then, no 2 Huayras ever seem the same. Each car is made with details according to the buyer's wishes -- well, they're paying millions anyway! So we took details that we liked from different photos of different cars. And of course every builder is welcome -- even encouraged -- to customize the model even further to their own tastes!
  12. Isn't that just a +O beam of the crankshaft? High resulotion image
  13. They're inside the front wheel hubs, not really visible. I used Red as well. The wheels are from set 42115 (Lamborghini Sian), which was kinda assumed to be an obvious parts donor.
  14. Yes they are used in the exposed exhaust. Usage of all 3 of 41677 and all 2 of 33299a can be seen here: I used Pearl Light Gray (PLG) because it fits best with the Metallic Silver (MS) of the pipes, but the latter color offers too few connector types to achieve the last upward section of the exhausts, hence the usage of a few PLG parts. A cheaper option would be to have the exhausts entirely in Light Bluish Gray. In the Black version's inventory, only the Black 32L hose and the Blue 30L hose are cut, as follows: Black 32L = 10.5L + 10.5L + 7L + 2L + 2L Blue 30L = 26L + 2L (+ 2L leftover) None of the 2L parts are visible. Don't tell anyone, but you can get these cheaply by the bucket-load on AliExpress...
  15. In the antlers, looks like some shade of blue for 10197? Source
  16. Due to the 'open' nature of the car, every 5x7 frame will be visible somehow. But some more than others. The 5x7 frames added on the following steps of the Red model would be the least visible when in LBG: 1 2 16 21 31 45 227 (x2) 230 236 (x2) 401 (x2) 421 428 That'd be 15x LBG and 10x Black.
  17. @EdwinSiu10 Aiii that sucks! That would be something to contact Lego Service about... Also happened to me a few times, though not recently, so I hoped they had improved the "shopping experience"...
  18. Do you mean the suspension travel is small, or the leaning travel is small? Edit: I do recall that, during building, I also thought that the rear axle movement was rather small. But when finished, at full weight, the amount of movement was good and appropriate.
  19. If you have your sets and lose parts in Rebrickable, click the "build this MOC" button and it'll tell you which parts you're missing, and which sets will give the most additional required parts.
  20. Awesome to see!! Ah yes, I forgot how problematic those are... One might be able to get a second-hand Axalara T9 in the local online marketplace, that should get you settled. Has other funky parts too. I suspect those will remain cheaper from LEGO's Pick a Brick for quite a while...
  21. Bugatti Bolide (set 42151) is also a great little parts pack that'll provide a good deal of new, small panel fairings used in the Huayra.
  22. Some alternative ideas for the front splitter & grille... Not sure if it improves things, but just putting it out there...
