Nice refresh, and I did not even know this model existed... It is older that I am for sure Do you have built it irl too?

I would pay 50€ for a bag of black, red or white bodypanels. But since LEGO wont be doing that, I'll get the bodypanels from GoBricks if I need them. In a useful color. I am not loyal to any brand, I pay who ever can deliver what I want. Wait 3 months and I bet you could rebrick the Sian in different colors using the Power Of The Dark Side. No need to buy a knockoff Sian, just get the single bricks you need from a quality source to fullfill your dream build

[WIP] Audi R8
Gray Gear replied to Jeroen Ottens's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It looks like an intresting model, do you have a video showing off the functions? Your approach to building on this model is very weird... 1.Designs chassis with tons of functions, motorizing everything (exept driving+steering?!) 2. Decides what car could be built on the completed chassis (more or less, features dont really fit) 3. Realizes there is space to fit drive+steering, so time to add it. What the hell dude? Also adding some more pictures would be cool, right now the front grill looks like a black hole, and I'd like to see the rear as well. -
First of all: I dont know anything about Bionicle, I have always been into Technic. But I do like the look of the Bionicle caracters. Especially your creations here. I like the girl (it is a girl, right?) in the botton left corner best. The dude in the bottom right corner is very cool too, especially his brickbuilt mask. But the crossbow of the girl is so beautifully shaped, and I like the way her body was made, using technic panels, tread wheels and plant pieces. The color combo is just amazing too.

Can the bike steer too? In the vid it looks like it is just trying to drive straight -

Creativity In The Darkness (1 hour challenge) -
Hello everybody, this is my entry for the Eurobricks Flower Show. Due to my lack of time I decided to challenge myself, to see what I could build in the timeframe of 60 minutes. You might be thinking: This doesn't look like a normal garden Well, I've had multiple problems. First of all, I dont own any green bricks, flower pieces or anything else that would be usefull for this contest, so I had to get creative. My brick collection is probably > 50.000 bricks, but I dont think there are even 100 green ones. I build technic Cars in 1:8 Scale, so building a normal Garden really isn't for me In the end I decided to create an entry with a bit of a deeper meaning. The colorful Flower surrounded by darkness represents our beautiful LEGO builds in these dark times yeah kinda r/Iam14andthisisdeep I know, but I dont care

Is there a tag for the beginning of the post title, like the "[TC18]" in the technic section for example?- 15 replies

Nice review, very relaxing to watch. The color vomit on the inside is actually not that bad, and the return of the black 2L axle is definatelly a step in the right direction. But the blue pins still remain a huge visual problem. The color inconsistencies are an absolute disgrace. They are already charging waaay to much for the set, so at least the bricks should be perfect. And after the focus on the glowing lights in the commercials no glow in the dark pieces are close to a scam. Even my 5€ tiny turbo had 2x 4L bar glow in the dark a few years ago. But the 380€ one? Nah. The set has some big flaws, but overall it is definatelly a better car than the chiron imo.

@Sariel did you try something like this? I would try it myself, but I have other projects to work on, and all my diffs are used up By offsetting the wave selectors one or two gear teeth you can reduce the space between the gear changes. It was just an Idea, and it works nice. But i dont know if it would work well in your application. Ill just leave it here and take my leave

Yeah any discount is fine this short after realease I am not a bike guy, but it looks like a cool model to me. If y'all can pick it up for like 40-45 EUR in a few months its actually not a bad deal
