  1. This was a little too hard on the new Divers sets. Don't ya think?
  2. Not really a DOTS guy. But they make some nice accessories. I saw this guy make a tissue box one time out of DOTS pieces.
  3. ...and I have subscribed. I hope it gets through. I've always wanted to see a modular bus terminal. Maybe with a carryout next door to it.
  4. I think that's what I and everyone else here wants to know.
  5. Yeah! I've seen lots of TV 6+ vehicles across the City theme. But I have never seen their base. A TV Studio/News Station by TV6+ would be awesome.
  6. @legobear I agree with you 100% with the Divers sets. Though I thought it was 2015 that those came out. Not 2017. I better check Brickipedia.
  7. @AnyColourYouLike @TeriXeri It would be a real letdown if there were no Town sets as those along with the Great Vehicles are two of six things that really keep me attached to the City theme. The other four being Fire, Classic Police, Coast Guard and Airport. Personally, I would like to see Medical get its subtheme slot back like it was in 2006.
  8. @bricksboy You know what you should do? Make a detailed modular bus station to go with it and submit it to Lego Ideas for the 2021 modular.
  9. Just saw some Monkey Kid sets on Instagram. They look good.
  10. You're only a year older than me. Small world. Welcome to Eurobricks Tomaaki!
  11. Oh... Limited brick issue? If so, try LDD. You can do something much better there.
  12. I appreciate the attempt. But I think we're going to have to work on color coordination a little and improve on the platform some. Perhaps you should look at some bus MOCs on YouTube or take influence from City sets number 60026, 60154 and 60200. I honestly would like more buses. Except for the 2011 Public Transport and 2017 Bus Station sets, buses are exclusive to the mega sets. My hope was for either an entire public transport subtheme for City or a city bus as a member of the 2021 Great Vehicles lineup. Unfortunately most people on here think both the former and latter are unlikely.
  13. I actually see lots of resemblance. Except this wave doesn't have a big chopper. Don't be upset at me, but I was kinda hoping for one. Nowadays, the big helicopters are the only City helicopters I like.
  14. I saw the new Divers sets. Those builds look really good. I might actually buy some of the vehicles (especially the big ship). I don't know if I'll buy the base set though because in my town, everything sea related is done by a single organization.
  15. Now THOSE I am interested in seeing. I wonder what named characters are going to be in those sets. Surprisingly, I'm actually not too fussed about the named characters.
  16. I see some of the things on this list happening. But the slopes and tram rails may be a bit hard.
  17. Yeah! I regret not getting the 2016 when I had the chance. Though I'm assuming they are trying to make the sets resemble the vehicles on LCA as much as possible.
  18. Oh man! I never thought of something like that. They did something similar with the old level crossings for trains. I'm saddened I haven't seen one with the 2018 train wave.
  19. Surprisingly, as far as the airport sets go, 60262 is the only one that I am actually considering buying. Then again, 60261 is just a 4+ set and the air race isn't that bad, but I'm not too keen on the whole pull cord helicopter concept - but I'm going to get used to that as it seems like that's going to be the thing for City from now on. The 2010s have definately been left behind and the 2020s is a new era. The wing piece doesn't bother me that much and neither does the cockpit. The building was a little disappointing though. I think its a fixer upper though like the service station was. For 2021, I'm setting my standards very low for City. That way I won't be disappointed in what comes. I'm already expecting certain things for next years wave.
  20. Amazing! Seems like something I can use on an actual Lego railway.
  21. Nice job! I love every single detail about this.
  22. Not sure I remember you and don't try to refresh my memory because it'll just be a waste of time. LMBO But I do have to admit, that up until I saw some guide videos on how to build little shops, my building was terrible. You should've seen my horrible attempt at a post office back in 2018 But thanks to both those guide videos, some help from personal friends who are also Lego town builders and influence from current sets - I have definately improved and people on this thread seem to agree. I tried to build a uniform store just last week as well. While other people were impressed and gave me advice, I was personally unsatisfied with the build and ended up breaking it up. I mean...it was just something I made just for the brick of it. But anyway, thanks for the feedback. Its this type of feedback that encourages me to build more. This actually goes well alongside my burger bar. I'm currently making plans to make a pizza stand too. I'm thinking on whether I should do the same for the doughnut shop too.
  23. I haven't posted on this thread in a while. So here i go. Stanley Milwaukee - a mechanic and tow man who works for Auto Service 24/7. Veronica Post - a beautiful postal worker that Harl has a crush on. Rocky Rhodes the president and C.E.O. of Mr. Chill Ice Cream.
