Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Jack Sassy replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'll drink to that! -
That sounds nice, reminds me a bit of the paleontologist from Series 13, she could also be useful for some adventuring: Last year I bought a small set from City line thus obtaining this interesting torso with legs, it definitely has some potential, but I'm yet to add it in any scenario:

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Suppose so (Fountain of Youth), still, we mustn't give up hope for the new theme. -
Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

The film isn't finished yet, so clearly Lego wouldn't have much material to work upon at this point. I think it's best for us to wait but not get our hopes up too much. -

Jack Sassy replied to omnihash_cz's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Aye, it be quite the build indeed! I have been looking for a post and this one should do just fine, I shall get onto it in few hours. -
[OFFICIAL] "How to Be a Pirate" LEGO Little Golden Book
Jack Sassy replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Almost feels like the golden age. Wonder if something more will follow afterwards... -
Most impressive from Lego. Don't know why I thought they would never make a Titanic model.

Love the shaping on this one. Where is that screen that you used on the right with the world map from?

I really like the lantern piece from 2018. It's so useful in so many scenarios - whether it's a pirate, adventurer or any other scenario, it looks so good with the figures. Can't recommend it enough.

Love the funkiness it's developing.

Haven't been to one of those in a long time.

Once again teasing us with that Duplo castle! Really have to buy some Duplo bricks one of these days, then I shall be unstoppable! (Might be able to build a pirate pub in the end after all.)

[MOC] Black "Brick" Pearl (motorized with PF)
Jack Sassy replied to Stoertebricker's topic in Pirate MOCs
A jolly good version! I really like this version of the Pearl (there are so many of them nowadays). Amazing job! (Would be interesting to see someone build Black Pearl on a wider brick-built hull. I know that Babyteeth created one but I need more. )- 6 replies

If we were to learn how to grow such palm trees that produce rum, then no one would be able to stop us. We would supply every pirate pub in the world.

By Joe! This has turned out into a fine vessel, might I say so meself. An inspiring job ye have done here, all that detail and the sheer size of her. Truly wow!

Truly an amazing build this is! Feels like something I could've built if I didn't use so many of the pieces from Barracuda Bay for my project and modifications of the Barracuda herself. That tower build looks so good, and I like all those little accesories added here. Also, I could take inspiration from that forest vegetation. An amazing build!

Why does Playmobil still have Historic themes, but not LEGO?
Jack Sassy replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm only making an assumption (I had similar conversation with Governor (you know who, I'm not going to tag him) in Pirates sub-forum about why Lego isn't releasing anymore Armada and Natives), they might be doing this because are scared there might be too much violence, possibly some discrimination. It's only my guess and one that sounds sensible to me in this situation (could be also that they're not just interested in it). Lego knock-offs all the time make sets that could never be released as a Lego set. I don't have any source right now, but I hope you get the picture. -
By Joe! You outdo yerself with every new build. This has way too much detail for an eye to take in right away, it's so huge! With such speed ye will construct HMS Victory sooner than I finish me own project (I'd take that over anything any week of the month). Wow!

Custom Lego Hall of Armor by LukeClixBrix
Jack Sassy replied to LukeClixBrix's topic in LEGO Licensed
An amazing job done on this MOC! The tiling on the floor looks very nice and I like display of all those Iron Man suits (nice integration of the set into the MOC itself). Astonishing work! -
Another good modern rendition of the classic set! Like the way those Barracuda Bay islands have been shaped for this MOC. Funnily enough, I was planning on building a small dinghy for Bluecoats, something like this one. Only thing is, I accidentaly ordered that mast part in blue and as it turns out, yes, that colour might be rare for the mast, but the 8L bar that goes on the side of mast is available in blue only as a rare factory mould for 1 EURO!! (it never was released in any set in blue colour). Might finish that dighy at some point. Anyway, good job!

Where may one find such island?

A remaster that was much needed. Looks so much better than the original. Also, I like that you remade Captain Kragg into casual minifigure. Good job!
