  1. Good build, like that green river. Good job! Sauce always establishes peace between two enemies.
  2. (I added my reason for edit as I initially wrote no lynch instead of lynch while at the same time I meant the latter. Got a bit confused and needed to reread some sentences over to understand. ) If we need to vote then we need to vote. Vote: Cheryl (Hinckley) I never really liked the cat hair you drag around with yourself, dear. Nothing personal. I hope that you're innocent but since we need to vote I'll vote on ya. Hope it puts us on good terms as independent business ladies in Main Town. Edit: (I didn't notice that Ron had voted for Cheryl too, if the situation gets out of hand, I'll remove my vote.)
  3. Well, I suppose there's a fair point in here. Lynch would be bad for the lot of us as mafia would close in on us double at any point. I just don't want my conscience to chase me after voting someone innocent.
  4. But can we continue about our business if deep down we know that thanks to us an innocent citizen was killed? I can't take a such a chance, we need to think through before making assumptions about everyone. If before I knew y'all as my neighbors then now I can't go trusting any of ya!
  5. I'm very angry because now we know why so much of the fruit I sell is rotten - must be the mafia delivering them. We need a vote today otherwise can't get on with a damn thing.
  6. My Pa would rolling in his grave now! Mafia in the streets of our fair city, how can they even do a damned thing like that? Alright, who here is of Italian descent?
  7. Congratulations @Captain Braunsfeld, yer MOC is... See it yourself.
  8. ''Daily maintenance is running. The site will be available in 1 minute.'' At least it says so for me right now
  9. You know, I've been toying with this idea of Johnny Thunder going to Caribbean and searching for Captain Redbeard's treasure. This building would fit well for Havana, if there was such a story ever to be told.
  10. Amazing work! This one must've take you long to build with all those plates, no? Once again, you deliver another high quality MOC.
  11. Thank you, I might take a picture or two overviewing the whole thing. Revolution that is presented with the riots in pictures is something I made up, the story isn't finished just yet.
  12. A good review! This can work perfectly as an extension to the Scorpion Palace or even as an updated version of the original itself.
  13. Not quite exactly. I do have this Flickr album which features few shots of the city. It is built on a long table with about 11 32x32 baseplates in length and 2 32x32 baseplates in depth. As I said, it can be labeled as a ''compact city'' but it is quite a bit larger than what you're planning (as it seems). I might take a picture of an overview later.
  14. I've done something that could be labeled as ''compact Lego city''. Would be interesting to see yours.
  15. I made an enormous mistake long time ago by storing all my parts in multiple shoe boxes. Whenever I need something I go through all these boxes.
  16. A good review as always. With all this power in your hands, there is no question about running for president. JackJonespaw for president!
  17. Well, hello everyone!
  18. Aye, at first I glance I knew that 43202 could be perfect as a building in Havana.
  19. Indeed! I must say, this MOC is really lovely, it's good to appreciate the smaller things on this forum and this one is just amazing, especially the cave underneath it all. Good job!
  20. Unless they are included in more sets, then yes, they will be expensive. Best suggestion is to keep looking on B&P for them, if Kevin's torso is there, then others have to show up soon too. I would like to think that there could be some use for Penguin's torso from next year in some Adventure. To me, it looks more like a torso for Carlito's Way but I also see it as a good oligarch villain torso too: (Speaking of which, have we ever got Al Pacino in Lego form?)
  21. These are quite something, never seen anything like it. If I understand correctly, Lego stopped making them in 1993.
  22. I managed to get quite a few bigger sets displayed in my small old room. I decided to build a city, made jungle, sea and the city itself. Most of the buildings in the city are from actual sets (some are Hogwarts parts) and jungle consists of a lot of trees from sets, in the sea I built two custom islands from Barracuda Bay set (my latest addition to the city scene) and added the Barracuda herself in there. If we were to talk Creator Expert cars then that's a long shot, I don't have any advice on that subject unless simply not buying them, they are cool as display pieces but present no actual value in such a city scene as mine or anyone elses. Hope this helps!
  23. Not much of a kid at that time anymore but I entered a brief dark age from 2017 to 2018, sure, I did buy some sets between but had absolutely no idea what was going on in the community and what new sets were released. There is one thing I noticed, some friends I went to school with back in the day stopped playing with Lego around age of 10 if I remember correctly. Oh yes, that time was quite dark indeed, some people laughed at me because I hadn't let go of the hobby.
  24. Well, this went way off-topic, I am really sorry everyone. I guess I am to be blamed in this too, though I tried to keep it in its borders. Anyway, I think I've got all the answers I needed to my questions, if anyone else has some good versions for my original question, I'd be glad to hear it.
