  1. I bought it, but haven't opened just yet, saving for december. I can send the picture to ye once I obtain those epaulettes.
  2. @MarcoMak, congratulations, yer MOC has been frontpaged!
  3. Quite some time ago, MarcoMak shared his pirate ship display with rest of the world (that being Eurobricks). Now he has taken it to the next level with his newest MOC - Pirate Paradise! Come, if ye dare, and check it out in LEGO Pirates forum!
  4. A beautiful model indeed, haven't been active recently, therefore didn't see this before. Good job! Indeed, as long as @Captain Braunsfeld has nothing against it, I can do it.
  5. Do ye miss the old days of Classic Pirates, back when builds were so much simpler yet as pleasing as now? Then check out a new privateer barque - The Lucky Seashell by Legostein in the LEGO Pirates forum!
  6. Not much information can be found about these except that they are labelled under name ''Fenikss'', supposedly, this particular model is called ''Pigeon'' (translation from ''Balodis''). A quick search through internet won't give much useful information at all, so I shall try with what I found: they were built in 1930 and were very similar to 1928 model. There were in total 40 of these models across the entire city. Mechanical parts were manufactured in Germany by Friedrich. Krupp A.G. and Henschel & Sohn, all the rest was made in Riga by company ''Fēnikss''. That is about all I can find, if ye do wish to know even more then there is an option of travelling to Riga (one in Latvia not U.S.A.) and seeing a restored model in the railway museum (but that be a long shot ).
  7. A good tram MOD indeed! I know it is a different model but this LEGO version still reminds me a bit of these ones from Riga:
  8. Haven't bought a Ninjago set since 2016, I think this one might just be good enough for me. Thank ye for the review!
  9. All new fonts take some time getting used to. On another matter - has the size of text been enhanced?
  10. Those different lightsaber colours have always seemed to me so beautiful, an addicting factor.
  11. Good to know it is in good hands.
  12. Ah yes, I seem to recall that. Back then it did not sound like a successful idea to me, not surprised that it died, just rather saddened by its quiet death.
  13. I would if not for the limited time I have. Ask rest of the staff, though it is rather busy with running the entire forum and blog. Either way, I have high respect for what they are accomplishing.
  14. Words cannot describe how magnificent this model is. Truly outstanding work on every little detail! (I almost want to blog this)
  15. A lovely build! With all the vines and rust it reminds me of those abandoned Siberian locomotives. Stunning work!
  16. But what if those themes are kept as single set GWPs like Bionicle? We are lucky enough to be getting Indy as a full theme but it seems others might not go the same route (just me speculation).
  17. Love the simplicity of these islands, remind me of backgrounds for older LEGO sets. Good job!
  18. Another great Aquanauts build! I like the chosen colour for rocks. Good job!
  19. That is a beautiful looking locomotive (and tender ), looking forward to seeing the finished product. \ Interesting story regarding origin of your name.
  20. At last, Pirate Cats! This be an extraordinary MOC, good job on it!
  21. Ah, so that must explain why I could not obtain City of Lanterns from me local retailer.
  22. It is approaching. I am not aware, what happened with Monkie Kid release?
  23. I believe no one is sure about it, we don't have much to go on with about release date besides pure logic and speculation. On a side note, an idea popped into me head about that 150$ set. It could possibly be Brunwald Castle from Last Crusade: Would fit with LEGO making multiple castles now.
  24. Many people use Duplo bricks to fill out enormous areas of a MOC, therefore such store as this could be helpful. That is just my opinion, surely someone who has experience selling Duplo can give ye a better insight into the matter.
  25. October, November? (I presume)
