  1. Aye, a City set to be exact, 60397: On the side note, I do hope that this Eldorado Fortress leak is true and we are getting such set this year (again, nothing has been confirmed, so let us not get our hopes up too much, in case of a disappointment).
  2. As always, an amazing model. Love all those little details, truly a fine Art Deco (I think ) example. Outstanding job!
  3. Because outsiders can't beat Classic Pirates at their own game!
  4. I know, but always keep a bag of salt next to ye.
  5. Let us not get our hopes up too much. That way, if the leaks aren't true, we shan't be so disappointed.
  6. Perhaps, if ye wish to make her small, ye should change the style of the vessel to, say, a brigantine? These are only my suggestions, I meself am no ship expert (currently building my first ship MOC ), do what ye think is the best.
  7. That would be rather useful for me as I am looking for a darker rowboat piece (black being far too dark, dark brown seems to be just the right amount of dark). Would be lovely to see this piece in dark brown in the future.
  8. Ye might want to raise the hull by a brick or a bit more. At the moment cannon ports are far too near the water line, that also applies for the forecastle. Ye might want to also make the vessel itself wider (except for the stern and captain's quarters, they seem fine as they are ). So, make some adjustments and let us know how she is coming along. (It would certainly be useful for ye to hear some ship expert opinions on this matter.)
  9. She is truly a beast! Love how crazy that hull goes and all those little details ye managed to cram in here, truly outstanding. That sausage capstan is greatly appreciated. Outstanding job!
  10. New logo looks lovely! Am interested about the upcoming contest.
  11. Love these designs, they look cute and recognisable. Appreciate the fact that you made them in black and white. Good job!
  12. That stud on top is there so that Captain Jack may escape from his exile.
  13. I was cruising across Baltic Sea and the ship I was on had a gift shop which also sells LEGO, turns out the two smaller Indiana Jones sets were there with tax free price. I would have bought them if I had some space in my luggage. Now I must wait till June for them to be released in my country.
  14. Good thing pirates operated outside of West Indies too.
  15. I do like them mortars.
  16. The smaller set is said to have two seals, I believe.
  17. Looks lovely, colour scheme is beautifully diverse. Good job! Does she have any interior to her?
  18. Aye, the banana bunch looks lovely, however, those leaves look too unrealistic to me.
  19. A beautiful MOC, love the detailed wildlife and that dinosaur. This MOC reminds of a scene from Adventurers Dino Island wave advertisement. Good job!
  20. Aye, after all, he is quite a bold one, dressing as he does.
  21. Nay, last LEGO Store in me country closed down in 2018, hence I cannot obtain such figures unless whilst travelling abroad. I might, however, possibly pick few of those torsos up on BL for that vessel project of mine (which has been stuck in one phase for the past 6 months ).
  22. A good blog, Sire! I do appreciate the inclusion of skeleton history in Classic Pirates.
  23. Aye, Classic Pirates was right before my time (I am young but not that young ) and during 2009 and 2015 I was more interested in LEGO City and other themes . Managed to obtain something from all three themes nowadays but it certainly is much harder acquiring bigger sets. I am hoping this new set will give us and the theme some justice, to catch up with other classic theme 'revivals'.
  24. Think I saw a similar project on LEGO IDEAS a longer time ago. Though it didn't reach 10,000 supporters I would like to see this one achieve that milestone. This is a very lovely model, all the little details (like the albums) are very much appreciated. Good job, supported!
  25. One can use that torso for some of the undead crew of Black Pearl, or simply just as a decaying pirate skeleton.
