I like that hair combo with fedora, I am guessing it is from a Friends set, but which one?

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Jack Sassy replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
A lot of people have talked about possibility of Fate of Atlantis as title. I am not familiar with source material but it could be the best bet for now, either that or any aforementioned suggestions. -
Great review! There has always been something charming about Countach...maybe it is just me. Have to buy this at some point.

Weren't there sources that said there is going to be a Creator Viking ship this year? I hope it doesn't mean the Marvel one. I have nothing more to add about future Pirates sets. All I know is that Pirates would sell rather well, so why shouldn't Lego do it? It wouldn't hurt for them to make a pirate pub, would it?

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Jack Sassy replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think that ever since Disney is distributing this film, it might become rather popular among youger audiences, perhaps others will be in the limelight again too. I have a feeling they might make Lego sets similar to Jurassic World sets, if you know what I mean. -
Love this one, those karts look very cute, good section of race track too. Lovely job!

I managed to spot a white 32x32 from this year on Brickset. By the looks of it, there is no difference. -
A lovely build indeed! It is compact, yet has so much detail, I am especially fascinated by those 1x2 tiles angled on the side. Good job!

The Return of the ... (Chapter 1)

That's lovely to see the old pirate pub tavern again (). Can't wait for more parts on the story. -
There is definitely some potential there. What about the torso?

That be a rather good theory (which I didn't think of meself ). There are quite a few parts that have been marked for deletion on BL, due to a newer, more accurate entry. This could be a similar case or something else.

Perhaps, though I don't believe they could provide me with the needed information. We don't even know if the said list of minifigures is oficially by TLG.

[MOC] The Captain's Daughter (reimagined interior)
Jack Sassy replied to VaneStream's topic in Pirate MOCs
A jolly good pirate pub. That lad sitting next to Flint seems strangely familiar to me, not sure why... Anyway, good job! -
Hello, everyone! I am not sure whether this is big enough for a topic of its own but I will create one regardless. I like to browse Brickset database to find first few minifigures from specific themes, for instance, CTY0001 (City), SW0001 (Star Wars) and so on. However, there is one theme that I was surprised to find a missing minifigure from - Pirates. PI001 is Admiral Woodhouse (without the plume): PI002 is Captain Redbeard (with plain hat): Then the next entry is PI004, being Governor Broadside: Ye might notice that I skipped PI003, reason for that - it doesn't exist. Of course, there are others that are missing further in the list - PI007, PI012 and way down PI067 and PI071. There might be few more, but I didn't notice any (list becomes more complete further down). Note that PI001 was first released in 1995 so numbering doesn't indicate that the figure was released in 1989 (I am not sure what they take into consideration when labelling these figure by numbers). I am just curious, what happened to these missing figures and why are they missing? I have checked both BrickLink and Brickset, in both these minifigures are absent. What are yer theories about their absence? I would love to hear some interesting ideas and perhaps, if someone has more additional info. Jack Sassy

Lego Pirates theme has always been very colourful (unless we are talking about PoTC), I think that Barracuda herself is subtly colourful, yellow railing and alike but rest is black and white, which seems proper for the time. Going a bit off-topic, Armada sets were (perhaps) unnecessary colourful in some instances: This one is white, blue, red, yellow and green (don't forget about the black masts)!

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Quite the shame about what happened. I should have noticed the signs (@Mr No posting information not too long after joining the forum and so on) but most of us fell for it. As I understand, rest of the rumours about some Indy sets coming out either in 2022 or 2023 are still active. I hope it all turns out to be true in the end. -
Perhaps.

A fascinatingly detailed build! There is far too much detailed for me to even start giving feedback on. An amazing job!

Lovely revamps! I had Jaller back in the day but now he is scattered in my boxes. Really loved that figure, others are amazing too, though I am not familliar with their source material. Good job!

Could a "Like" button be introduced?
Jack Sassy replied to Lego David's topic in Forum Information and Help
First thing that comes to mind is Brickset. While I do like the idea of a like button, I feel that a forum like this is a bit too classic for such feature. -
Hogwarts Castle MOC, Harry Potter (Work in Progress)

I like how that roof has come along. I imagine it will be quite the sight to behold when minifigures will be placed in the courtyard.
