@MarcoMak, congratulations, yer MOC has been frontpaged!
-
Quite some time ago, MarcoMak shared his pirate ship display with rest of the world (that being Eurobricks). Now he has taken it to the next level with his newest MOC - Pirate Paradise! Come, if ye dare, and check it out in LEGO Pirates forum!

A beautiful model indeed, haven't been active recently, therefore didn't see this before. Good job! Indeed, as long as @Captain Braunsfeld has nothing against it, I can do it.

1920's Birney Safety Car - heavy 10308 MOD - real world MOC model
Jack Sassy replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Not much information can be found about these except that they are labelled under name ''Fenikss'', supposedly, this particular model is called ''Pigeon'' (translation from ''Balodis''). A quick search through internet won't give much useful information at all, so I shall try with what I found: they were built in 1930 and were very similar to 1928 model. There were in total 40 of these models across the entire city. Mechanical parts were manufactured in Germany by Friedrich. Krupp A.G. and Henschel & Sohn, all the rest was made in Riga by company ''Fēnikss''. That is about all I can find, if ye do wish to know even more then there is an option of travelling to Riga (one in Latvia not U.S.A.) and seeing a restored model in the railway museum (but that be a long shot ).- 9 replies

A good tram MOD indeed! I know it is a different model but this LEGO version still reminds me a bit of these ones from Riga:- 9 replies

All new fonts take some time getting used to. On another matter - has the size of text been enhanced? -

Ah yes, I seem to recall that. Back then it did not sound like a successful idea to me, not surprised that it died, just rather saddened by its quiet death.

I would if not for the limited time I have. Ask rest of the staff, though it is rather busy with running the entire forum and blog. Either way, I have high respect for what they are accomplishing.

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Jack Sassy replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
But what if those themes are kept as single set GWPs like Bionicle? We are lucky enough to be getting Indy as a full theme but it seems others might not go the same route (just me speculation). -

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Jack Sassy replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
I believe no one is sure about it, we don't have much to go on with about release date besides pure logic and speculation. On a side note, an idea popped into me head about that 150$ set. It could possibly be Brunwald Castle from Last Crusade: Would fit with LEGO making multiple castles now. -
"Duplo Parts Only" Bricklink store - experiences and advices
Jack Sassy replied to qbrick's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Many people use Duplo bricks to fill out enormous areas of a MOC, therefore such store as this could be helpful. That is just my opinion, surely someone who has experience selling Duplo can give ye a better insight into the matter. -
