  1. Love it! Kind of reminds me of the Tunnel Transport from the Rock Raiders series. Beautiful work, mate.
  2. Now, that's a good looking ship! Very unique design, with a beautiful color scheme, and a detailed interior. I love how it is functional and so fierce! You should be proud! Great job.
  3. Fabulous work with this charming inn, L.Baixinho! It's clean with just the right amount of detail to be an official set on its own. Beautiful array of colors and the rockwork is amazing. Keep it up, my friend! Cheers!
  4. Fantastic work! I love the technique used on the tower with a mix or red variations and the curved architecture around the windows. It really looks old, yet still conserved over time. Keep it up, my friend! Cheers.
  5. Hey! I really like it! The stone-work is really good! Mixing the light and dark bluish grey masonry bricks was a great idea! But what I like the most is that it has a sort of a minecraft feeling to it. Nice addition of brown pieces resembling wood, and the tower is very fun. Great work, Kreimkoek!
  6. The more I see these Mophet MOCs, more I fell in love with Kali. And, man! You're on a roll! So many impeccable builds, and so much contribution to the guilds, it's amazing! The ingots are truly beautiful and bending them with the base is a great idea. You used a scale here that is just enough small that it fits the minifigures, and I love it! The architecture is spotless, and the mix of sand green with transparent blue 1x1s is outstanding. Incredible work, Andreas. Truly inspiring! Skol!
  7. Thank you, Jintai! I'm glad you liked it, fellow builder.
  8. Hey, Count Vroskri! Thanks for the compliments, man! Very kind of you. I'm happy you enjoyed the story and the build. And yeah! I've been trying to improve my writing, so it means a lot you liked it. Cheers, mate! And thanks for the support.
  9. Nah.. you're too kind.. I'm glad you liked the build and the small story behind it, sir Memo5378. Thanks for the support!
  10. A sailor's solitude For days, months, years it has been just you and me, and no one in between. We watched the sun rise as it warmed your soft skin. We dined under the moonlight, reflecting on your hair. We danced under the rain and rambled through grey skies. I gave you my heart and I gave you my soul. But now I fear you might claim far more than I can give. For the only thing left for you to take, is my life. So, open your arms and embrace me, as I dive into your eternal blue. Swallow my fears and doubts, as I breathe in your serene tide. Walk me through your never-ending garden until we turn into one... when the time comes. But only when the time comes. Louis of Nutwood ________ Hope you all like it. Cheers!
  11. This is amazing! I love how simple yet effective it is. Slash is absolutely awesome and recognizable. If only LEGO had made a golden Gibson Les Paul guitar... And Axl holding the mic stand is a phenomenal detail. I like the stage with the sound cases, but that logo is outstanding. It perfectly captures the core of the band with just a few bricks. Amazing work, man. Keep it up!
  12. Hey, Merlit! Thank you for the comments and suggestions of improvement. I must say I completely agree. The tail fin is in fact a bit too bulky to my taste. I was just so happy I was able to fit the round rotor in it that it kind of took all my attention. But I agree something more narrow might have balanced it a little better. Thanks for the tips and for the support, mate! Cheers! Aaah, Mr. 12 volts! A delight to have your comment. I'm glad you liked the improvement, man. Thanks for the much appreciated support. Cheers!
  13. It was certainly not easy, sir Luke. But I'm very glad you liked the build and the effort put into it. Thanks for the support, lad. Skol!
  14. Thank you, MarvelBoy, for your kind evaluation. I'm glad you think it's recognizable to the official 7093 set, and that you liked the color scheme. This was my first attempt building an aerial vehicle, and if it wasn't for the nostalgia and memories I had as a kid, building it wouldn't be as enjoyable and fulfilling as it was. And I had a blast! Glad you liked it, brother. Thanks for the support! Cheers!
  15. I'm glad you liked it, SoCal. The serpent was initially developing into a black dragon, but it turned into this serpentine beast, which I liked even better. I'm glad you liked the curvature! Those white tooth pieces enforcing the form were a final addition, and I agree they add a lot to the whole thing. Thanks for the support, brother. Skol!
  16. Search & Rescue Helicopter MH-7093 This MH-65 inspired was mixed with LEGO City set 7903 is equipped with: a. Cockpit for crew of two b. Cabin with bench seating for four (easily fitting way more) c. opening eagle doors on each side. d. winch system with basket and gurney (left side) e. search light (right side) f. exposed rotors. I remember owning this set as a kid, and building this re-imagined version was nothing but a blast. Right after taking photos, I was swooshing it around my living room, feeling like a kid again. I really hope it brings a nostalgia kick as it brought me too. Let me know if you remember this set, and what you think. I'd appreciate any feedback and comments. I hope you all like it! __________ Louis of Nutwood.
  17. I'm thrilled you liked it, Kai. I'm particularly happy about this rock work (plus snow work) because I forced myself not to use any SNOT technique. This is straight classic brick on top of brick, and to my surprise, it looks quite good. So, thank you for commenting and mentioning the snow-work, which is really an evolving art. As a Mitgardian, snow shows up a lot, and we have to stay creative. Thanks for the support, man! Skol! YES, of course.. I'm familiar and contributing.. eh.. every once in a while. But thanks for the heads up on the 'holy sites', otherwise I would never have though of including this build. Thanks, lad! Skol!
  18. Thank you, Zoth! It's always a pleasure to have your comments. Glad you liked it, man! Aaah, fellow builder Grover! What a delight to have you once more wandering and commenting in my builds. Your evaluation is always much appreciated, and I cherish your thorough analysis. I'm thrilled you liked the sacrifice theme involving a bit of the Mitgardian tradition from way back. And I'm not sure.. I guess I'm not doing the HSS, and would love clarification. Because, heck! If there's anything to participate on, count me in. And absolutely, this is a truly HOLY site in the outskirts of Valnötstrad. Where do I sign in? Cheers, Grover! And thanks for the tips. Aaah, Marvelboy. It warms my frozen heart to know you enjoyed this little sacrifice. The serpent is my favorite part, so I'm glad you liked it, brother. Cheers! And thanks for all the support.
  19. Hey, guys! Thanks for the comments. I'm thrilled you liked it and mentioned a few details that in my opinion make it pop. The add the "mechanised" doors was a pain, but totally worth it. Greebles were also a late addition once the overall architecture was finally pleasing, but I agree they add a bunch the the monochromatic structure. I'm glad it reminds you of something you cherish. To me it feels a kind of sovietic, kind of 60's, kind of CoD Black Ops. Thanks for the support, mate! Cheers! It's a delight to read through your comment, Kevin. I'm working to improve my writing and I appreciate you took the time to read through it and that it was enjoyable for you. Honestly, the interior was a pain too, but once it started showing some character, it started to flow. Adding all those pipes was quite enjoyable, actually. And the little chopper.. my cherry on top. Last minute addition, and now I don't want to take it apart. Thanks for the kind comments and all the support, guys! Cheers!
  20. “We apologize, great serpent of the seas, for we do not live in harmony with our Mother Nature”, said the Elders in a time long gone. With the drop of the first snowfall, came the season of shortage, when not a seed grew from the soil and men would hide within their homes. In need of stockage to go through Winter, men raged against each other in pursue of a better crop, a better land, a better life. But as years passed, Winters became longer and colder, and the Elders presumed it was a curse from the Gods. “We do not live in harmony with Mother Nature, who gives so much, but asks so little in return”, they proclaimed, convincing all men to establish a ceremony of appreciation, hoping the Gods would be pleased enough to end the Winter season. For seven days, a selection of the most dexterous, cunning, strong, and sharp men were set to battle each other in a series of games for the appreciation of the Gods, to thank them for sharing their knowledge, protecting the mortals, and providing for the crops. By the end of the seventh day, guided by the ancient Elders, all men were sent to the seashore, where the golden sun would set on the horizon as a white mantel of snow covered the rocks. There, the results of the games were shared with the public and the man with the lowest scoring was pushed into the waves, as an offering to the Gods. Facing the edge of the world, to the eternal sea, the Elders called upon Jörmungandr, the sea serpent, and offered him a cleansed soul. But snow continued to fall. The second man with the lowest score was sent forth, and as the Elders proclaimed the sayings that would wake the giant serpent and bring an end to the cold winds. But once again, snow descended from the sky. This time, Fiandr, the strongest of all men, most dexterous and cunning, winner of the Games Ceremony took the lead. He walked along the rock wall up to the highest cliff, where a lonely tree hung with white leaves. Fiandr faced the eternal sea and called the serpent. [We apologize, great serpent of the seas, for we do not live in harmony with our Mother Nature. We apologize, great serpent of the seas, for we do not seek your guidance, but our own foolish desires. We apologize, great serpent of the seas, for what we do cannot be undone. But here I stand, devoid of arrogance, proud or greed, offering my life, if you are merciful enough to take it. Take my flesh, for it does not suit me anymore. Take my blood, for it does not serve me anymore. Take my soul, for it does not scream, anymore. Take my life, and I will swim alongside you in your castle under the waves, protecting the world of the living and nurturing a life of balance and harmony until time stands still.] Fiandr screamed at the waves, his breath a smoke of frost. He took his knife, gleaming with the last light of the sun, and with a sharp movement, he cut open his wrist, letting a red current flow like the northern rivers. Before the first drop of blood reached the ground, a blue serpent emerged from the frigid waters of the eternal sea. As fast as its head left the water, it dove back in, taking with it the soul and flesh of the most skillful of the mortals. The Elders stood as the last snowflake detached from the grey ceiling that covered the world, and a warm breath of wind caressed the land. From this day on, when the cold winds blew and the Season of Shortage began, The Games Ceremony took place as a way for the mortals to show their appreciation for the Gods, for the winner to claim its rightful place alongside Kevin, the Jörmungandr, sacrificing his life, and for the Gods to show their mercy. “We apologize, for we do not live in harmony with our Mother Nature” _______ Louis of Nutwood. _______ Really hope you all like it. 21. Lovely work, sir Tooker. I especially appreciate the thorough work with the base. And the color choices are excellent! The keep is just as lovely as it is beautiful. Awesome work, lad.
  22. Oooh, wow! This is fabulous! I love Mirabelle's hair and very clever way of doing the arms. The lighting (and the rockwork behind) make it look like a shrine in a cave. Beautiful work, Tar Mirabelle!
  23. Ooooh, boy! This is amazing! And could totally be an official set (which I would definitely buy, of course). Truly an outstanding work, fellow builder. You should be proud!
  24. It's wonderful to see those beautiful yellow and green banners floating in the cold wind. And those little wolfs trying to steal some food are surely no match for a fierce group of Mitgardian warriors. Awesome take on the brown "foliage" in the back, too, and the depiction of the vast white plains of the land is great. Amazing work with those wooden doors, but the spill-out effect coming out of the frame is the cherry on top. Amazing take, fellow wanderer. Skol!
  25. It took me a while to comment, because I keep coming back and resting speechless. This is astonishing! It is so big and so powerful, and to think it only has three colors, just blows my mind. Still, the lack of color variety only adds more depth to this massive creation. I absolutely love the flat rock concept you managed to masterfully keep constant and interesting through the whole build. Of course the designs of the mechanisms supporting the quarry also deserve mentioning, as they are aesthetically beautiful and look functional as well. All the way, an amazing build, sir Tooker. Skol!
