  1. The thing is that: A: TFaTWS was supposed to release in august, so we would have heard about it by now. B: star wars is a whole different thing. We've been getting sets for the CW show after that one went off the air (of course they brought it back this year), and the films themselves of course get tons of sets despite being as much as 40 years old. For marvel, we almost never get sets for a film after it released. In addition, baby yoda himself is so popular lego wants to capitalize on that, and since he was hidden from merchandise, they couldn't have released that alongside the show, so they've rushed into development some baby yoda-centric sets.
  2. It's possible, but this guy's just a troll, don't believe his information. He's posted this in 3 threads, along with a very suspicious list (lots of fan-favorites and highly requested sets, stuff as far out as "summer 2021", one of his "leaked sets" is AT-TE OR AT-OT with dropship, which is extremely sketchy.) and the mods keep locking the threads.
  3. Similar opinion here, although I like the sequel films a bit more than the prequel trilogy (by the idea that 7 and 9 were good/ok, 8 was poor, while 1 and 2 were pretty bad and 3 was good), but it's just kind of a mediocre trilogy overall (of course if you add in TCW the prequel trilogy easily wins). And yeah, a resistance b-wing is just an unfounded hunch on my part, I'm hoping it's an AT-TE or something.
  4. Just give it a break. all your threads with these "leaks" and "rumors" have been hidden or locked by the mods. Although with such gems as "tie vehicle" and "battle pack", I'm very entertained by these. I assume the UCS sets will be a GONK droid and Jar Jar, maybe?
  5. Cool! I remember from the comics, just didn't know they were going to be in the series. This is going to be an interesting model, I'm not sure how it'll turn out with a 6x6 head piece.
  6. "um, the new captain america only has dual-molded arms and legs with arm printing and printing on the front of the legs, not the sides? Lego's so lazy!!!!" Phew! Glad that one, at least, wasn't delayed. (though I might be biased, based on my name and PFP) I agree the armor's not that bad. I'd say about 2 months from when the helicarrier leaked, since they release in august. June, maybe? They'll probably leak about the same time as the star wars sets. "twins"?
  7. The thing is they have to make sure the "main cast" is the focus of most sets. And kids can't buy every set in the wave, either, so it's not like they're that impacted by Iron man showing up ore than once. You give any kid an option between iron man and stingray, they'll choose iron man I'm starting to think they could make a set with the core avengers roster for like $5 and people would still complain about it. I'm pretty excited for a HoA extension though. But that's the thing, you wanted those major characters, not Admiral Piett or Nic Sant (nvm that got retconned to be rex), we'll say Orrimaarko. Kids want the main avengers and can't buy every set in a wave, so they repeat the more valuable figures instead of throwing in random heroes or villians no kid would know about. Like I said above, kids would rather have Iron Man than some obscure hero.
  8. That's like saying "why buy a UCS set when you can buy a replica model" or "why buy the child sculpture when there's a $350 baby yoda replica". Because it's lego (and I'd wager quite a bit cheaper than those replica helmets, too)
  9. That's a good one, though my favorites are "tie vehicle" and "battle pack". Makes me imagine some bizarro TIE boat or tank or something for the first, and the second...amazing leak...a battle pack WILL BE a 2021 set. I'm shocked. Definitely didn't see that coming. Good idea, given that the guy's name is "none" and this is his only post I'm guessing he's a troll, so it's not even just the normal "don't make a separate 2021 thread until 2020's done"
  10. I actually like those helmets more and more the more I see them, they make a lot of sense for adults getting them to put on their desks, especially since they're OT as you so clearly point out, which means they've got the nostalgia factor going. I might pick up the Boba fett one sometime, maybe with the august wave. Same here, especially since we already got one this year, but I'm not as annoyed as we learned that a set was coming like a day before we found out it was a baby yoda statue. Personally I think it's likely that both the brickheadz and this set were rushed through production by lego once the child was revealed.
  11. It probably is, that's a good point. I've got my money on her being in the tower, but at least as for her not showing up in the january sets, she wasn't in the marketing at all even past the first trailer or two, so it wouldn't surprise me if lego just wasn't given anything at first. It would also mean it's almost certainly MCU . I can see them putting stud shooters on it, not really much of an annoyance as they're usually easy to just leave off the set but it would be the epitome of lego marvel. Yes, we the fans do, but children want their iron men and thors and spider-men because those are the ones they recognize. The "remember, lego is for kids" argument that pops up in the star wars thread from time to time is even more relevant here. Lego doesn't have a UCS line for marvel, I think the iron man bust will be the second marvel set to be made to appeal to adult collectors after the 2015 helicarrier.
  12. It's 2 agents, iron man, and rescue, right? I thought that was the intial leak. In that case it'd all hinge on whether or not it has more suits than the enix suit we've gotten 50 times already. I'd be fine with it having that iron man AND the new WM with rescue or some of the game suits (he's got some alternate appearances that are pretty cool), but if it's just that iron man and 1 or 2 aim agents I'd be disappointed.
  13. You either made this up or got this from someone who did. This is just a collection of some of the most-wanted sets from the 2020 discussion and things that have been mentioned there. And nothing leaks like "ARC-170 OR z-95" or "Big clone wars vehicle". This is obviously fake.
  14. I would suggest finishing the build digitally first, than buying the parts on bricklink. As-is, it doesn't seem like it would be too expensive.
  15. Huh. I never knew the wings bent outward, that's pretty cool. Good design, I like the detailing on the cockpit.
  16. Not if it's a hall of armor expansion with more MCU suits. It's just named weird, probably from the translation. It almost certainly doesn't come with 2 figures. I'm assuming it's an expansion with more suits.
  17. Keeps getting better and better, this thing is going to be a beast when finished.
  18. Sounds fine. A $10-15ish blister pack in the same style as the spider-man museum, but with an exclusive falcon, the new black widow, and 2 army-building agents? This might be the first set I'll buy for marvel this year since the Iron man mech.
  19. Looks good, other than the ball joints you fixed on rebrickable I think the model is structurally the same.
  20. That'd be a cool set, and makes sense that we could get it instead of the norml b-wing to mix things up. (though I fear we may be getting a resistance b-wing as the $100 exclusive, I haven't heard any "rumors" or anything, that's just my thoughts.) We did end up getting Quarrie as probably the only good thing from the freemaker adventures sets, but he would HAVE to be in this set. What episode of S2 are you on, by the way?
  21. Same here, I'm already going to probably wait on that AT-AT, since I'm planning on getting 2 501st sets, at least one AAT, and pre-ordering the razor crest. Which is Ironic, since as much as I like the mandalorian and TCW, ESB is better IMO. I think it became a bit of a meme in the community, but yeah it looks better in reviews and stuff, they just chose really bad box art. Still think it's a bit unsettling, but nowhere near as bad as it seems.
  22. Inside the ice arch there's rooms also like the D2C, except all of them are representing the deleted scene where c-3PO takes the danger sign off the door and the wampas come in. Ah yes, ketamine addiction yoda. Yeah, not eager to see a repeat of that. Honestly this seems pretty easy to have predicted, I can't believe I didn't think of it earlier. The set number is right after the baby yoda+mando brickheadz, and like the brickheadz it's an easy set to get out (not requiring any new molds etc besides the baby yoda figurine itself, doesn't need any new prints, brickheadz set only has prints for the mando's helmet) to capitalize on baby yoda's popularity. I think the razor crest was in production before the mandalorian season 1 aired, but I'm not sure these other sets were. Reminds me of how they underestimated how popular A New Hope would be and had to push out whatever they could, including that "early bird" empty box.
  23. No, they've learned from their mistakes, It'll be one massive build of the shield generator....with 3 segments again. It's possible, something with the rebel trenches would be nice to oppose the walker, but I hope it's not the D2C.
  24. Tell me about it, the lack of ranked troopers and other canon types is really annoying. Even scout troopers, we went 6 years without any and you can only get the new helmet mold in a $30 set that's way overpriced and has a weird gimmick that makes the builds bad. Totally forgot, the Razor Crest will come with a scout trooper. Doesn't really help army-building, but it will be in the set.
  25. Out of curiosity, are you aware of all rebels sets released? Because (and this is only a spoiler if you haven't seen the released sets) along with the cast reflecting their season 3-4 appearances, since most people agree the later seasons are better (me included). Glad to hear you're starting to watch rebels, just know that it gets progressivly better over the course of the series, from somewhat bad, to good, to clone-wars level by the end.
