  1. Most think it's game based, although the hot rod being included makes me think it's not. I'll be happy if it's just some pods, the hot rod, and 2-3 new suits. I wouldn't hope for Stane, Rhodes, or those easter eggs though.
  2. Darn, I was going to do the wheel bike/boga microfighters! Summer wave is tougher, but we'll see. Based on previosu summer waves, I'll go 6 sets, and optimistically add two battle packs, though we don't normally get them over the summer anymore, for a total of 8 sets. May 4th UCS: Republic gunship ($399.99) Minifigures are a clone pilot (new helmet mold, p1), Clone gunner, and "fan choice" of either Jedi bob or a clone commander *cough* my boi thorn *cough* Remnant troopers ($14.99): 2 remnant stormtroopers, scout trooper, TIE pilot (we always get the one random guy thrown in). Build is a speeder bike and rubble. Fleet troopers ($14.99): comes with 2 rebel fleet troopers, rebel officer, y-wing pilot. Build is some made-up transport. Snowspeeder ($29.99): Luke's snowspeeder with Luke, Dak, and a snowtrooper commander. Scarif battle ($29.99): palm trees, the "master switch" thing, and some terrain. Function for rebels to hide in the foilage, and for the stormtroopers to get shot like in the death star january 2019 set. Chirrut, rebel trooper, 2 stormtroopers Z-95 headhunter ($59.99): Warthog, 212th trooper, 2 b1s, tactical droid. Resistance B-wing ($79.99): Comes with Aftab Ackbar, Poe, leia, and a sith trooper. Moff Gideon's TIE fighter ($89.99): Outland TIE with a small side build of the cantina and an E-web. Moff Gideon, who uses (i doubt this is still a thing, they released official merchandise of it this year) , Beskar mando, Cara Dune, 2 stormtroopers, 2 death troopers. MTT ($109.99): MTT (brown, again), with 16 battle droids, 2 pilot droids, Qui-gon, and Jar Jar on a new mold of the things the gungans ride.
  3. Yup, sorry about that. I've given up on that grievous set. Yeah, there's not much else going on to look forwards too anyway. I think besides High Republic, which is currently irrelevant to this thread as it's just books/comics so far, the only thing that is coming out anytime soon is Mando S2. The UCS label has pretty much lost all meaning for me. They created the MBS label to differentiate between the more high-end accurate ship models and the giant playsets, but then scrapped it. And then the Tantive IV isn't UCS. Personally I think at this point UCS should just be for the 18+ sets. IMO the busts could have been UCS.
  4. I'm not completely sure how it's made, but I don't think all the parts exist in those colors. specifically the ball joint and socket pieces connection the "eyes" to the body. As for the build itself, I think the cannon is just attached with some form of the headlight brick or another SNOT brick, the turtle shell is probably attached with a 2x2 jumper plate, then the antenne piece on that, with the hole in the shell connecting to the bar at the base of the antenne.
  5. It comes in dark grey, too! Honestly, I think this makes it more likely maul's going to be in either the summer 2020 exclusive or something from 2021, it just looks so similar to the piece they use in the lego video games for him. @marvelBoy123 Those are all pretty good but that death watch soldier especially looks great, I wouldn't have though that spider-man torso could work, but it looks really good! I might have to bricklink the parts for one or two of those guys.
  6. Looks great! lots of creative part usage too, like the binoculars on the roller skate piece. The look of the build reminds me a bit of the bionicle 2008 sets.
  7. 1. All your posts are from after none made his list, you're vigourusly defending his list and you also Somehow claim to have leaked information but don't think childish landino is credible, and are also kind of being rude to him. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're @none with an alt account. YES! #wewantaucsgonkdroid #gonkgang Yeah, even though guys fake, the MTT pattern could continue. If I claim an ARC-170 is next year and don't know if it is or not, that wouldn't mean lego can't make an ARC-170 next year.
  8. Can't wait to see your next ship! I agree completely about that last bit, I was confused as to why rebels was hated so much, I liked it, but HOLY COW i couldn't even finish an episode or 2 of resistance. I think it was the first one of these animated series (at least in canon) that actually was just a kids show, albiet a kids show with some cool ship designs.
  9. This is a fun idea, I like this sort of thing. I'll try a prediction list, though right off the bat I know I'm stealing one of the ideas from you, that snowtrooper set is very likely . Most are based on our current pattern for january of: 2 microfighters, 2 battle packs, duel set, 4+ set, $20-30 OT location set, 2 larger sets. Microfighters: tough, as there's no new films coming out. However, as the last ones not for a new/recent film were for TPM, I'll say: Droid Gunship Microfighter ($9.99): tank driver droid like they included in the kashyyyk sets. = It's a prequel ship that hasn't been microfighter-d yet, and I thought it would be a nice touch since it came out 2 years ago. AT-AT microfighter ($9.99): kashyyyk 41st clone or gree. see above Battle packs: Snowtrooper battle pack: ($14.99): 2 snowtroopers, veers-style officer, AT-AT driver. Build is the new-style speeder bike, but oversized and seats 2. (It just seems likely to me for some reason, and I pretty much stole the concept from @ArrowBricks, I slightly changed it to make it worse a bit more likely for lego to make.) Purge troopers battle pack:($14.99) Cal Kestis, Second Sister, Electrostaff purge trooper, Purge trooper commander. Build is some random Purge trooper vehicle. We would get this almost the exact same length of time after fallen order's release that we got the infearno squad set after battlefront 2's release. (and there's definitely some bias going on, I love that game, and Cal is one of my top 3 favorite star wars characters.) Duel set: Exogol duel ($24.99, larger than the standard one by a little bit): Sith throne with palpatine's puppetry thing and some function to throw ben, Ben Solo, Palpatine (sith eternal robes with zombie alternate face), Rey. (I'm astounded they haven't made this yet) $20-30 OT location set: Wampa Cave ($29.99): Luke, Wampa, Random Snowtrooper? Cave build with function for upside-down luke to grab his lightsaber. (In keeping with the hoth theme and the fact that almost all these types of sets are OT) 4+ set:($29.99) Speeder Bike Chase: 2 simplified speeder bikes, a tree, endor luke and a scout trooper. (2019 we had primarily ANH 4+ sets, 2020 we had an ESB 4+, so logically 2020 is a ROTJ 4+ set.) Larger sets: Octupurra droid ($59.99): 91st recon corps clone, s7 anakin, 2 b1s, large octupurra droid. Trying to balance out OT and PT here. Figure the ST can take the backseat for a wave since their films just finished AT-TE ($99.99): AT-TE with 2 at-te drivers, Rex, Ahsoka, and Maul. Hinges on this not being the summer exclusive and these figures also not being in the summer wave. @ARC2149Nova great set ideas, though if we get ANOTHER AT-ST I may have to stop buying lego altogether. Also, I'm about halfway done with a T2-B Moc, I liked it's design when I looked it up bc of the earlier discussion.
  10. Seeing as it would most likely have come out in june if the series was an august release, we would have heard of the set before it was pushed back. I think the most we can hope for is that the falcon in the minifigure pack is from TFaTWS.
  11. These all look great! It's nice to see rebels getting some love, and these models deliver. The pelta and interdictor especially work really well.
  12. The thing is that: A: TFaTWS was supposed to release in august, so we would have heard about it by now. B: star wars is a whole different thing. We've been getting sets for the CW show after that one went off the air (of course they brought it back this year), and the films themselves of course get tons of sets despite being as much as 40 years old. For marvel, we almost never get sets for a film after it released. In addition, baby yoda himself is so popular lego wants to capitalize on that, and since he was hidden from merchandise, they couldn't have released that alongside the show, so they've rushed into development some baby yoda-centric sets.
  13. It's possible, but this guy's just a troll, don't believe his information. He's posted this in 3 threads, along with a very suspicious list (lots of fan-favorites and highly requested sets, stuff as far out as "summer 2021", one of his "leaked sets" is AT-TE OR AT-OT with dropship, which is extremely sketchy.) and the mods keep locking the threads.
  14. Similar opinion here, although I like the sequel films a bit more than the prequel trilogy (by the idea that 7 and 9 were good/ok, 8 was poor, while 1 and 2 were pretty bad and 3 was good), but it's just kind of a mediocre trilogy overall (of course if you add in TCW the prequel trilogy easily wins). And yeah, a resistance b-wing is just an unfounded hunch on my part, I'm hoping it's an AT-TE or something.
  15. Just give it a break. all your threads with these "leaks" and "rumors" have been hidden or locked by the mods. Although with such gems as "tie vehicle" and "battle pack", I'm very entertained by these. I assume the UCS sets will be a GONK droid and Jar Jar, maybe?
  16. Cool! I remember from the comics, just didn't know they were going to be in the series. This is going to be an interesting model, I'm not sure how it'll turn out with a 6x6 head piece.
  17. "um, the new captain america only has dual-molded arms and legs with arm printing and printing on the front of the legs, not the sides? Lego's so lazy!!!!" Phew! Glad that one, at least, wasn't delayed. (though I might be biased, based on my name and PFP) I agree the armor's not that bad. I'd say about 2 months from when the helicarrier leaked, since they release in august. June, maybe? They'll probably leak about the same time as the star wars sets. "twins"?
  18. The thing is they have to make sure the "main cast" is the focus of most sets. And kids can't buy every set in the wave, either, so it's not like they're that impacted by Iron man showing up ore than once. You give any kid an option between iron man and stingray, they'll choose iron man I'm starting to think they could make a set with the core avengers roster for like $5 and people would still complain about it. I'm pretty excited for a HoA extension though. But that's the thing, you wanted those major characters, not Admiral Piett or Nic Sant (nvm that got retconned to be rex), we'll say Orrimaarko. Kids want the main avengers and can't buy every set in a wave, so they repeat the more valuable figures instead of throwing in random heroes or villians no kid would know about. Like I said above, kids would rather have Iron Man than some obscure hero.
  19. That's like saying "why buy a UCS set when you can buy a replica model" or "why buy the child sculpture when there's a $350 baby yoda replica". Because it's lego (and I'd wager quite a bit cheaper than those replica helmets, too)
  20. That's a good one, though my favorites are "tie vehicle" and "battle pack". Makes me imagine some bizarro TIE boat or tank or something for the first, and the second...amazing leak...a battle pack WILL BE a 2021 set. I'm shocked. Definitely didn't see that coming. Good idea, given that the guy's name is "none" and this is his only post I'm guessing he's a troll, so it's not even just the normal "don't make a separate 2021 thread until 2020's done"
  21. I actually like those helmets more and more the more I see them, they make a lot of sense for adults getting them to put on their desks, especially since they're OT as you so clearly point out, which means they've got the nostalgia factor going. I might pick up the Boba fett one sometime, maybe with the august wave. Same here, especially since we already got one this year, but I'm not as annoyed as we learned that a set was coming like a day before we found out it was a baby yoda statue. Personally I think it's likely that both the brickheadz and this set were rushed through production by lego once the child was revealed.
  22. It probably is, that's a good point. I've got my money on her being in the tower, but at least as for her not showing up in the january sets, she wasn't in the marketing at all even past the first trailer or two, so it wouldn't surprise me if lego just wasn't given anything at first. It would also mean it's almost certainly MCU . I can see them putting stud shooters on it, not really much of an annoyance as they're usually easy to just leave off the set but it would be the epitome of lego marvel. Yes, we the fans do, but children want their iron men and thors and spider-men because those are the ones they recognize. The "remember, lego is for kids" argument that pops up in the star wars thread from time to time is even more relevant here. Lego doesn't have a UCS line for marvel, I think the iron man bust will be the second marvel set to be made to appeal to adult collectors after the 2015 helicarrier.
  23. It's 2 agents, iron man, and rescue, right? I thought that was the intial leak. In that case it'd all hinge on whether or not it has more suits than the enix suit we've gotten 50 times already. I'd be fine with it having that iron man AND the new WM with rescue or some of the game suits (he's got some alternate appearances that are pretty cool), but if it's just that iron man and 1 or 2 aim agents I'd be disappointed.
  24. You either made this up or got this from someone who did. This is just a collection of some of the most-wanted sets from the 2020 discussion and things that have been mentioned there. And nothing leaks like "ARC-170 OR z-95" or "Big clone wars vehicle". This is obviously fake.
  25. I would suggest finishing the build digitally first, than buying the parts on bricklink. As-is, it doesn't seem like it would be too expensive.
