I Based on this image for the head and hair, I'd say this is your best bet: Hair: this part was used on the old figure, too, but I think it works best and isn't rare at all. ROTJ Luke uses this hair, and they have pretty similar hairstyles in the film. Head: this is by far the best bet. It has the beard in the right color, and even has the dark expression and sunken eyes. Torso: If you're not going to go with the original, this option gets the rank plaque and dark tan vest, though unfortunately it's open. In my opinion the original torso still works, but whichever you'd choose, I'd use sand blue arms with dark brown hands. Legs: dark tan legs. Bonus round: Use a white wand for his pointer.

It'll have been 7 years since the last OT falcon when this one releases. The people who were 1-5 then are 6-11 now. Lego's primary customers, especially for microfighters, are children, and they have a whole new mass of children who were too young to get the last falcon microfighter. I don't like excessive remakes, but two OT falcon microfighters in 7 years isn't bad. Yeah I'm 99% sure the cancelled set was vader's tie or a tie fighter. -

The exact quote from @jdubbs said is "This is not the only Mando set in 2021, so it's certainly possible Cobb will appear later in the year.", for anyone who doesn't want to take the time to go all the way to page 24. That this was said back in early november means that, now that we know the full january and march waves, either: a) there's a surprise mando set like the IT-S. Jdubbs has said something to the effect of he doesn't think there are any surprise 1hy sets, so he can't be referring to this. it doesn't mean it's not impossible, but it's not what he was talking about. b) there are at least some hints to the 2hy sets available to some people. This is probably the most likely option. c) the other mando set was cancelled. This is possible, especially since a microfighter was cancelled too (though I don't believe he meant the microfighter), but I think it's most likely option b, I can't see lego cancelling a mando set. -

True. I think in early spring we had him say that @ARC2149Nova's speculation of a jedi starfighter, BARC, and AAT was accurate. And you're right, we had some leak or get revealed really early and some that we didn't know were coming until a month or two before release (I think we knew a $100 set was coming but didn't know it was final duel, and then I don't think we had any indication of the IT-S until the images leaked, at least not publicly shared ones). Yeah, it's fun to try and interpret clues like that, and it also makes it a bit easier for the leakers. I believe @jdubbs and @Renown have both implied that they sometimes have info that they can't outright share, so the hints like "cool set" or the aqualish language are fun. And it is great to hear more mando sets are coming if he did say that, I'lll take all the mando I can get. -
It's all practice, if you're looking to get better at mocs I'd suggest starting by taking a small set (like a battle pack build) and just building it into something else. The computer programs are good too, though I find creativity is easier with actual parts, and of course you have to think about physics as gravity and tension aren't calculated into the programs. I think corvus would be OK as long as it's not the prisoner thingies themselves. Rebels wave? Microfighters: TIE defender ($9.99): Vult Skerris The Phantom (first one) ($9.99): Hera Syndulla Purrgil vs star destroyer ($19.99): Ezra (different face print with force eyes) and Thrawn Battle packs: Phoenix rebels ($14.99): 2x phoenix troopers (with the goggles and rebel fleet helmet in yellow), 1x blue phoenix trooper, 1x a-wing pilot. Build is a small bit of the Atollon base with a turret and thumper. Imperial troopers ($14.99): 2x stormtrooper, 1x combat driver, 1x jumptrooper. Build is a rebels style speeder bike. Duel: Duel on the Sovereign ($19.99): Kanan (s1, two sabers), the grand inquisitor. Build is some of the reactor room with catwalks and control station. Other sets: Imperial Trooper Transport ($39.99): ITT with combat driver, Agent Kallus, Ezra (season 1), and Zeb. Trainer A-wing ($44.99): Larger A-wing with a portion of pheonix base (command center and some crates). Figures are Kanan (season 3), hera, Chopper, and Sato. Arc cannon walker ($54.99): ARC cannon walker with Wren Clan mandalorian, AT-DP pilot, Imperial Supercommando, Ezra (scout helmet and jetpack) and Sabine Wren (season 4). Malachor battle ($69.99): Malachor temple (elevator thing, superweapon crystal, place where the holocron is found, door, etc), with Ahsoka, Kanan (temple mask), Maul, Seventh Sister, Vader, and Ezra. TIE defender ($79.99): TIE defender with Vult Skerris, Thrawn, Pryce, Rukh, imperial security droid (dark trooper looking one), and a stormtrooper. The Ghost ($159.99): large ghost model with Phantom 2. Ghost has the interior dejerek table room, kanan's room, and the cargo hold. Figures are Ezra, Kanan, Sabine, Zeb, Hera, Chopper, Fenn Rau, Rex, and Kallus (all season 4). UCS ghost ($399.99): Massive ghost with phantom 1. Phantom 1 is big enough to fit the whole crew and has the fold-out seats like in the show. The ghost is huge and has a full cockpit with 4 seats, the front and top turrets, the dejerek room with turret ladder, Ezra/zeb's room, kanan's room, Sabine's room, and the cargo bay. Figures are hera (arm printing) and Chopper (new mold for head with arms out). There are so many great sets to be made from this show, I still wanted to have an imperial gunship, tie x1, blockade runner, b-wing prototype, and a way to get the figures of Caleb Dume with the short hair, Constantine, and so much more, and I still had more sets than normal.

I think the list leaked before the january sets even released, but we didn't have catalogue images until late spring. As a general rule the set lists usually seem to leak 7-8 months before release, with potato quality images leaking 3-4 months before and good quality/official images a month or two later. Based on that we should see a list in a month or two. What GWP? Anyway, LSW GWPS are usually $75 USD and the cost of buying all four sets is $130, so assuming the conversion rate is the same for both the GWP threshold and sets, it's not much more than half. The x-wing and tatooine sets would be enough to get you there. -

Aside from Obi-wan it's been awhile since our last figure GWP, they're usually builds at this point. Micro ship/shuttle is most likely a $3.99 impulse buy though, like the kylo shuttles, x-wings, TIEs, etc were. -

The rebels wave was just complete garbage. They released the ghost and phantom a good 6 months before the show, I think, and then the majority of the sets right after the ending of season 1. There were some super obscure sets, with what you mentioned with the wookie gunship (though even worse, it was in ONE SHOT in the pilot episode, docked to the ghost), and also ones like ezra's speeder that was in I think just one episode. Like you said, rebels didn't gain many fans until it got good in the later half of season 2 and season 3 (the last 10 minutes of "twilight of the apprentice" are the most emotional in all of star wars, fight me), and by then they downgraded the amount of sets by a ton. For season 2 we only had the A-wing vs TIE advanced (which was really only a rebels set becuase Sabine was in it and the color scheme of the a-wing was different), and Rex's AT-TE, which was just a junked version of the AT-TE, not really a desirable set for kids. Season 3 had only the phantom 2, which seems like it sold pretty well if for no other reason than thrawn was in it, but they still had cold feet and as such there were no sets for season 4. -

Quickly addressing the three points that popped up. I don't know how we got on the topic of an n-1 rerelease, but I could see it a $30 set with young anakin, a naboo pilot, r2 and a destroyer droid or b1. Not sure why we're all talking about it though Padme isn't included much because aside from geonosis, she isn't in any battle scenes in AOTC or ROTS (getting force choked by anakin on mustafar doesn't count as a battle and isn't something lego would want to show, probably). We still should have had a TPM battle padme by now, though. As for the new episode, all I'll say before the spoiler tag was that I LOVED it. Best one yet by far. -

I was more so responding to @Guyon2002's comment about the "big three" and vader being in the same wave, but yeah lando's cape covered the print too. It is amazing that they made him, and his desirability definitely shows if you look at BL prices for the snowspeeder. Ouch, we had that set in america at $30, which converts to about 22 pounds, so you're actually literally correct in that it was about 100% overpriced, at least compared to the american cost. She was in a 2012 y-wing too, but the y-wing and medical chambers were both different variants. Yes exactly. If you want more of these smaller scale, if you want PT sets in this style, and you can afford it, vote with your wallet! I'll be getting the x-wing if i can. Exactly. We voted with our wallets against the action battles, and we can vote for this new style. Agreed with the second part of the post, too. They know there's demand for PT. If they see demand for the new style, too... get ready for a $50 ARC-170 with 4 figures. Yeah, I really hated that they did that. Torso is the same but they used the fleshy face, which is just so annoying to me. Also agreed about that point on the shuttle. Yup, she's way rare than you'd think. ANH leia appeared in four sets....between 2010 and 2020...only one of which was under $100...and one of which was $500. Completely insane for one of the "big three'. -

I 100% agree. Even if someone doesn't like the wave, it's no excuse to be rude to people who do. And of course there's the bitterness about a comparative lack of prequel sets at the end, as usual. I'm going to try to explain this one last time, @PreVizsla. The reason there's only OT system sets this wave is because (aside from the mando set, which I don't see anyone complaining about) they're doing the new way to make cheaper sets. It does not matter what your personal opinion is on your favorite films, the OT x-wing and tie are objectively the two most well-known star wars ships alongside the millenium falcon, so it's clearly the objective best choice for two sets to show off the new style. I'm honestly not even sure that the shuttle is part of the new style, seeing as it's about the same size, but regardless, it's a very iconic vehicle that was due for a remake. Sure, the figure count for the shuttle isn't great, but overall this new style is actually very good for figure counts. The new x-wing and tie have the same figure counts as the 2020 x-wing and tie, except they're half the price. By choosing the two most iconic vehicles in SW to spearhead the new style, lego ensures that these will sell well, which bodes well for getting more in the future. This would obviously include prequel sets. Have patience, overall this wave is very promising for getting more prequel sets and figures at lower prices. Imagine how good of a set grievous's starfighter would have been had it been slightly smaller...and $40. That's the future of sets this wave will lead to if it sells well. Yeah, I don't get the complaints about him being in the shuttle. This is the cheapest globally available retail set he's been in for about 3 years, I think (vader transformation being the last). Yeah, but clearly that isn't realistic, with them being the 1999 versions with giant "20" prints on the back. The only one there that really works for kids is the vader since the skin tone isn't yellow and he's got a cape covering the back print. as @NeutralNoodle says, the last time that normal versions of them were available in the same wave was five years ago. -
This was made almost two years ago...it's impossible for it to have been based on mando.

@ArrowBricks please don't go work for lego or I'll go broke from buying all those sets! Great list, the sets all sound great! I'll quickly jot down my own mandalorian wave, that I may or may not be about halfway through rendering sets of. Fair warning, some are for season one but there are MINOR SPOILERS for season 2 episodes 1-5, mainly character appearances. Microfighters: Razor Crest ($9.99): The Mandalorian (episode 1-2 armor) TIE outlander ($9.99): TIE fighter pilot (gideon would likely be kept for a more expensive set) Kuill vs ITT ($19.99): Kuill on a Blurrg and a death trooper on an ITT Battle packs: Imperial Remnant troopers ($14.99): 2x stormtroopers and a scout trooper with new prints, incinerator stormtrooper. Builds are a speeder bike and a bit of terrain. Boat attack ($14.99): Koska Reeves, Axe Woves, and 2 quarren pirates. Build is a bit of the boat with the pit the mammacore goes into. Other sets: Duel on Corvus ($19.99): Ahsoka Tano, Spear Lady. Build is a bit of the garden with the pool, I think it'd be an interesting build. The forge ($24.99): Build of the forge, with the mythosaur skull, console, table, camtono, etc. Comes with The Armorer and two stormtroopers. Tusken Truce ($29.99, 501st type): Brick-built bantha, cobb's speeder, and mando speeder (more accurately sized than encounter on tatooine) with the mandalorian (season 2), Cobb Vanth, and 2 tuskens. Trexler Marauder ($49.99): Trexler Marauder (that thing that looks like an ITT) with Cara Dune, Greef Karga, the Mythrol, and a scout trooper. TIE outlander ($69.99): TIE outlander with Moff Gideon, a TIE pilot, mortar stormtrooper, stormtrooper, and Bo-Katan Arquitens Cruiser ($129.99): Moff Gideon's Arquitens with interior bridge, command chamber, and dark trooper prep room with Moff Gideon, 2x dark trooper, comms officer, Dr Pershing, 2x imperial crew, The mandalorian (season 2 armor), and the Child.

This. Arm and leg printing is almost always better than plain clothes from a detail standpoint. However, on many characters it's not necessary, and there are better allocations of resources than, say, printing a crease or two on ROTJ luke's legs. So most characters would look better with arm/leg printing from a detail standpoint, but the improvement would be small or almost impossible to even notice. but what if the font is really small, now you can't see me wishlisting! Mwahahahahahaha Why do you think that? We still have about the same number of 1hy sets this year. Remember, there's at least 5 sets that haven't yet been revealed for 1hy: 3 helmets, probe droid, and the 1hy UCS. And who's to say that more surprises aren't in store for 1hy 2021? If I remember correctly we didn't know final dual and the IT-S were coming until shortly before they leaked. -

Even better for the pattern, then. This was me with, ironically...pilot luke. I kid you not. There's heavy speculation as I believe star wars action figures of other brands than hasbro leaked. Diamond select, maybe? Anyway, if that's true then the contract likely changed in such a way that lego could do just figures again. -

I don't think lego works 3 years in advance on their system sets. I don't even know if there is much concept art for the 2023 film (we don't yet know if it's a trilogy), seeing as there's been almost no info on it and they keep announcing and cancelling trilogies (game of thrones guys trilogy, maybe rian johnson's I forget if that's still happening, etc) I don't remember if I ever had a set with vader's old helmet mold. On the other hand, i had an absurd amount of the old chewbaccas without printing. -

Overruled! With the new scale they're trying, there's no doubt that an ANH x-wing and TIE are the two best options. They are the two most iconic vehicles in star wars. No question. As for how many times he shows up, it's because he's essential to two iconic vehicles, snowspeeder and OT x-wing, and he's usually in a third. Fun fact: I didn't have a pilot luke until 2018, and I had to bricklink a head and helmet because the 2018 one had that awful duel molded one. Yeah, it'll be a UCS vehicle. 2HY D2Cs have gone (I think): Assault on Hoth (reason for the creation of the MBS label), UCS falcon, MBS Betrayal at Bespin, UCS star destroyer, MBS cantina. So maybe next we'll get a UCS AT-AT or something? Yeah, when I was younger I had to hunt down a magnet set for han, and my luke was the celebration character from some book's head and hair on a voldermort body with an ahsoka lightsaber. I believe I was only able to get Leia from a magnet, too. -
Welcome back! All of those sets sound great, I especially like the Tie outlander and Krayt dragon ideas. Fun fact about the AAT: If you purchase a few and sell off the ahsoka and clone figures from them, you can easily sell the figures for enough to average $2 per tank and droids. It's insane. I've only got a few right now, I'm waiting for them to become more easily available to people and to see if the figure prices stay.

To play devil's advocate to the devil's advocate (angel's advocate?), based off the sets made nothing required a new mold besides the new molds they already made. What figure that could realistically be in an ANH Tie fighter, ANH x-wing, or Imperial shuttle could use a new mold? Aside from maybe a new obscure ewok in the shuttle, there's nothing. That's....not entirely implausible... after all, there were plenty of side builds in the cantina (other landspeeders, smaller building, etc) that could have been luke's landspeeder, and we know for a fact that the cantina was in production long before the other 2020 sets. An Endor set isn't super implausible, though it might be a normal set and not an MBS since we tend to get those every other year. Even if you think that it's an improvement upon the old one (which most people seem to think it isn't), it was changed back two years before this wave, so it's not exactly this wave's "fault" per se. -
I was stumped on how to make a good kessel set, this would be pretty good. Segwa is the old wookie, right? As cool as it would be, a UCS lego motorized AT-AT is, from a physics standpoint, impossible. There are a few MOCs of UCS AT-ATs, but they're usually massive and require some glue applications to be stable (Cavegod's excellent MOC comes to mind). When you throw in the space that would need to be created in the legs and "hips" for motorized elements, it's impossible to keep it structurally integral at that scale with lego. Even if it was possible to create that space, the weight factor alone would cause the motors to either not work or the build to collapse. I've done all the films, so here comes a wave for each show. Clone wars gets 2, since the Seige of Mandalore was basically a movie. Clone wars (excluding SoM) wave: Microfighters: V-19 torrent ($9.99): Clone pilot (p1) Hyena bomber ($9.99): b1 rocket battle droid Ahsoka's ETA-2 starfighter vs vulture droid ($19.99): Ahsoka tano (seasons 3-5), Buzz droid (x2) Battle packs: Clone legions ($14.99): 2x clone shiny (p2), coruscant guard (p2), 212th trooper (p2). Build is an accurately sized AT-RT. Separatist droids ($14.99): 4x b1 battle droid, 2x b2 battle droid, 1x buildable crab droid (small), 1x buildable droidika, 1x buildable dwarf spider droid. Duel: Duel on Mandalore ($19.99): Build of some of the mandalore throne room with savage Opress, Maul, and Sideous. Other sets: Battle of Kamino ($29.99, 501st style): kamino platform with explode features, comes with 2x p1 shinies, p1 501st trooper, p1 212th trooper, and 2 brick-built aqua droids. Tank droid attack ($39.99): Large snail tank droid build with some terrain that has on it clone barricades and an E-web predecessor. Comes with 2x b1 battle droids, Mace Windu, Ponds (p1), and Anakin Skywalker (seasons 1-2). Clone Wars Dogfight ($79.99): Build of a republic z-95 starfighter and a small vulture droid. Comes with 2x p2 clone pilots (warthog and a normal pilot), Obi-wan kenobi (seasons 3-7), commander cody (p2), count dooku, and a droidika. 501st Gunship ($119.99): LAAT gunship in 501st colors with an accurately sized AT-RT that can fit in the back. Figures are 2 501st p2 clone pilots, Rex, Fives, 2x 501st troopers, a 501st ARF trooper, anakin (seasons 3-6), and 2 umbaran soldiers. The Malevolence ($159.99): Large Malevolence cruiser with interior bridge, hyperdrive, corridor, and microscale versions of the maglev train area and hanger. Figures are Grievous, Kenobi (seasons 1-2), Padme, Ahsoka (seasons 1-2), 2x magnaguard, 2x b1 battle droid, plo koon, and 2x p1 wolfpack troopers. Helmets: Clone trooper ($69.99): p1 clone trooper helmet with some extra tiles to change the markings. Battle droid ($49.99): UCS: UCS Y-wing (clone wars): comes with anakin (seasons 1-2, arm printing), Rex (p1, arm printing), and r2-d2 (swiveling head and third leg).
