I think it was the best episode so far by quite a lot. I can think of a few sets for it: That would be a really cool set, but doesn't fit the whole "transport" thing. 75299 is clearly a GNK droid wearing a mandalorian helmet. (If anyone is somehow unable to figure this out, that's not a mando S2 spoiler.)

Yavin briefing ($59.99): Briefing room, throne room, and command center with a yavin temple exterior on the closed sides. Comes with Biggs, Red Leader, Dodanna, Leia, and two rebel honor guard. Vader's TIE advanced ($69.99): Vader's TIE advanced build in the style of 2018's tie fighter with Vader (arm printing, red eye printing on helmet), a TIE pilot, a stormtrooper and Tarkin Rebel Y-wing ($79.99): Larger Y-wing with Gold Leader, Wedge (I know he's not a y-wing pilot but there aren't any other well-known pilots and Wedge is one of my favorite characters, sue me), an astromech droid, and two rebel technicians. Millienium Falcon ($149.99): OT millienium falcon at a similar size to the 2019 set. Comes with Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie, C-3PO, R2-D2, Ben Kenobi, and a stormtrooper. UCS: Death star ($499.99): Death star (not open like the last one, the lack of interior detail should cancel out the added cost of the exterior paneling) with Tarkin (dual molded boots, leg printing) and a death star gunner (arm printing, better leg printing).

I mean for $20, it wouldn't be bad. I'm sure factory leaks will start soon. However, instagram is hiding all recent posts on all hashtags now, so I won't be able to see them .

It's the blue/grey x-wing, so either it'll be a new pilot, snap, or poe in his jacket, which we've only had once before (and while the jacket torso is pretty common on finn, the undershirt is very different). I could see them throwing a new or uncommon figure into each of the affordable scale sets to make them more desirable. The thing is, we don't know what impact the changed size and price will have on figures. The x-wing might only come with luke and artoo, it might have 4 figures (which would be pretty good for a $50 starfighter). The lambda could just have the pilots and vader or something, or it could have like 7 figures. Yeah, when it came out it was the only way to get that figure. That said, I think it's most likely we get Poe (Jacket), BB-8, and a first order flametrooper.

I just meant overkill for me to have that many, of course any OT x-wing they release will be red squadron and 1 every 3 years or so makes sense to me. Although that's not a bad idea, it'd be pretty cool to see it converted to starbird or vanguard squadron. As for printed parts, the only thing I can think of is the red five marking tile, which wouldn't really impact the design if you removed it. There might also be some on the fuselage but again, nothing you couldn't replace with unprinted tiles without sacrificing much of the look.

I mean, it's the closest you can get. Not that it's all too difficult to get the figure now that he's in a polybag in europe and was in a $40 set in the US, bricklink prices are $5-10 in germany (so I believe around $15 including shipping if you were to buy one and were from america)

If you're looking for a downsize, there's a 4+ version coming . I would get this one, but I've got the 2018 one and the 1999 one and 3 red squadron x-wings seems like overkill.

nope. This thread is for wishlisting sets, not speculation. My mistake then, in that case I'd move him to the "understandable why we don't have but could easily be added to a set" column. I still think that the complexity of the head mold compared to the prominence of the character is too big a ratio to warrant his inclusion in anything besides a mos espa MBS. Given the size of the mos eisley cantina's main building, I feel like the arena could be made at that size, but it would be a good idea to make it open up for play. ROTS time. I know, but if I can't misconstrue people's statements on the internet, then what's the point? "Mando Mondays" are these new merch events, they"revealed" the child statue and razor crest today but since there's supposed to be one the monday before every episode, I think the odds of seeing the 2021 mando set(s) towards the end of season 2's mando mondays are high. (side note, the actors' love for the show is palpable, I hope Gina Carano shows up in a subsequent one)

He's said it's a mod of this build, he's certainly made some changes but you can definitely see shockjoke's model.

2018 x wing is the best one yet, the 2021 one looks great for the price but the 2018 one is almost a mini-ucs. The most recent rebel y-wing is pretty good too.

You've got any right to sell a moc for however much you want, but given that this is a mod and your charging 5x the cost of the thing you modded....oof.

Rogue one's official lego AT-ST is pretty good, though I'm sure someone's made a MOC that's slightly better in terms of scale. If you mod it to include some of the updates the raider at-st makes, it should be pretty dang good. (You can also easily mod it to fit two pilots as it should.

And the films, of course. I agree, the old canon was so contradictory and weird, I'm glad they cleaned it up. The canon clone wars contradicts a ton of the old 2d one, too, and like you mention with a few of the jedi, people dying and then showing up in something that takes place later in the timeline wan't uncommon (The many deaths of Shaak Ti being the most well-known example). To try and bring this somehow back on-topic, the cantina uses what I believe to be the legends names of a few of the characters that haven't been named in canon, which is interesting.

The three "boring old geezers" were either military troops or, in lor san tekka's case, a very pivitol character to the early scene. Sio Bibble is just some lame politician who isn't in any scenes you could really make a set of besides maybe a massive naboo palace. Fode and Beed's head would have to be a heck of a lot more complex than that snake, and would need to include the extra pair of arms and maybe even the tail. Ric Olie is the pilot of the naboo cruiser, never the naboo starfighter. All the bolded characters are the ones that I agreed could easily be put in sets... My phantom menace wave seems to have garnered some controversy, let's see how my AotC wave goes. A few things: These are all great, of course, I especially like that Lucrehulk. The spider-droid is amazing too, I don't know why but I really liked that it has a different stand. I'm stealing your Wat Tambor design for my own collection. The tri-fighter looks a bit better now that you've added the "eyes". The tri-fighter is such a strange shape that it's never going to be gone all that well at that scale, but this is as good an attempt as i've seen so far.

no set has many flat silver parts. One or two sets have had some 1x8 or so tiles, but the majority of the parts are pretty small, too. Unfortunately I think that lego would have to find a new way to get that color to do the ship justice. I assume lego chooses figures based off a mix off iconicity, how cool they look to kids, and how well they fit in the set. (obviously adult-focused sets like MBS and simpsons probably aren't the same) This is where the problem comes from for some of them. A few are just disturbing that we haven't yet gotten them, but others make a bit more sense when viewed from that context. I've sorted the figures into four categories: Very unlikely, excluding an MBS: Kister (not iconic, literally just a kid in some tan clothes so kids aren't going to be interested), Fode and beed (require a very complex new mold, not too iconic), Sio bibble (not iconic and not a design kids would care about).. Only would make sense in a naboo cruiser set and that's tough with the colors: Ric olie, Handmaiden (Sure they could be in a naboo palace set based on the earlier scenes but that's more unlikely than lego figuring out the cruiser) Understandable why they haven't shown up yet, but could get figures soon: Naboo engineer and palace guard (easy to throw into an N-1 or flash speeder), Rune Haako (we just need a lucrehulk), shmi (would make sense alongside anakin's podracer or a watto's junkyard), sabe (just more padme outfits, basically.), Boss nass (I think he would really only work in a gungan sub, and they chose padme to be in the last one instead) Should have been in a set or something by now: Battle Padme, Nute gunrey (TPM), C-3PO. Nute and Padme both have plenty of sets they'd make a ton of sense in, and while C-3PO doesn't have any good sets to throw him into but he's kriffing C-3PO, give him a polybag or something.

Do they put exclusive molds in microfighters? If they don't, we might have to rely on an MBS style set, or maybe a 501st legion type set with one podracer and four pilots.

They're just funny waddling things and of course we're never getting a gonk set somehow got a set that included a remote-control gonk with a saw arm, so it's my go-to for jokes here. it is weird. Personally I like the helmets much better without the holes in the sides, but if the cost of no holes is no clone commanders, I'll have to give in there. No P2 Cody is insane. I agree, the big thing I notice here is that this specific model's exterior trooper pods have been replaced with turrets, so it'll look more believable at a $30 price point than when it's got 6 guys hanging off the sides for scale. I also agree with the figure lineup. and of course, all hail the almighty gonk droid. Yup. It's a great mold, and only being available in a $130 set and then a $30 set that's quite possibly the worst set of all time doesn't make it easy to get ahold of. Maybe we should get an endor battle pack, that could easily have 2 scouts in it.

Buildable greef karga moustache. I hope we still get beskar mando, Ideally it'd be him, cara, and a scout or something. I agree with pretty much all of this, though I do think TROS is better overall. No, wait, it's a gonk droid that deploys smaller gonk droids.

That's not new for disney. The ewoks were made to sell toys, so was jar jar, so were many of the beloved clone variations. It's if there's small, sticky-out bits like labria's horns that could easily break off if it were plastic. Actually I think TLJ's story about Luke, Rey, and Kylo was pretty good, it was just the stupid canto bight scenes. And again, making stuff just to sell toys isn't a disney invention for star wars, it's been around since the beginning.

Do you mean missing from my list or missing from the sets, because more than half the things you said were missing are on my list and a fair amount are in actual sets too. For why some things are missing from my list: Naboo starship can't be made in chrome, and IMO would look pretty bad in LBG. It also isn't a combat ship and doesn't provide much play value. I didn't want two massive separatist transports in one wave (The UCS is different), so I chose the more iconic one. The landing craft wouldn't be able to hold much and stay proportional, anyway. Sebulba's podracer is included and we just got anakins, I feel like adding some of the random background ones would be too obscure. Kitster is niether prominent nor an interesting design, and RIc Olie would only make sense to come in the aforementioned naboo starship. Though sure, Sabe and the naboo troop variations would make sense.
