  1. I agree with you here... It's way too much focus on the dinosaurs that are nothing but giant molds than on the builds of the sets themselfs. I would rather have something like Dino Attack back instead. Not because it's licensed or anything, it's just because they focus on the Dinosaurs way too much and rush out the builds. I want something like Dino Attack... that has equally as much focus on the builds as with the dinosaurs (where actually the builds were more important) There are a lot of AFOLs who only buy Technic.... so if Technic ends, their passion for LEGO would probably end too. And I really don't see any reason why this should be discontinued, as opposed to something like Star Wars... THANK YOU GOD!!! FINALLY AT LEAST A LITTLE BREAK!!!
  2. First off, I am not tryng to alienate anybody from enjoying minifigures. It's great that they can enjoy something that I can't enjoy as much. But that doesn't mean I created this topic to stop people from liking minifigures. I just wanted to create discussion, that is all.
  3. The first Castle Subtheme to give us something different from the castles we grew up with, introducing us to the Asian Medieval Era. And this theme was clearly the inspiration for Ninjago. 10/10 Speaking of Ninjas... Next Theme: Ninjago

  5. So yeah, I guess they aren't really "over rated" but more "over priced". But there are lots of cases when rather unneeded minifigures are thrown into sets to increase their value. Like, Howgarts Castle for example. It's a mini-scale build, it has micro figures, yet they still trew in a bunch of exclusive minifigures to make the set more attractive, when they were unneeded in reality. I bet there was at least someone out there who bought that entire set for the minifigures mostly. I understand the that minifigures are likeable and a lot of people love them, but I don't like how LEGO trows in desirable minifigures in not very disareble sets. Like, we just can't forget that Hulk vs Red Hulk set from a few years back...
  6. Under 10$ but still not worth for a single minifigure.
  7. Ok, so first off, I don't have anything against minifigures. But I can't help but notice how much value has been put on them in the past few years... People buy whole sets just for the minifigures, and don't care about the builds of the sets at all. A lot of those minifugures end up being sold on Bricklink or ebay for almost as much as the price of the original set they came in. And oddly enough when I see people talk about the new sets, the first thing they always talk about is the minifigures. And a lot of the new sets seem to exchange the quality of the sets for better quality minifigures. The CMF have continued to grow in price up to the point where they cost 5$ in my country, making them inaffordable. Ok, don't get me wrong. It's not that I don't like the minifigures, it's just I feel like people put way too much value on them. Seriosly, any licensed minifigure I search on Bricklink always costs 10$ at least, unless it was very common during production. I'd rather spend that amount on a full set that might have two or even more minifigures than on one single one. Minifigures are nothing but accesories that come with the sets, and suddenly they are treated like they are worth more than the sets themselfs... What do you think about this?
  8. Yeah, but a lot of times this is risky... Like with Lone Ranger and Prince of Persia where most of the audience hated the movies and had no interest in the sets... And that made them sell poorly. I have never been an Harry Potter fan and I never will, so I can't tell if those sets deserve this award or not. We are nowdays in desperate need of new/returning in-house themes rather than new/returning licensed themes... We just have enough of them... So I was very annoyed when I found out that Harry Potter was returning and when I found out that LEGO Overwatch was going to be a thing... It's just enough in my opinion... We need more in-house themes nowdays, not more licensed themes.
  9. Crimes of Grindelwald wasn't a very good movie, with surprisingly low ratings for a Wizarding World movie... So yeah, I don't think it was really worth rebooting to whole line just for the cause of a mediocre movie...
  10. Thanks! I really apreciate!
  11. Indeed! But I have seen that MOC already, since it was posted on TTV Message Boards before it was posted here. I also made my own Dino Attack MOC with that Mini-Scale T1-Typhoon, check it out if you haven't already!
  12. LEGO has created entire worlds that were never before for the most part in any other type of media, Bionicle being a prime example. But as much as I would like a Bionicle movie, that would probably rely way too much on CGI effects rather than actual live-action acting, so I decided to go with Dino Attack.
  13. If you were a movie director, and you wanted to adapt a LEGO Theme into a live-action movie, what LEGO theme would you choose? If I could do so, I would personally adapt Dino Attack into a R-rated movie. What about you?
  14. Alien Ships that look great even today. Those round shapes resemble a UFO perfectly. Better than any theme we have nowdays. 10/10 Next Theme: Atlantis
  15. A better version of LEGO Ideas, to be honest. Unlike LEGO Ideas where most of the sets are designed by AFOLs, those were actually designed buy actual kids. I would like if LEGO Ideas could do the same, where they accept sets designed by everyone: KFOLs, TFOLs and AFOLS... 9/10 Next Theme: Dino Attack
  16. The best LEGO theme that is still running. While the sets have gotten kinda bland over time, the TV show has greatly improved. Each new season looks like it would be better than the last one. A lot of people who don't really understand the theme want it to end... But I guarantee that if these theme ends, they will never come up with a better one to replace it... 10/10 Next Theme: Agents
  17. You can just get them used off Bricklink or Ebay. It's not really that hard getting the sets you missed on. And this way, no matter if the theme is retired or not, it's still as easy to get from online as the new sets.
  18. The Bricks will probably have some sort of code on them so the app can recognise that they are authentic, similar to LEGO Fusion and LEGO Dimensions. I personally feel very skeptical about this game, as I don't want this theme to ran into the disaster that LEGO Fusion did, when they first tried incorporating LEGO in a game. But at least, the sets look attracting enough for those who don't care about the game.
  19. A possible fix to the very long snake necks that not everyone likes, I have seen that at least one of them usues body armor, reducing the apparent overlenght of the neck.
  20. There are plenty of people on this site that think so as far as I have seen...
  21. That is fairly possible, the landscape looked pretty similar to the one you would see in Chima.
  22. I am sorry to say it but I don't consider those yo be Constraction. Considering them this way would be like saying that the Mixels are also constraction.
  23. Yeah, I thought of that too...
  24. The images are a little to dark, I can't see the MOC clearly...
  25. There was also a wolf mold piece that was leaked a while back, which many people see as evidence for the crossover, since the wolf looked similar to the Legendary Beast Wolf from the 2nd wave of Chima.
